Sweet Praline

Sweet Praline is SO pretty!!!! I already loved the name and was uber-excited to try this one because I'm a huge fan of Alberto Morillas' creations - all the way back to Daisy :-) Many seem to be underwhelmed by this one and prefer For Your Love, which I also adore, but I'm more in love with Sweet Praline for its refined and subtle presentation of a lightly floral gourmand with just a hint of raspberry. Though it's light, it creates a noticeable scent bubble and I detect it wafting around me as I move around. I love my beast-mode performers, but also appreciate having some quieter options in my collection for casual / work wear, and this is an ideal option. The benzoin here provides warmth and the perfect level of sweetness, balanced out beautifully by the watercolor florals and topped off with a slightly tart and juicy raspberry note. The scent of this truly makes my eyes roll back in ecstasy! Sweet Praline is fluffy, charming and so delicate and lovely. I REALLY wish there was a 50 ml, however, as it's pricey, and I do wish the longevity were a bit better for the price. However, with 100 ml, you can douse yourself ;-) Don't listen to all the naysayers - experience this one before dismissing it. It is BEAUTIFUL!!

Not every scent is for everyone. Some are pleasant, some are orgasmic and some are absolutely horrid. I started learning about niche fragrances at the end of 2019. Now, I can't get enough of the niche world and I'd like to believe that I'm a better woman for it (jk lol). I've sampled many and bought a few fragrances but never wrote a review. Anywho, this scent right here makes me so HAPPY...I literally smile when I smell this scent. From the first sniff, I knew that it was a love and I knew it would be my signature scent. I don't think this is for everyone and I'm also not saying that it's the best scent in the world. However, when you find something that you love...hold onto it. I think that this is appropriate for everyday (whether you work at home or in an office environment). I find that this is feminine leaning. I personally love powdery, sweet, ethereal, soft scents and this one fits the bill for me. My husband also loves this scent on me so it's a win/win. I'll probably buy a back-up bottle because I love it that much!

Buying this to layer with immediately!!! Happy accident, I layered this over one of my signatures and became *that girl* need. Gorgeous girls wear thisssss. Raspberries princessss. Great performance, it lasts and projects over one of my beast mode fragrances. Edit: Has become my signature as of late. I just feel so pretty wearing this. Edit 2:I’m in love with this perfume. No one buy it it’s mine 😭 just kidding.. I’m very happy I found this by accident. NO influencers have talked about this and I’m so happy about it. It’s a lightly caramelized raspberry with a high end luxe grip I’m just in love with it. I want to wear it everyday. edit 3: this fragrance is perfect to me. its everything I love in one. its feminine and feels innovative. luxury with a freshness, something clean something rich something bright and spritzy and something suave, moody. A fragrance for a high fashion siren ;) Its everything I want in a fragrance, so perfect.

This raspberry-cotton candy confection is as light as air: fluffy, dreamy, sugary but not overly sweet, syrupy or cloying in the least. I’m getting vibes of Nishane’s Hundred Silent Ways and BR540 (but without the latex or medicine cabinet notes) in the opening. Yet the whole composition isn’t so light it floats off into the ether. It is grounded just enough with papyrus wood and frankincense. Stays pretty linear, but I’m fine with that! This is a great example of what a master perfumeur, such as Sr Alberto Morillas, can do when given free artistic reign.

It’s unfair, the low rating! To me, it’s a very pleasant, not too serious, feminine bright warm scent. I don’t get bored of this perfume. The fruity aspect of it is very uplifting and interesting. Overall, it’s really nice 💓 I don’t care about longevity.. it’s for me to enjoy, the combination of the notes is beautiful.. from the moment you spray til it fades away it’s a fun journey.. personally I don’t like great longevity.. it’s for those with one single parfume in their closet .. for those like me however, better not😄

This is such a beautiful sweet airy scent. It is sweet but not cloyingly sweet, it just smells well blended. It lasts well on my skin without being overpowering. The smell is so smooth and delicious. Have you smelling like an expensive snack. It is a raspberry powdery goodness.

My favorite fragrance. Since it isn't available in just any perfume store or airport, it feels truly unique. It's my signature scent, distinctive, memorable, and unmistakably me. Sweet airy raspberries like raspberry mousse. I also have For your Love and Pudre dore.

I love this, it's such a unique grown-up raspberry. I layered it with Byredo Black Saffron this weekend because that's more of a leather raspberry and it complemented it in a fun way. I mostly wear this on its own and it stays on my clothes for days.

Sweet praline is what I wanted from For Your Love, which was a musk bomb on me. Sweet Praline was love at first sniff. Its sweeter (not overly so) and more pleasant to wear. I also am a fan of Ambroxan so this one was a no brainer. Signature worthy.

Such a gorgeous fresh raspberry scent. If for your love by Mizensir is too strong for you this is a great alternative. Raspberry is a note I don't see as much but I fell in love, feminine that girl.

An agreeable and sweet easy reach. Brings in compliments from everyone (especially men). The notes really do not stand out to me but this concoction does create an airy-woody- sugared scent trail.

Still my signature, just came to add because no one’s mentioned anything about the creamy praline note in this is just divine.

This is enjoyable enpugh... kind of a designer fragrance concept done in a luxurious way. Mizensir is prob my favorite house so far though, so I might be biased. I do get a creamy, not too sweet sugary praline. The raspberry is subtle, but quite bright in the places where it does shine through. No incense for me, i wish! Florals are lovely- lots of green jasmine intertwines with the benzoin and raspberry. Notes aren't quite seamless, but sort of close- they stand on their own but also support each other. I'm not getting the notorious sparkly/musky DNA associated with this house. Good longevity, moderate sillage- for Mizensir, that's great. It's pretty straightforward (linear). Not for me. Nothing wildly unique, but nicely done. A hardlike for me. Quite feminine, day or night, most seasons except maybe summer.

I have a 1ml sample for sale or exchange, dm me if you’re interested! The jasmine in this one my lord... Let this scent sit on my arm for about 10 minutes and I sort of teared up at how good it is. Heady, tea-like, majestic without getting animalic, the best parts of a jasmine scent preserved in a bottle. I think the raspberries aren’t the main character here like most people say, but it is quite prominent, sweetening the scent and bring forth a certain juiciness to it. Benzoin deepens it, papyrus and incense dries up the jasmine and keeps it from becoming animalic. Gorgeously done. One of the most perfect jasmine scent I’ve ever come across. Longevity is disappointing for the price point so I'm not buying a fb, but I'm gonna treat myself to a lil sample.

This isn’t that sweet as its name would suggest. I like this one from Mizensir, it is blended so nicely. However, I would not go out of my way to get a bottle of it. Why? Because, I have similar scents in my collection. Are they exact dupes? No, but I just don’t really need it. It is very pretty and it is blended very nicely with the fruity/floral/sweet-ish notes. Definitely worth getting a sample.

Very pretty everyday scent that can stand alone or be used as a perfect anchor for layering. It’s sweet and airy and has a very nice ambery dry down. It’s not a beast mode strong fragrance and may be typical, but I love the airiness of this scent and it goes well with a number of scents such as florals and gourmands alike. I like to layer it w Thameen Peregrina and it’s divine.

Delicately sweetened airy ambroxan bomb, dusted with icing sugar and a touch of juicy raspberry. A well blended niche take on a simple, sweet and clean smelling fruity musk scent. Not as saccharine or as nutty smelling as the name would suggest. This certainly is not a gourmand, more like an aspect of comforting baby powder for adults.

I prefer this much more than For Your Love. This is more in the baccarat rouge but maybe a tad bit sweeter. I wouldn't wear this on its own but i think it could be a good option if you wanted to layer. 8.5/10

In my opinion, better than "For Your Love" is sweet but not to much, I really like it. everyone can wear this but push more to the female side. I will give this to my girl!

The opening is SO SO wonderful with the raspberry but the drydown is just plain and sweet.

Very interesting... like sour raspberry. I wish it would be a bit louder though.

Raspberry-forward scent with prominent airy ambroxan.

I don’t think this fits squarely into the niche bucket. Sweet Praline Profile is like many other designer frags, it’s not bad just not my jam. Opening was a rough, synthetic ride, dry down was definitely smoother. From the name I was expecting a sweet nutty scent, and I got none of that. But I also can’t identify anything other than ambroxan. I would recommend this to someone who like mainstream and wants to play safe.

A gentle nutty sweetness, evocative of the eponymous praline accord, with a heaping dose of added raspberry candy. Slightly nutty and extremely sugary sweet, with the jasmine giving it an airy boost. Has a similar BR540, Burberry Her-esque vibe to it as For Your Love, but this one is way too sweet for me. Strong projection fades over ~3hr before pulling in close but remaining noticed for most of the 8-10hr longevity.

Medium sweet perfume, little bit similar to For Your Love but not as unique and beautiful. Left me unimpressed. I’m glad I only tried the sample. Not similar to one of my favourites La Nuit Tresor in my opinion. Just a sweet perfume, nothing wow.

I got sent a tester card and it was just lovely. So I bought a bottle and all I smell is raspberry. A bit disappointing at this price point. I woud be happy to pay about 1/3rd the price as its nice but not the lovely scent i thought it was.

Smells good. Fruity floral with some powderiness, and airiness. Raspberries, and syrupy sweetness.

All Mizensir perfumes I've tried have been good examples of modern perfumery, i.e., containing a lot of synthetic molecules like ambroxan. I'm not a fan of these types of perfumes because I'm sensitive to notes like ambroxan (which also bring to mind a lot of designer fragrances), but I must admit this one is quite pleasant. Is this worth the price? IMHO, no.

I was googling some gourmand/bakery scents and not sure why Google suggested me this. I went ahead and purchase 3 vials. Not gourmand in any way. I find it a bit too stuffy and sweet. While not smelling the same, I would place it in the same category as Lancome La Vie est Belle, Miss Dior Cherie and the like.

There is something about this that is sharp and unpleasant, but I mostly get Baby Magic baby lotion... super strange scent. Not my cup of tea.

A little sweet, a little nutty. No raspberry for me. Not too interesting in my view.

I’m so disappointed. I heard so many good things about this fragrance but not only did I not get any sweetness or any raspberry but it smelled like it was heavy on the rubbing alcohol and then had a bad mixture of synthetic notes that don’t even last long so longevity was shitty too. I had been looking for a niche raspberry to be my end all be all either year round or spring summer sweet scent and had hoped it would be this so for a while I just said f it and stopped looking because I was sure maybe raspberry in the niche world just didn’t work but randomly I shopped a jomashop sale and picked up Keep Glazed by THOO and also decided to randomly pick up Empathy from THOO as well because the bottle was beautiful and the price was too good to pass up and I didn’t even look at the notes on fragrantica until after I purchased the frags. Let me tell you Empathy is everything I hoped Sweet Praline would be! Literally Empathy is EVERYTHING I had been craving when I trusted the hype over sweet praline only to be let down. So if you’re like me and the notes let you down when all you wanted was a sweet raspberry with some smokey/incensey essence to it then go get yourself Empathy from THOO because it’s that sweet raspberry with a subtle dark smokey edge while still remaining sweet. I promise you it’s everything and it’s long lasting so don’t bother with this miss from Mizensir.

im in love with this fragrance and have gotten a lot of use out of my bottle since buying it. I purchased right in the Mizensir store in NYC, I was sampling many fragrances that day but couldn't get this particular one out of my head. at first I didn't understand what I was smelling, but I liked that it had reminded me of Greenwich Village by BN9. I had a bottle of that but ran out, I found Sweet Praline to be a good replacement. they both have a similar quality to BR540 but for me that fragrance I go nose blind to very easily. Sweet Praline is my favorite of the three. it's very sweet, perfumey, and long lasting to my nose. it reminds me of what a Victorias secret model would smell like on her days off. great everyday scent

Received my bottle today. To me, this smells like a well-blended commercial sweetish scent, but without becoming sickly sweet. I am also getting some ozone note... I have seen that people compare this to BR540 (now that is a scent that i find nauseating because to me it smells like blood.... yes i know) - however I think this is better. I am not getting any powder from this. I feel some powdery note would have finished the scent off nicely. Compared to Mizensir's other scents, this one is 5/10. Day 2: Really wanted to love this because it is an Alberto creation after all. Amber seems to dominate now that I have been wearing this for a bit longer during the day. With sadness, I am giving this bottle away to my colleague.

Sweet Praline is chic and quite delicate. I don’t pick up on raspberry, incense, nor the praline ghost lol. It’s a luxurious jasmine and amber fragrance with light ambroxan and papyrus that give it an airy touch. In the dry down the jasmine does become sweeter, but it’s not a vanilla or praline type of sweetness. If you’ve ever smelled a jasmine flower when it’s in full bloom it has a powdery sweetness to it. That’s what I am picking up. A powder-like sweetness. It’s very nice. I so wanted to love this one but unfortunately, it’s not for me. And for one reason alone, I am not a fan of Jasmine. This is a perfect fragrance for the Jasmine lovers.

Wow wow wow... Straight seduction 💖 Very sweet, but not overwhelming. Intelligent sweetness on the edge. Not loud. Close to skin, but somehow very noticeable. Compliment getter, confidence provider 🥰😎 Imagine sweet fruity powder all over you, which with every move or wind whiffs reminds how beautiful, unique and amazing you are 😃 In my opinion, sweet, gourmand perfumes are not about elegance - they are more about fun, joy, entertainment or night dates. But “Sweet Praline” is really elegant fragrance. Like a sensual whisper, hint of sexuality 💋 Good luck and be inspired 💋

love at first sniff! it’s sweet and makes me feel pretty. it’s uncomplicated, but it’s remarkably well-blended. i would never guess the notes without looking at them (it smells like cotton candy, caramel, and musk on me), and i still don’t get how tossing raspberry, florals, incense, and amber (etc.) together makes something so beautiful and delicious. truly, sometimes the whole is more than the sum of its parts. lovely creation. :)

This is pretty. Really pretty. But, for me, completely unmemorable. I tried my sample, enjoyed it, but nothing stood out. At least not enough to justify the monster price tag I've seen on most sites. I will perhaps revisit this one later, but as of right now, I can say I enjoyed my sample but don't need to invest in more. For now.

This scent is soft, which is a good thing for me, because while it is airy and lightly sweet, there is something synthetic that is unappealing to me. Even without the synthetic note, the scent isn't compelling enough to make me want to reach for it. It's not a bad scent by any means - but it is unfortunately, forgettable.

I was walking around Williams Sonoma and I kept smelling a Christmas candle, sweet pine and I loved it then I realized it was me, when you wear this and some of his others you don’t feel/smell them like a strong designer scent or powerful Delina type smell you get magical whiffs of it as you move I find this beautiful

To my nose, ambroxan and jasmine, with a tartness that I suppose could be raspberry. It’s fine. Something about it reminds me of women’s shaving cream. It’s inoffensive but I can’t imagine anyone, out of all the things they could smell like, choosing this.

Nothing special. I thought it would smell like Clean Reserve Skin, but it doesn't. It simply smells like a perfume someone’s glam-ma in the 1990's would wear. It doesn't really offend me, but it doesn't appeal to me either.

Super feminine and fruity on first spray. Dry down is more unisex and a bit more similar to the name. A bit more of a woody caramel but still very sweet fruity and floral

Just remembered that I have the tester of this, it's brilliant! I can only smell chocolate (that is supposedly not a note in it). It truly is a beautiful perfume

Not bad. Forgettable. Feels familiar. Fleeting. Definitely not for that price. The better, more interesting raspberry note in this collection is For Your Love.

So interesting that we pick up on different things... I can smell small amount of praline.... creamy white florals scream in the drydown.

Mizensir musk DNA in here! Like a clean/soapy, lighter, easier to wear version of for your love. I like this one better!

If you like Coco Mademoiselle Perfume DNA but without headache and better, grab it. Soooo beautiful
