Miu Miu Twist Eau de Magnolia

Received this and I’m pleased. Nothing like Twist or Twist EDT. Unique enough from the Miu Miu line. However very light. Not a contender in heat. Or humidity. I feel this will do better in fall and early spring. Possibility to pop in winter too. Could wear day or night. Just. Not going to last long 2 hours max. Perfect to toss on before bed or after a shower. Bottle is the most gorgeous of the Twist line.

This is quite subtle. Light, fresh, clean; while also slightly warm and sexy in an understated and possibly unisex way. I don't get any sense of real magnolia, or any flower at all. The citrusy characteristic of magnolia is the only thing that comes through for me. I get a tart, refreshing, citrus essence from this, and that's probably what stands out the most. I think this can safely be over-sprayed in hot weather and still won't be too overbearing. A seamless and ethereal scent. Matches the palest-of-blue iridescent bottle, which is beautiful. I think it does deliver a kind of "cosmic chic" vibe as intended. I bought this due to curiosity about the synthetic notes cosmone and boisiris. As of now, I think I like them? They seem like fluffy, sheer base notes. As described, cosmone probably adds the warmth and subtle musk while the boisiris adds a little powderiness. I'm going in a circle of liking this, being disappointed and bored by it, and not being able to smell it at all. At times it seems much too simple, straightforward and fleeting. But at other times, I do think there are some different facets and mystery here. It just takes a little patience and attention to detail to find them. I think I will go through this bottle faster than any other I have trying to find the little mysteries hidden in this fragrance.

Fell in love with this scent after i tried it in the prada boutique in hawaii, went back to buy it immediately. Its a clean fresh scent. Definitly does NOT last long. As a pink pepper note lover, (glossier you, sonic flower) this was great! Smells like a clean soap
