Perfect Oud Extrait

The extrait is MUCH better than the OG. Brighter, louder, thicker and slightly sweeter. It is in the same ballpark as Louis Vuitton's Fleur Du Desert and Ombre Nomade. All three are centered around the classic rose and oud pairing, This is sweeter and more unisex than Ombre Nomade, and slightly more masculine than Fleur Du Desert, which is one of my favorite fragrances. I think Perfect Oud Extrait sits squarely between the two LV fragrances in many different ways. If you like Ombre Nomade, but it is just a little too rough for you, you may really like this. Personally, I still prefer Fleur Du Desert, which I think is phenomenal. I would give Perfect Oud Extrait a score of 8.5/10 and a Fragrantica score of 4.35. It also bears some resemblance to Brioni Eau de Parfum Intense, but the oud or oud accord in this is more elegant and better blended. Sadly, Perfect Oud Extrait is currently not available in the US. We only have the OG. So with shipping and tax from the UK it is currently more than $400.00 if you are in the US. But for people elsewhere in the world who have easier access to Perfect Oud Extrait, I would definitely recommend it.

Very similar to LV Ombre Nomade however, it does have a booze note (rum) that definitely makes it stand out. Performance is huge in both longevity and projection. My only gripe is the attention to detail.... The bottom of the bottle states 78% concentration (EDP), like all other Mizensir frags.... But the box states 69% concentration (Extrait). I love the stuff though, brilliant release.

Incredibly high quality perfume. When this is available in the US I am RUNNING not walking to get it. Deep, rich and dark. LOVE

Dears, I have no idea who’s writing all these comments, but let’s make one thing clear: this is a DHI flanker. Or, to be more precise, to my nose it’s closer to Valentino Uomo Intense — more iris-heavy and a bit more “woman-purse-like.” I trust my nose more than my eyes, so I don’t care what notes you think you can see listed here. The fragrance is dense, well-balanced, and has good quality. I’d even risk saying it’s slightly better quality than the newest DHI, which has that annoyingly sweet and synthetic something going on. If you like DHI, buy an older batch or go for the older Valentino Uomo for a slightly different twist. If you don’t want to spend too much, Al Wataniah is the best dupe — it has some quality issues, but for the price it’s still a solid choice. If you get Mizensir as a gift, use it. Why not. I feel honestly insulted by the release of the new DHI and the new Valentino, so no comment there. Givenchy’s version is basically a broken DHI. Pease!

There is no radical departure between Perfect Oud and its Extrait counterpart, but the shift in weight and texture is clear. The Extrait feels denser and more saturated, with a heavier concentration that introduces a subtle boozy warmth and a darker, almost chocolate-tinged richness. These additions do not rewrite the structure, they deepen it. That familiar cosmetic iris effect is present, along with a persistent nail-polish-like nuance that I simply cannot unnotice. This impression was already part of the original Perfect Oud, so its presence here feels intentional and consistent, not distracting. Overall, the Extrait is an improvement. It retains the freshness of the original while delivering better performance and a fuller, more rounded presence on skin. The added depth gives the composition more authority without compromising its clarity, making it feel like a more confident, resolved version of the same idea.

I don’t know why all the influencers Glaze this fragrance it’s Nice for sure don’t get me wrong but I feel like Mr Alberto messed up the formula here Golden oud is way way better than this one with notes a citrus and Amyris it’s Dark a bit brightness from the Amyris woods much better in my opinion this one is just Okay not like how all these YouTubers make it sound like or even compare it to Ombré nomade or Dior Parfum those are in a different League it’s like comparing the Europa League with the Champions League 😂

Update: Happy I gave this another chance. a mixture of mildly-sweet rose/iris with some fresh and spicy component, smelling up close you also get the smoke with an intense dusty-dry wood/ Cedar. The drydown is less dry, slightly vanilic and spicy, the rose/iris stays throughout. This is really deep and have a lot of layers to explore. Not bad overall, really grew on you overtime. Close to the original, trades some lift for added richness. **Important note: I'm getting nose blind to this but people around me seem to smell it very well even after a full day. About the “Extrait” oil concentration, The bottle says 22% The website says 28% The box says 31%

Honestly the name is pretty spot on if you want a buttoned up leathery western style “oud”. In terms of approachability and composition this fragrance is clearly made by expert hands. I would call this a genre defining “standard” for what western Oud should be

The original is better. This one goes to the stinky territory which the original avoided beautifully. Also the original has better sillage. This has more longevity but it is subdued

is it similar to the EDP Version? because according to the notes here it has nothing to do with the EDP Version. The EDP Version is fresher and works on summer/spring seasons

To my nose, this actually smells better than the original. It reminds me somewhat of Xerjoff Deified, but it’s less dense and feels more balanced and refined overall. 9.5/10

This one is similar to the OG, and it’s fresher than the notes would have you believe... I smell calone throughout 🤷🏼♂️

tried this at harrods (its a harrods exclusive), it is excellent, much better than original. looking to buy a bottle

I didn’t like the OG, I wonder if this is better.
