Rose Exaltante

I love Mizensir Exaltante. It's a very beautiful rose fragrance. I have a good number of rose perfumes, and this one has a true bouquet-of-roses scent. It's not too sweet or too heady...just very, very rose. It's also a fragrance that I can spray on my pulse points and I'm good to go for a while. Today, I sprayed at 9am and it's 4 pm and it's still there and beautiful. (Just for reference, I love Tiffany Rose Gold, Marly Delina Rosee, Miller Harris Rose Silence and Liis Rose Struck.) I'm stunned that it includes oud, because I hate oud. I don't smell oud at all.

If a perfume had a texture, I would describe this one as "glass" texture. It's clean, transparent, elegant, firm and a little cold. It reminds me of cold icy water. A person wearing this projects competence and doesn't show emotions. Still, it's pleasant scent. I usually don't gravitate towards rose perfumes, but this one is nice. Smell it from a distance. If you smell it too close, the green facet may be too prominent.

Powerful, dense musk cloud flavored with a powdery rose and, despite no citrus in the note breakdown, a soft pithy lemon to my nose. Has a little greenness, a faint woody backbone, and some mild animalic undertones. Linear and very consistent performance, with moderately strong projection for 3-4hr before pulling in a bit but remaining noticed for most of the 12hr+ longevity.

A cross between Jo Malone red roses and Byredo Rose No Mans Land to me. The first spray is a strong hit of red rose and then it settles into the old and musk. I like it alot...wish it had more staying power. and for that reason I am sticking to my Byredo.

Smells like a rose fragrance for a mature lady. It smells like a deeply red, powdery rose with touches of chamomile. There is something deep and sensual about the fragrance. -

From all Mizensir fragrances l had tested this one disappointed me right on the first spray. Rose note is straightforwardly detected and almost overshadow other notes for awhile. In my skin after few minutes, the rose scent gave place to a more gentle styrax note, which l personally liked more (l have some liquidambar styraciflua trees in my garden and l love the leaves scent). Nonetheless, the disappointing 'first impression' stayed in my brain, which this intensive rose scent reminded me a soap called "Lux".

I’m striking out with Alberto again. Having a hard time finding scents I love from his Mizensir line of fragrances. Whoever voted Tea Rose similar is spot on. Rose Exaltante is a linear, straight forward rose—dominating from start to finish. The only other note detected is musk, but rose oil is 95% of this juice The promotional copy describes Rose Exaltante as delicate. That’s the opposite of my experience. And with so many other similar perfumes in the market, why would anyone go here.

Did you ever wish to have Rose-Water in extrait format? I'm talking golab (mid-east readers can relate). This is Rosewater extrait. No mater what, it won't come off. Longevity is over 10 hours. It has a lot of green-facets. This was a miss for me from this house. This is the greenest of all roses that I have smelled in perfume, ever. It smells extremely natural, and well blended. Just not for me. 6/10.

China Rose by Floris, made dreadfully persistent. Great, just what I wanted, to smell like bath cubes, no matter how many scrubs. You couldn't pay me to wear this again. I love some rose scents but this is unfortunately exactly the same as Morny, Yardley and other cheap vintage brands which fell out of favour years ago. Only try if you like rose no matter how it comes.

A sour green rose w/ a strange indefinable note. 🤔 Smells like a failed attempt at JM Red Roses. That strange note w/in this rose persists throughout & ruins any attempt to like this fragrance.

MIZENSIR.ROSE EXALTANTE No, no, no. It is this. In opening the package from Mégève which, fortunately was given off with the neighbours, through the layers of packageing material I already could smell this divine rose, i.e. within the unopened flacon. What beyond heavenly opening of a beautiful rose became upon me with the first spritz. It surpasses even Maitre Parfumeur et Gantiers 'Rose Opulente' and Frédéric Malles'/Edouard Flèchiers' 'Une Rose'. It is that ephemeral, haute, present, well this unbelievable rose accord (i.e. absolu of Bulgarian Rose) where it almost goes beyond itself yet to be a rose, the rose, this is the essence of the rose, being there at more places (evenemential, spacial, refined, spiritual, essentialist, floating above worldly matters and at the same time a deep groundedness), now that is a rose. Here we have the 'Rose Exaltante' where one feels at once Versailles-Versaciste, fashion, couture, capriciousness and this all for well into half an hour. Then the rose gets 'hauled in' that is, so it seems. But not to my nose by the pink pepper not also yet by the styrax but by the suddenly recognized laotian oudh ! And this will always be my favorite 'spiel'. Dusita 'Oudh Infini', Ex Idolo 'Thirty Three', Montale 'Attar' (with double distilled mysore sandelwood), 'Black Oudh' [extreme], 'Nepal Oudh', 'Oudh Purple Roses'. Yet here it is more a game of capricious dancing around and around. What next to this clearly detectable game between notes (I smell the pepper and styrax) keeps persevering is still this crystal clear and highly sophisticated rose perfume, so so beautiful. The animal notes and powder are seeping in where this is like an impressionistic painting. The perfume also has this straight out chicness to which we anticipate by wearing it the people will notice and it shall boost your CV if such things still matter to U. With my 40 years of olphactory experience (being not 'un nez'....) I nevertheless gathered some handicraft and right from the start strong, very very strong preferences. It has to be feminine, present, 'Parisian' (or even vulgar American, for that matter and then these American perfumes prove to be not vulgar at all) and above all: exaltante. Now the more 'earthy' and probably animalic (= also the oudh !) components come to the fore and this is a masterly crafted perfume, richly layered doing justice to the somewhat haunting narrative and I love it. I guess one of the strongest characteristics of this perfume is that the rose keeps vigilant and brutalist while at the same time so chic and fragile; also that this is again "another oudh-rose perfume" and unlike the ones who sigh these laments I judge this as a blessing. What fantastic perfume this is, truly a masterpiece.

this is a fabulous rose perfume. I've already reviewed it as I acquired it in 2016. Albert Morillas has achieved to catch the very essence of the Rose whereas there are so much Hybrids and Variations. just why the Rose is the Queen of Flowers you will get to know in spritzing this perfume. I remember at my work (I guess eight years or so ago), I passed a hallway and got greeted with the remark what is THAT for a perfume... I immediately smelled it too. it made such posh and sophisticated impression and I was immediately elevated. when I laid in bed last evening I smelled my pulse and it was as if I dived deeper and deeper into a rose, which form already has something Mystical and Labyrinthical. I imagined myself diving headfirst in a Pink to Red Hypersphere of shifting petals and the sheer graciousness of the smell. the petals shifted side by side which made the seen-unseen Depth as fluid as water. then the Citron (I guess in the damascenones) picqued scent of an unbelievably Purity and Opulence guided me into a Neversphere of Pink Red divinity and never endingness. not that I needed to glue my nose to my pulse, the perfume annexated the room immediately and for hours on end. the Laotian Oud is a mere accent here, yet indispensable as it, with the Pink Pepper, (I suspect) the Hedione and Chamomile complexisizes the Rose perfume in an original and soothing manner. a Rose notwithstanding has thorns... Animal notes, Musk (of which I never know for certain if I can smell them, the 'White Musks'), the Styrax and Powdery Notes all facilitate the Rose to shine and fashionistibly and cosmetically (Powdery Notes) endure and enliven the sensation felt, by me, and everyone involved. the Dive into the Rose is like a Dive in the Universe. as Rilke wrote: to dive in ['the Petals of Nobodies Sleep', paraphrased], without end without force just this unbelievably diaphanous as scathing as soothing Super Perfume of 'Grand Luxe Surfin'. (not surfin' as in surfing but French sur-fin, fine in unprecedented finery.) another perfume of Mizensir with Morillas' Grande Souplesse.

The greenest rose fragrance so far that I have tried. It's as if you are walking into a small florist shop the collective smell of roses with a variety of other flowers including the stems, the leaves, the dirt the flower food all that goes into a pretty florist shop. If that scent has a good vibe for you then you will love this fragrance.
