Passionfruit Nectar

I tried this on a whim at Target and was really taken by the bright juicy tropical fruit scent. As a huge lover of realistic candy gourmand scents, I bought it on the spot! Reading the other reviews, I find it funny how personal fragrance preferences are. I didn't like Salt Petals as much as I thought, as it didn't smell like anything in particular to me, and I felt the Pacifica line unilaterally smelled weaker and more alcohol-y than Mix:Bar's. EDIT: I ended up destashing it as it became a bit too sharp for me.

This was a blind guy from target... It’s absolutely fruity and it is a dupe of MAC’s Candy Yum Yum but a little bit smoother and way more sugary... This is absolutely a summer perfume, but I wear it when I’m hanging around the house and just want to smell good. Low projection, but I fell asleep with it on and still smelled it on myself the next day

Nice, clean, fresh and fruity. A easy "cheapie" and easy to layer with other scents. It does smell like a very weak version of Kayali's Sparkling Lychee. I love that scent, so I really only got this to layer with that - but I do wear it with anything really - layered with musks and vanilla's it's really nice :)

i really like this to layer with ari’s cloud pink. it’s super sweet and fruity and just add’s a bit of fruitiness to any perfume you layer it with. also good on its own. i wouldn’t say it’s the most wonderful fragrance in the world but it’s definitely a good one to have in your collection!

Sweet passionfruit juice! Like sucking the seeds out of the shell! Deliciously zesty, this is perfect for a night on the town or a day out! It’s tart and juicy, but does not wear very long unfortunately. Super fun fruit for a great price!

Very sweet and smells like passionfruit!!! Very light and airy, so this is great for layering with other fruity scents or if you want something intimate and not too cloying when you're out and about and you know you'll work up a sweat.

This is another tangy, bright, juicy-fruit fragrance from Mix:Bar. I honestly don't think they needed this when they already have Sparkling Hibiscus. The two are extremely similar to me. I agree with the other reviewer that it's effervescent and straight-forward; not a lot of depth here. Perfect if that's what you're looking for. Very daytime summer vibes but it gave me a headache when I sampled it personally. I tend to like fresher fragrances and sour fruity scents don't make me feel very "clean" but that's just my preference. As always I adore their packaging. I feel it looks way more high-end than a $20 Target frag would ever be expected to. I sampled Pacifica's new Passion Fruit while I was there and got more what I was looking for. Still tangy-fruity but with some powdery base to balance it out a bit.

I was expecting this to smell pleasant but honestly the dry down is very medicine like, i think thats the apricot mixing with the sugar. The woody note gives it a earthy tone though and the passionfruit is noticeable too. Although this is not the best imo just gives me a headache.

It opens juicy with mouthwatering passionfruit. The fruitiness lasts an hour max. Then it disintegrates into weak creamy woody notes with the barest hint of watery magnolia. The woody notes are like driftwood. Kind of buttery. There are much better tropical scents than this one.

I really loved this at first; it was sweet, juicy, and light. It was also long lasting, too. Sadly, it turned really sharp and gave me a headache.

I was expecting a juicy fresh, slightly tart passionfruit, and the added notes of sugar & magnolia, which is one of my favorite flowers, growing up in the south, having magnolia trees in my front yard. I know what I want a magnolia note in my perfumes to smell like exactly (like DKNY coconuts about you is an amazing magnolia). However, this fragrance smells like tamarind to me. there’s something sour and spicy in this, I am looking for an amazing juicy fresh passionfruit, but this was not it at all. I don’t like this as a fragrance, and I don’t like this as a passionfruit fragrance. I really like the dolce lily. The passionfruit in it but it is very very strong to the point where it is synthetic smelling, so I wanted some thing that was just those vibes, but fresher and more lighter. Overall, I think that the spiciness and sourness of this fragrance actually makes it unique, I know that this fragrance line at target is crowdpleasing, simple, easy to wear fragrances, but the one and many other of this line are not so linear, I think this one has a bit more depth to it than other perfumes in this line. I was not expecting to like salt petals, which is another perfume that came out along with this fragrance, but I surprisingly like that one more it’s aquatic and simple. I give this a 4/10.

juicy is the first word that comes to mind. it's juicy, sparkly, bubbly, effervescent, sweet, fruity, and just screams summer. there's not much dimension or complexity, its very straight forward. i get a lot of compliments on it and it lasts a few hours on skin but days on clothes. i like it but i don't love it.

Blind bought this at target because it was on clearance for $8.99... this is a gorgeous clean, fruity, and soapy scent. It reminds me a lot of nectarine blossom & honey by jo malone but this one is stronger and a tad fruitier! The longevity isn’t great but for $8.99 im not mad at it

I actually quite like this. It’s fruity but has a slight floral musky sugary scent too. It’s really pretty and unique. And it lasts forever on me! I sprayed 5-6 times around 10 am , it’s 3 pm and I still smell it, especially on my clothes.

Tart and sweet fruits. Really easy wear, crowd pleasing, not too long lasting. If you want something complex - it's not it, but I'd like to have it for the summer! My teenager love it!

Can anyone tell me if this is similar at all the wondertruck enchanted? I'm sure it's not anywhere a dupe but the notes listed have some overlap (passionfruit, sugar, woods).

There is something about this fragrance that reminds me of Jessica Simpsons 'Fancy' perfume. Maybe the apricot note? Very sweet and a little effervescent.
