Taro Ice Cream

Mostly waffle cone for me, probably won’t touch until it’s colder weather again but on unique days it calls to me

a simple, sweet taro scent! exactly what i wanted out of a taro fragrance

Kind of disappointed by this one. Smells pleasant and creamy on clothes and paper, but on skin the sweetness of the ube disappears and I'm instead stuck with something like plastic/Styrofoam with a hint of vanilla or artificial coconut. Unfortunately these notes are what stick around after drydown. I think this fragrance is aiming to be more earthy (closer to real, raw ube) but it falls flat and overly synthetic.

Oat and coconut creaminess. Oat ice cream on a waffle cone. A touch of taro. Eww, not as nice now. Tonka and vanilla custard in the drydown. Much less ice creamy at this point and less sweet. The final drydown smells like leftover tortillas. Too strong for me and too sweet. But, not as much of a bomb as their Thai Tea, that was dangerous. Overall, slightly enjoyable but not something I really like.

This smells like artificial butter and coconut oil. I don't get dessert from taro ice cream at all. There is also a slight nuttiness and a note that closely resembles cilantro. The fragrance smells like a cheap candle. Too strong/sweet.

Smells like popcorn and nuts. Really strong.

maybe there is a problem from how i stored it. but this perfume smelled great in the begining with a creamy taro with some vanilla and waffle cone notes. Not even a minute after the perfume started smelling incredibly bitter and alcoholy, almost as if i wiffed a bottle of acetone and peppercorns.

I can only smell alcohol!!! This is awful I'm so sorry 😭😭😭😭

taro ice cream in a bottle. sweet waffle cone with vanillic taro ice cream. :) simply gorgeous! i can see the sweetness in this being too much for some people (it's the olfactory equivalent of high fructose corn syrup in virtually all american supermarket desserts). but if you're a gourmand lover like me, you'll enjoy this! the core of this fragrance is very familiar for anyone who has hunted for a sweet vanilla fragrance at bath and body works or target. the thing that makes this special is the taro note. initially the taro note gave me glutenous sticky rice topped with roasted nuts vibes (very reminiscent of the taro note in taipei by one day). then it quickly evolved into a sweet and less complex, but very delightful and comforting, taro ice cream.

Unfortunately, all I get from this is overwhelming, salty popcorn. Briny even. I suspect it's how my nose processes the custard note. I love taro treats, so my hunt continues.

Not sure why this is rated this bad? It's better than the other Mochiglow fragrances to me. Smells exactly like a BBW candle at first then settl s down to a nutty scent
