Vert Empire

Beautiful! The opening mix of petitgrain, angelica, and aromatics smell like cutting open a cactus in the desert after the rain. IYKYK. It is a strong opening, but tones down and morphs into a sweet, slightly juicy, green clean fragrance. Along the lines of Bal d’Afrique, BR Vintage 78, or Celine Parade. Not dupes or anything, but they have the same green, citrusy, clean musk vibe. Unisex, maybe leaning feminine, but more fresh/clean than girly. Being an Alberto Morillas groupie, to me this is the evolved, more modern version of CK One. Mizensir has yet to do me wrong.

This is so good. Despite the name and the notes on the list, it's fruity to me, the lushness of the green notes are sweet and juicy, it is incredibly well balanced and strangely rich but light. Projection not amazing but it lasts more than 8 hours and very well. It's not linear, the citrus dissipates pretty quickly, but the dry down is still complex and inviting, I can't stop sniffing myself! Excellent perfume, next on my list. I adore Mezansir perfumes, they 're incredible.

Bought this at the Mizensir store in Geneva - starts off with a figgy bit but then that disappears - very fresh and citric, super clean scent. Lasts a long time and while I see the similarity to Hermes Un Jardin en Mediterranee, the Vert Empire lasts much longer. You cannot go wrong with Alberto Morillas - fact!

I don’t understand the rating on this one at all. This is such a great green fragrance. I have 3 greens in my collection right now - Jorum’s Paradisi (wild and untamed), Philosykos (fresh and figgy), and now Vert Empire (clean and put-together). I expected this beauty to rate so much higher.

I have no idea why there's amber in the accords list. This fragrance is fresh, tomato-leafy and juicy. Citrus here is zesty. First it dries down a bit powdery but still has some of that leafy greeniness since the beginning. Then there is more ambroxan and more musk. Lovely.

Testing this currently, and it's lasted around 7-8 hours on my arm, although it became a definite skinscent after around 4 hours. Decent performance for the profile, this is quickly climbing as one of my favourites.

Amazing. One of my favourites. 10 out of 10. Wish it was more popular for his (alberto) company.

This 2021 release from Alberto is very similar to his 2024 release for Nishane, named Deziro. The difference is that Deziro has been turned blue and aquatic. Deziro is an extrait, but this is no slouch either. Vert Empire has good reviews on Fragrantica, while Deziro is dumped on for being basic (I don't disagree). Both are overpriced at retail for their profiles but objectively are good fragrances. Since I already have the Nishane, I don't need this one. Both are now heavily discounted on the grey market and more than worth their price tags when compared to high-priced designer options. Edit: I wasn't the biggest fan the first time I wore this, but the second time, I liked it a lot.

I really like the Mizensir line of fragrances and the idea of everything being created by Alberto Morillas. His perfumes from other houses are abundant within my collection unintentionally. This one however is not, in my opinion, worth the asking price from retail. It's very similar to less expensive scents. When I first tested it, I immediately thought of Vintage Green 78. Upon closer comparison, they are indeed similar smelling and for that reason, I wouldn't need this in my collection. There's a lot of other fragrances that Mizensir offers that are closer to being worth the asking price. I own Blue Gin and that is an absolutely phenomenal, fresh Iris scent.

Nice citrusy scent: very green, clean and crisp! It’s super airy but still quite versatile for a citrusy scent. It has a very juicy yet sour citrus, I think it’s more about citrus leaves and flowers rather than the fruit itself. Petitgrain is quite dominant here. A very green, fresh citrusy fragrance that smells pretty good. I smell a lot of petitgrain in this but it doesn’t come off extremely sharp like in other fragrances. Definitely going to be using this a lot on nice days and spring time

This is the best “green” I have ever smelled. This scent has the usual Morillas musk DNA and the smoothest blending ever. Going to save up and get a full bottle. Nothing about this scent is offensive. Enough freshness to lean slightly masculine but the musk and ambroxan balances this out into something more gentle for the lady who likes to make a statement. This perfume reminds me of a time in my life... perhaps childhood... and catching botanical scents as i walked in the countryside. A must buy!

This is like CK One, but take away the majority of the "feminine" floral notes that give it that powdery vibe. Amp up a lot more on the green notes, a lot more on the citrus notes and add a big resinous/ambery characteristic. + the projection and duration is like 5 times stronger and the ingredientes are top quality. Amazing unisex perfume for sping and summer. Specifically for the last days of winter.

This one is really fantastic if you love citrus scents. I agree with the review below that it smells more bergamot than mandarin orange. Overall this scent is in the ballpark of Acqua di Parma Colonia Essenza. I find Vert Empire more refined, better blended. It suits me better Amazing one The downside is that it is expensive but you can get 10% OFF on the house's website. Better than nothing

this is by far the greatest green perfume i have had the pleasure to try,my sample arrived this morning and eight hours later It is still going strong I can only echo what other reviewers have said simply stunning!
