Sakura

I chose Sakura for my spring honeymoon in Japan because it feels vulnerable but self-assured, and of course, it reminds me of the cherry blossoms we saw there. The champagne-tinged rose and peony accord is cool, deep, boozy, and somewhat watery. Like a watercolor painting of cherry blossoms, or cherry blossoms in the rain. It evokes the romanticism—beauty and sadness—of the fleeting cherry blossoms, coming and going, washing away, in just a couple of weeks. I want to smell it over and over again. The lasting power of this scent is superb, too, by the way. I considered the Kimono collection version of Sakura as well, but the added vanilla in Kimono takes away from the cool wateriness of this version, which I quite enjoy.

This one I think is the heaviest among the Miya Shinma fragrances. Still, this isn ́t heavy. It is fruity and floral in a very fresh way, I like the opening a lot, the lemon and soft rose is delicate and soft, a light pink kind of fragrance. Unfortunatly I think the peony dominate to much when it enter the fragrance. It become a little to sweet and spicy for this creation, or maybe it ́s only my skin that make the peony come out that strong. The basenotes is pleasant, warm and longlasting. I recommend it to anyone that likes peony in fragrances and that is looking for something longlasting and pretty.

Peony grapes that turned to sweet roses and citrus. This one whiffs between sweet & rosy with slight floral & hints of greens. Musk & jasmines are there too. After all, i had high hope for "Miya Shinma" collection but unfortunately nothing was interesting.
