Miu Miu Twist Eau de Toilette

THIS IS SO DELICIOUS. I did not expect to fall in love with this. Not sure if everyone has it but in New Zealand we have a powdered sugar (that you mix with water and it makes juice) called raro and this smells just like it. This is pure, sugary citrus sweetness. Juice in a bottle. The EDP smells different to this (but still nice).

Cute, translucent, clean. It's winter but it works great. Start is pure citrus peel - I cannot truly discern which one - I can clearly feel its bitter skin's oil from the start. An hour or two later floral aspects begin. Be it magnolia, then rose, still under domination of, as if, bergamot or grapefruit, maybe acidic mandarin. Looking at the notes - they do not explain the full spectrum of my experience. I hope the scent will further develop - and yes, 3-4 hours of wear and this version of Twist sweetens quite a lot. Possibly amber joins the sweeter now floral scent as the citrusy vibe no longer dominates. Very cute. Like a Snow Fairy. Purity, clarity, hints of mandarin peels in cold, clean air - fitting for European wintertime when our Spanish neighbours unleash their small orange fruits for the Christmas time. The lovely Yukimi taught me about the scented image of winter and snow in parfume. She's a polar opposite of the warm and cozy scents and yet such a marvellous picture of snowy landscape that it makes me dreamy. This edt by Miu Miu has similar effect. It finishes very silently with tiniest bit of sweetened cedar and blooming fruit tree branches. I like this slow development. It gave me time to concentrate on each beautiful ingredient.

I was looking for a citrus/mandarin perfume and didn't feel like splashing the cash on an Aqua Allegoria or Le Jardin. It is an amazing, realistic mandarin, mouth-wateringly juicy for the first half hour to an hour and incredibly long lasting for a citrus perfume. It may not be a super unique woody citrus but I have really been enjoying it. It doesn't smell like any sort of clean spray, luckily and as it is a citrus it is an amazing mood lifter and perfect for cheering up the everyday. Definitely unisex, perfect for spring and summer and as I got that on offer, it was a great value for money. Haven't tried the rest of the line so not sure how similar it is to the rest.

This one smells like 'yuzu' type of citrus fragrance to me which reminds me of versace bright crystal. Overall it is a light subtle citrus scent. The dry down scent is still citrus to me. The bottle and the color they pick for this perfume is cute pastel but the scent is not that unique.

When it's early on in its drying process, it smells a LOT like DG Light Blue. That kind of watery calamansi smell. I hated it. I was so disappointed. But I let it sit some more and something is happening. I can smell the wood and amber and a very very very faint warmth of tonka bean. I don't detect any cherry blossom at all as this scent is NOT sweet at all. It's more on citrus, wood, amber. There's something really good in here. The wood + amber combo is sophisticated, unisex, and evocative but it's ruined by that citrus that turns sour and abrasive. So it's really like a treasure chest buried under the soil unfortunately. Also, the EDT nature of this fragrance leaves a lot of power to be desired. I find the formulation greatly lacking balance.

The cedar and citrus is very forward here. It does not evolve on my skin, but it lasts 5+ hours and it does project. I wouldn't have guessed an orange note but more of a dry lemon. It's ok, i don't intend buying another bottle.

Very citrusy-orangy, the opening is a little too strong, synthetic and syrupy. Not getting much depth. Kind of basic, doesn’t smell modern nor “fruity-clean”. Expected better. Reminds me of cleaning product scent. _____ Projection, sillage, longevity : 4/10 Originality, presentation : 2.5/10 Quality, value : 3/10 3/10

I received a sample of this with a purchase I made. The opening is citrus strong, perfect for spring/summer but the dry down pulled very masculine on my skin.

literally smells like someone just squeezed some mandarine rind on you

About a year ago I was in Sephora testing quite a few perfumes, and this was one of them. It was instant love - it had the perfect mandarin scent, sharp, zingy and a beautiful drydown, and I decided that one day it would be mine. I left it for a while as I didn't have the spare cash, then a few months later I couldn't find it anywhere so of course I became obsessed with finding it. I finally came across it a few weeks ago at a random perfume store and tested it immediately, with plans to buy it the next day when I had my wallet with me. Now I don't know if my body chemistry has changed since the very first time I tried it, or if I'd just sampled so many perfumes that day that they all blended into one, but the drydown now is so, so masculine on my skin! I've gone in a few more times with clean skin to test it again and each time it smells like I've sprayed mens cologne on me. The opening is still nice and citrusy, and very much like a ripe mandarin but after about 15-20 minutes it dries down to a very masculine woody scent which must be the strong cedar coming through. I'm disappointed that it wasn't the scent I thought it was but hey, at least now I can pick another fragrance to obsess over :)

I agree with the reviewer who said this smelled like apple blossom and laundry detergent! It’s fresh, clean, crisp and the perfect scent if you’re looking for something inoffensive to wear to work. Not in a boring way, but in a pleasant way. It definitely is better suited for the spring/summer and I think you could get away with wearing it at night. It almost reminds me of Versace Eros pour Femme, I see some similarities to both the EDP and EDT versions. They’re all fruity, woody, bright fragrances.

I got a sample of this new EDT Abd I must say that I really enjoy it.I love the EDP version too but I guess the EDT will be great in Spring time.It is very citrus fruity upon opening but it settles quickly on soft pink Amber and woods,it is light but longevity is pretty good for an EDT.I like it a lot but I would use it only in warm temperature.

Smells like apple blossom and laundry detergent. But in a good way. Feels very clean and cozy.

The bottle is really very nice and the notes are interesting to me...
