Sparkling Hibiscus

I got the sample set and this was by far my favorite- I'm looking at the set right now and its the only sample bottle that is empty. My friend got a full size of it for my birthday yesterday (without even knowing that I've tried and loved this perfume, so it was a great surprise). Firstly, this is an incredibly fun fragrance that is perfect for summer and spring time, I could see this being the perfect cheap beach scent. Secondly, it reminds me a lot of a body spray in terms of the scent itself, but has the power of a regular perfume. I definitely sprayed too much the first few times I wore this because it really reminded me of a body spray, but the scent is a lot more concentrated and strong so I advise against that lol. It reminds me of Bath and Body Work's Champagne Toast, but more floral and the musk note makes it feel a bit more refined and mature. The musk base note is my favorite part of this perfume- it starts out as a strong fruity champagne smell and ends with a floral finish and skin-like musk.

I previously loved Bath & Body Works A Thousand Wishes, but its longevity, while pleasant, didn't always justify its average price (around $50-$60+ for the Eau de Parfum or $18.95 for the Fine Fragrance Mist). MIX:BAR Sparkling Hibiscus, is currently available for $15.99 for the 1.7 fl oz Eau de Parfum on Amazon (and $6.99 for the 5 fl oz Hair & Body Mist), it’s an incredible dupe. Its fresh hibiscus and uplifting scent is reminiscent of a refreshing cocktail. While its longevity is moderate, it performs comparably to A Thousand Wishes. To my surprise what makes this perfume exceptional is the response I receive. MIX:BAR Sparkling Hibiscus has garnered the most compliments in my collection. It's a refreshing happy scent that offers fantastic value. It’s an easy quick grab to wear while running errands. If you love A Thousand Wishes but want a more affordable, compliment-magnet alternative, this is it.

Purchased the Mix:Bar sampler pack, with Sparkling Hibiscus #07. Love this - fresh, sweet, with a bit of warmth in the dry down. Perfect for spring and summer day wear. A very happy scent. These scents are great 'starters' for those just dipping their toes into the fragrance world, or for the young. And they're affordable, too. But AS EVER with these cheaper scents, the sillage and longevity are practically non-existent. Sure, I could simply overspray, but it would be nice if there were just more 'oomph' to these scents from the onset. So you truly get what you pay for. Room-fillers these are not. The other scents in the pack are just...meh. Again, not really much to them, they're true 'skin huggers.' The only one I've really fallen in love with so far is Vanilla Bourbon (#09). Got a full sized bottle, and have already put quite a dent in it - will probably do the same with Sparkling Hibiscus!

Those saying this is strong must not own anything other than Target frags. This is a normal silage type of fragrance. You will need to reapply after 3ish hours on skin and 5ish hours on clothing. For the price though who cares. Light, bubbly, sweet, innocent floral good for all ages. Layer this with Delina or another lychee perfume makes the hibiscus pop! The champagne note keeps this light and airy. This wasn’t even on my radar and I was very surprised when after smelling every Mix:Bar scent this is the one I had to have. 🌺 🥂

Beautiful ...... Beautiful .....Beautiful S-M-O-O-T-H and C-R-E-A-M-Y The Cashmere musk is to die for. Very sparkling bubbly from the Champagne notes.. Pretty floral Hibiscus and bergamont orange . Can't stop sniffing. This is another one that wafts around you like a scent bubble. You can smell it. So pretty. * uplifting * feminine * long lasting and projects on my skin * easy to wear....anytime /anywhere / non offensive * Back up bottle worthy Rating 10/10
