Memory of the Sun

Ok... so I blind bought it. I took the risk. But it fortunately paid off. It‘s my favorite house and I already own many of the brand. The fragrance fits right in. It’s likable but not generic. To me it starts off a bit like a l‘interdit flanker, since it’s not a challenging tuberose. the tuberose is neither endolic nor bubblegumy nor green. It just brings together the juiciness of the raspberry with the green notes (which probably do come from the tuberose but it’s really subtle or from the perubalsam). It is an airy scent that starts bright and juicy but settles into something warm and sunny. Very very pleasant, very easy to wear and I would say versatile. I got asked if a man could wear this. Well, in my opinion yes, the beginning I perceive feminine but it settles into something so inviting and warm... yes I might enjoy that on a man. However, I haven’t had the chance to actually smell it on a man, so no telling if I‘d stand by that statement 😅 Long story short: it’s a win for me an if you generally like the house and or Morillas summer creations, I‘d suggest testing it.

I wanted to love this but this to me is an unusual mix of watered down oriana and solar blossom. I initially liked it but as it dried down it created a weird, saltyish scent bubble that made me feel a bit nauseous. I’ll test it again on another day, but currently I don’t think this agrees with my chemistry
