Lovely Alba

This is so lovely and so pure! It is as if you happened on a tender moment between a mother and her child. She has just bathed the baby and is wrapping her in a fluffy towel. It is a fleeting and magical moment... Lovely Alba smells wonderful. But I have to say that the longevity is weak and there is no projection to speak of, really. It reminds me of a perfume I used to have called Eau de Bonpoint. It smelled of childhood memories and pure happiness...and the same thing it was with Eau de Bonpoint, its longevity was very poor, there wasn’t much to project but the scent was without a doubt magical... I still got a full bottle of Lovely Alba because to me, personally, it smells like pure love...and I wish my whole life smelled like this...

I love the smell of Lovely Alba, it’s absolutely beautiful. Very pleasant and feminine. So soft and comforting. Like beautiful baby skin. Very close to skin. From the moment you first spray until dry down it’s very pleasant. Starts a bit citrusy but very rapidly becomes powdery and absolutely pleasant. However, and unfortunately it has a very poor longevity. you definitely get compliments on this scent. Only if it would last a bit longer.. it’s absolutely beautiful scent.

The perfect after-shower and bedtime scent—soft, pure, and effortlessly calming. Its fresh, clean, and powdery notes create a cozy, comforting aura. The performance is subtle, but that’s exactly what makes it the perfect cologne for these moments.

This may just be my weird nose perception of this but in the opening there is a green and neroli blast that kind of reminds me of Chanel 19. That quickly fades away (scent becomes much more soft) and transforms in to a light citrus without the greenness. Then the fragrance dries down to a powdery Iris, but it is very light. This is very “molecular” in that I couldn’t smell it after a while but other people smelled it on me. Overall I found the combination of green sweet powdery interesting. But it’s interesting, not a love for me. I think someone who likes a very classic scent would like this, it reminds me of a hand cream one of my very rich aunts used to wear. I am ok with it, it’s not something I would wear everyday. Also it doesn’t smell like Arquiste Infanta En Flor but it does have that same hand cream vibe so if you like that one you would most likely enjoy this one.

Pretty, pleasant, I'm hearing a lot of words in the comments that are a little double edged swords. It is pretty and pleasant. Inoffensive, you can say boring. Somewhat fleeting, although the citrus in the opening is pretty good, dry, and mostly about the neroli than the bergamot. I think to appreciate this you need to like the makeup bag genre, definitely there with the orris beneath. But its super quiet. I'm trying my best here to up this frag, it is pretty and pleasant. Dramaloladiva- I looked up this fragrance you mentioned in hopes of finding this scent you spoke of, and I came across the Bonpoint website. They have a section of fragrances and one is just called “eau de toilette.” I compared the notes listed in the description with those that are on the entry for “eau de Bonpoint” here, and I believe them to be the same perfume. It is, however, $85 for 50ml, a bit much to test this theory. But for anyone interested in the Bonpoint eau de toilette and with $85 to spend, it is there on their website. One site is for US and I believe they have a French one as well.

Opens with a hard citrus, and it finishes off with a powdery scent. Pretty, but not FB worthy.
