Tsuki

I blind bought this based on a recommendation and I am filled with regret. It's not terrible per se, but it is too strong, too raspberry, too powdery. Way too powdery. Maybe it is a scent that performs better on older skin? This fragrance also gave me a massive migraine. That might be due to the raspberry note. Please keep in mind, this perfume is neither fruity, floral, sweet or gourmand at all. It definitely leans more chypre. In the meantime, I'll keep trying to crack the code on this and use it sparingly and layer it with another scent...

This is a gentle cultural chock. Forget about any western perfume that I have called ethereal or airy. This is ethereal and airy. Light as a pale pink butterfly a dewy summer morning. It kind of floating, very easy, sweet and fruit but without being girly. On my skin it mostly remind me of wild strawberry flowers. Soft, mouthwatering and so delicate. A linear fragrance that almost not seem to have any basenotes, they are as transparent as the rest of the perfume. An elegant sailboat slowly drifting away without an anchor. No matter how easy this is, the wonderful wild strawberry stays on for such a long time, and it ́s a pleasure to wear it. It is really that good, that I think it isn ́t perfume, it is like I have soaked in a bath of freshly picked wild strawberrys and flowers. There isn ́t anything chemical our artifical, Tsuki feels very true and realistic. A quite, minimalistic masterpiece.

Raspberry bamboo & jasmines sandalwood. This is quite sweet yet Moulin Rouge girl fragrance. It has that candy sweet slutty factor note with doses of nasty jasmines, musk, and sandalwood with some bamboo, and mildly sharp yet sweet roses with a base of delicate heliotrope. Later, the raspberry struggles with the jasmines as you can smell the fight between that candy sweet raspberry and nasty animalic jasmines & musk blend. It does have that contradict of a nasty prostitute kind of fragrance with wild yet kinky heart. I rarely like raspberry note but in here it is presented as a scene rather than a fragrance.

Something medicinal about it on my skin, I can’t pinpoint what note.
