Miutine

The type of strawberry I wish Strawberry letter or Burberry Her gave off. It’s delicious, distinctly strawberry and sweet. It doesn’t last super long, but if you layer it over GA Si Passione Red Musk the pair are beautiful together. I honestly use Miutine like a body spray rather than a perfume, it lasts a while and is lovely, but the projection fades rather quick though it stays close to your skin for hours. I reapply this one twice a day usually as I am out and about for over 10 hours per day due to uni or work. When I first tried Miutine, I loved her but found the strawberry seemed to fade almost instantly. I didn’t end up buying her and went for the GA Red Musk I mentioned earlier. I realised then that I had probably gone nose blind due to the sheer amount of fragrances I was smelling so went back a week later and bought her. Since then, I loveee her! Sweetly strawberry, something I had been looking on the market and could not find! I loved the body shop strawberry line, and the initial strawberry note in this reminds me of that. It also has the creaminess of the vanilla and sweetness of the brown sugar which makes it a delightful and youthful fragrance. It’s a mature strawberry with whispers of shortcake fragrance. Jammy, ripe and delightful. If you are looking for a strawberry scent and have been disappointed with others in the market, this one will not disappoint! While she isn’t the most long lasting, just buy a travel vaporiser and you will be a very very happy camper. If I was in the office and long meetings and didn’t want to overpower a small room then I would just use this fragrance instead of layering it with the Red Musk. I would use it more like an eau de toilette. You would be hard pressed to find a strawberry scent that lasts an eternity, as there is little to hold it down. So, this one is definitely one of the top choices for me. If you are a strawberry girl, please give this one a chance!!

Classy strawberry perfume! On first impressions you definitely get sweetness from the strawberry note. However, what I appreciate about this fragrance, it’s not a super artificial strawberry like other scents. This strawberry is more refined smelling with the white florals, like gardenia and jasmine to compliment it. As it wears through the day, I would say it pretty much continues to smell the same as the first impression you get, however, the sweetness does dissipate slightly. I wish I got the brown sugar note that’s in there but personally for me I don’t get it at all. The sillage is quite good and the longevity as well. Occasionally during work I would move a certain way or adjust my cardigan and I could smell the fragrance on me. If you’re looking for a more mature strawberry scent, this is definitely the way to go! Personally, I’ve been struggling to find a good strawberry scent that doesn’t smell too artificial like Nest Santa Barbara Starwberry and Rabanne In love. I’m so happy and appreciative that I received a travel size of this!

Miutine opens with a big, juicy blast of a very ripe strawberry --- exactly what I'd hoped for, as I love love LOVE a good strawberry note, and want to see more more MORE strawberry in perfume! I don't get gardenia at all (I was secretly hoping this might be Ropion's version of Daisy, but it's actually closer in spirit to Kate Spade's delightful New York) but instead more rosiness after the strawberry subsides. I got a 10 ml to thoroughly test this before committing to a larger bottle, and while I'm greatly enjoying it, I'm not completely sold on this being my ultimate strawberry scent; it wears a bit lighter than I prefer and while the performance is not stellar, it lasts and projects nicely around half the day, which is not bad. So, all in all, Miutine smells great right off the bat, and is a really easy, fun and enjoyable everyday perfume. Lovely!! Update: I’m flying through the 10 ml. I love it, and reach for it often. Looks like I AM gonna need a big bottle of this beauty!! 🙌 🍓 💖💖

I have to be honest, I thought that, knowing my preference with scent spaces and perfume notes, that I would not be such a fan of this, HOWEVER, I was so incredibly wrong. This is not the typical 'generic designer linear sweet summer' scent, it is much more elevated and evolved than that, a sophisticated classic but modern. The strawberry in this is very particular, not a common strawberry perfume, but specifically a Mara de Bois wild strawberry, which has a much more distinctive vibrancy to it. It opens with a burst of tangy but lush strawberry which preludes a milky gardenia into blossoming rose. Yes the base is sweet, how could it not be, but much less sugared and cloying than one might expect thanks to the moss and amber facets. Dominique Ropion is never going to create anything less than creative sophistication and for me this is a very wearable gourmand, coming from someone who doesn't tend to be an avid fan of the overly sugared sweet side of the gourmand space.

This perfume has the most gorgeous strawberry note that ive ever smelled. I’ve been looking for my perfect strawberry for a while now but everything is either too synthetic, medicinal, powdery, earthy, etc... but the opening of this is pure sweet ripe juicy strawberry in a realistic way and it’s so damn good 😍 it’s sweet like candy. I just wish that opening lasted longer. In the dry down the patchouli starts poking through quite a bit more but It’s tolerable (coming from someone who hates patchouli),(but only cause that strawberry note is just that good). although it does turn this from a love to a like.. But this is such a pretty, fun, flirty scent that has an intoxicating warm sweetness to it and I highly recommend trying it if you love the idea of a realistic strawberry note because that’s what I get most more than anything.🍓🍓🍓 Ps men loveee this scent 😍

on initial spray, I get a huge blast of sweet and effervescent florals that have this crystalized smell, probably from the brown sugar. after a few minutes this fragrances sweetens up even more from the strawberry and vanilla, while still keeping those florals in the background. I mainly get the gardenia over the jasmine, which gives this fragrance a sort of creamy quality that isn't too harsh or screechy on the nose. I was worried about the patchouli in here but I don't get any at all!! this also lasts me the entire day - I'll spray some for school at 9 am and will last me til 4 pm! I also LOVE layering this with the choco musk strawberry oil from al-rehab to deepen the gourmand notes and lessen the florals. these two layered create such a nice scent bubble on me!!

The scent trail of this one is exquisite! There is a slight bitterness to the moss which makes it not just fruity and sweet, but also tart and deep. Sure, the strawberry note is artificial in that typical perfumey way (I have never smelled a perfume that smells of true strawberries or raspberries, blueberries, yes and fruits, but generally not berries). The rose is a little bit powdery and balanced very nicely with the quintessential jasmine. I find it overpriced, but I will gladly buy it again at a discount. More interesting than Burberry Her, which I do lkke as well, but more similar to Mon Paris, but Miutine is mossier.

This is the epitome of youthful, girly, pink, type of scent. Yes can come off smelling slightly cheap & juvenile, but you cant deny that this is a very mass appealing scent. Sweet but still light enough that it smells clean and not too heavy or cloying. If you like gingham gorgeous by b&bw or burberry her, you will like this. Safe blind buy, not photorealistic strawberries, also not the medicinal type of cough syrup strawberries, not something you’ve never smelled before. ~6-8 hours on skin, arms length scent bubble, but not unique enough for that price tag. Overall recommended to strawberry scent lovers.

I looooove this scent, this scent is everything I want in a bottle. Fruity, sweet, vanilla on the dry down it’s such a girly girl scent which is right up my alley. I’ve never smelled a perfume like it it’s so luxurious and the smell too is luxurious itself. I can smell it on me my every time I walk into another room. It opens as a sweet strawberry and dries down with the brown sugar and bourbon vanilla I love everything with a vanilla dry down. This and my good girl blush are now my top 2 favorite everyday perfumes.

To the person who claims it’s offensive to compare this to the original miss dior cherie, do you own it? Because I do and it absolutely smells just like it- and I’ve had it since 2008/2009 so it’s not even like I bought it secondhand. Great inoffensive scent and easy to wear. It is very perfumey and that’s exactly what I was looking for. The opening is very jammy like others say and I love the dry down. It’s perfect for getting back into super feminine scents after wearing another 13 type fragrances for years now.

When used in thin layering through out the day, it becomes sweet, warmer and vanilla like. It sticks to clothing and people react to it mostly on fresh but sunny days. My generous mom bought me this eau de parfum for my birthday after we both liked it when sampling it at the mall. Ready for the longer, hotter days with Miutine but with a clean, flowery Perfume with sultry, heavier undertones. Would love to know about cheaper fragrances that smell like this. Any Arabian or Zara dupes, anyone? 50 - 100ml 💓

i love this!! i bought this (albeit impulsively,) but ive worn it every day since. its perfect for the recent spring / summer hot days. on me, its a sweet musky tangerine with some floral notes. it reminds me a little of lolitaland by lolita lempicka, but this one is definitely sweeter and muskier whereas lolitaland is more boozy smelling (due to the champagne notes.) perfect for a young lady on a summer day. ^_^ note: it is expensive however its definitely worth it. its quite strong and lasts all day/

I love it. To me, after the fruit disappears, it is a very pure clean floral scent of one beautiful flower. But not one note. Doesn't get sickly as it seems like a real flower. So not complex, but enough complexity within that flower. I don't know how they achieve this, but nice job, Miu Miu. Very pretty and not a basenote smell, but not candy sweet. No ambroxan. Could be good for layering. This lasts quite a while, esp on clothes. Definitely worth trying. Glad I bought it.

Wow. I was searching for a new scent today when this beauty showed up and I decided to give it a go. Smelled so familiar to me like a warm hug from the past. Very strawberry forward yet mature. Then I realised it is so similar to miss Dior cherie except for the popcorn note. This is amazing. Great job miu miu. Miss Dior parfum can't stand a chance to this. This is a feminine fruitchouli done right like miss Dior cherie 2005.

a few months ago i few in love with Miutine upon first snif at the store and I basically spend two days tossing and turning all night because I couldn't stop thinking about her. this is an extremely well blended fragrance, i smell the brown sugar, strawberry and patchouli all at once and it's beautiful. i've worn this to uni, dates, the grocery store, basically anywhere and the longevity is crazy. love love miutine <3

oh my gosh??? this was warm peach sugar on my skin, I'm in love. Idk how I'm getting peach but it does not smell like artificial strawberry at all, so maybe thats why i think peach. Yes, it's very gourmand and young but so sweet and warm ^.^ I think you might have to try this on your skin to see if it pulls sour like some of the other reviews are saying. Lasted fairly long on my wrists

I got a sample of this perfume and after first try I instantly fell in love with it. This perfume just brought me back to my favourite memories from childhood. It’s this type of scent that if u hear somewhere ones it carbonate in your mind, and I now that back then this perfume doesn’t exist at all, but I heard something similar, and wow it bring me back. Love it.

“it smells like all the other strawberry perfumes” NO. I don’t get why people say this because to me it has a little something that makes it stand out. This is truly the best strawberry perfume I’ve smelled, it’s a warm strawberry and brown sugar scent with a little patchouli sprinkled on top. Super super pretty and does not deserve the hate that it gets.

Sweet, powdery, floral, slight hint of spicy/smoky strawberries. Weak but I overcome that by doing 6+ sprays (won't be overpowering -- trust me) which can leave trail overnight. All year round sweet feminine scent that can't really go wrong. Nothing too special but one of my fav safety choice for dates or when you want to be that sweet girl.
