Sugared Violet

This is pretty - for a cheapie, it is immaculate for layering. I first sniffed this and it did not sit right with me. I went back and tried again and it was SO good. So I have been enjoying layering this with a lot of new stuff I recently grabbed. It smells great with the new Kayali Fleur Majesty, also a great combo with the latest Valentino Donna Extradose. I see the similarities to Dolce's VIOLET - That is one of my fave scents from Dolce, I need to layer them and see how it does. For the $$ this is clean, fresh, and sugary enough that you can wear it alone for 2-4 hours or layer and make it last longer. Very nice!

wouldnt wear this on my own it was perfect at first but the "sugared berries" sweetness lasts only for a few minutes and then it runs a little too dewy floral on my skin! however its PERFECT for layering under sugary sweet scents like cheirosa 59 and the matching body cream 🤍 gives 59 more depth and makes it more long lasting. i love wearing this combo its what i think a sugar plum fairy would smell like!!

Opens veryyyy fruity with a touch of floral. I smell the violet a lot more in the dry down, but the sweetness never goes away. It's a fresh sweetness- not cloying. A fantastic summer scent.

I just realized this has 2 notes that tend to go either way for me: (green) apple and freesia. This actually reminds me of something I think either bath and body works or Victoria’s Secret had when I was a teen in the 90s. It may have been called Freesia? Anyway, it smells really cheap and like something I wore as a teen. I barely smell the violet—it certainly isn’t “sugared”— but it’s fortunate that I have Cheirosa 59 and STTES 509 which is a perfume dna that’s supposed to layer well with this, according to perfume tok. We shall see. Edit: The dry down is a little better, but this is definitely something I will have to layer with a more “grounding” scent. Edit 2( as of 03/14/26): Ok, so it’s grown on me now that I’m wearing more spring fragrances. It still smells cheap, but I don’t mind cheap on really casual days. I layered this with Khair Confection attar and B&BWS Butterfly and it actually smells nice. Great day scent for running errands.

Found this at Marshalls a few days ago! Unlike most mixbar scents, this one doesn't make me nauseous. It does sometimes give me a headache if I overspray, so I try not to. It definitely has a synthetic sort of thing going on, but if you use it sparingly, it's a nice, light, powdery-floral scent. I like to use it after I shower because it can lean in a soapy direction. It doesn't last a super long time or project far, but I prefer that for this fragrance! I actually don't have any other violet scents, so I'm not sure how accurate this one is. I'd say it's sort of just a nondescript powdery, soapy, sweet floral. I definitely enjoy it for the price point, which was around $10 at Marshalls. I don't know if I would pay full price, though.
