oh my goodness. i don't know what i expected, but i did not expect for this to turn into my favorite perfume of all time. it's the perfect level of sweetness that isn't too cloying. a sophisticated buttercream vanilla. my mom immediately noticed and complimented me the first time i wore it. the most perfect gourmand and an absolute safe blind buy. i don't know how anyone could dislike this! scent development 🧸 opening/top notes & initial impression: the creamiest homemade vanilla whipped cream you have ever tried. think of the frosting put on top of cinnamon rolls, or a cold vanilla bean milkshake, or the mascarpone filling in between layers of tiramisu (don't worry, this has absolutely zero coffee notes). it's the most perfect buttercream, lactonic, milky vanilla. 🧸 middle notes: honestly, remains consistent. maybe a tad less sweet, but still perfect. 🧸 dry down/base notes: more of the tonka bean, caramel, and musk come through to make this fragrance refined and classy, but still playful and sweet. characteristics 🧸 season(s): every season. 🧸 occasion: everywhere. 🧸 time of day: any time. 🧸 versatility: yes. 🧸 unique: yes. 🧸 compliments (personally): yes, immediately. practicality 🧸 bottle/packaging design: so cute! pastel, glass bottle with minimal writing. the blue is the perfect shade. 🧸 ages i think this is best suited for: all ages 🧸 mood/vibe: sweet, gourmand, edible, classy, sophisticated, milky, lactonic, creamy, caramel, frosting, buttercream, whipped cream, youthful, bubbly, warm, comforting, timeless 🧸 repurchase/purchase if sample?: yes. i think i will repurchase this for the rest of my life. overall recommend?: YES. yes. yes. yes. x 1111

It honestly smells exactly as described! Very sweet and milky but the rice element makes it a bit more of a complex gourmand. Such a cozy straight forward smell and a good scent to layer with a more spicy or herbal perfume for depth. Definitely makes me nostalgic for white rabbit candies and hits the nail on the head.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the creamy vanilla scent, its very distinct and blends perfectly with the milk and rice notes! im usually not a big fan of lactonic based perfumes because of their off scent, but this is one of the very few I actually like. this is the real deal!

I LOVE this fragrance! This was a blind buy for me and I’m actually obsessed. To me it smells like a spicy marshmallow, super sweet with depth and very lactonic. I will be using this all fall and winter and will for sure buy another bottle once I run out!

delicious, creamy gourmand. starts off as a very sweet, lactonic vanilla, but its tempered by an almost woody note that hangs underneath. it really does smell very similar to the titular white rabbit candy. on me it usually lasts around 3 hours

This is soooo good I'm obsessed I adore it. It's not cloying as I was worried it'd be. It's milky and creamy and delicious and vanilla and lasts around 3-4 hours on me!!!! has a woody note underneath to balance it out. amazingggg

bought the old formulation from their Oopsie listing and it smells Exactly like the white rabbit candy- i can see if someone isn't used to the candy how it could smell like another vanilla-style sweet treat, or just a generic vanilla scent, though. however, imo it's actually very realistic to the candy. i'm a bit disappointed to find out they re-formulated it because of that, especially since this old formula has a stronger rice-note, something I've been looking for in my perfumes! however, the new formulation allegedly is more milkier, creamier, and heavier on the vanilla. i see why they reformulated it, since the rice note CAN make it come off as more powdery, esp if you're not used to the candy overall, really liked it, the first vanilla-y perfume i've bought for myself C:

Primarily a creamy/powdery vanilla scent with a starchy rice note. The starch does have it leaning into vanilla playdoh land a bit, but you might be able to trick your mind into accepting it as rice. It's pretty potent on initial spray, but after a minute, it's not very strong to me. I'll even offer that this isn't incredibly sweet either. It's sweeter than the majority of rice scents on the market, absolutely, but not as sweet as popular vanillas like Vaniglia. I like this, but I'm not sure that I'll keep it in my collection. Without any idea of what she was smelling, my mom recognized the scent as White Rabbit candies (I was obsessed with them as a kid, they were foreign to her) but I was less convinced.

to me, this doesnt smell like the candy at all, i was so dissapointed :( it does smell veery good though! its very sweet and vanilla-y without being warm/spicy which i love. it smells very similar to the white hot chocolate with sugar cookie syrup at starbucks which is also something i like becuase thats my fav drink in the winter lol. i can see why people wouldnt like it though because it is VERY strong, definitely not something you apply in public especially if youre in a small place. i really like it, i just wish it actually smelled like the candy.

A true gourmand, it smells milky and sweet. However, I can also detect that artificial note I notice in similar perfumes like Bianco Latte. I sold it because it didn’t smell good on me. Bubble Tea smells very similar in my opinion, but without that plasticky note.

imo this is what snif’s 2% wishes she was... creamy, not cloying, slightly starchy, and yummy sweetness. the caramel doesn’t overtake the other notes, nor is rice paper the only thing i can smell. seriously thinking ab buying a full size!!

Sweet sweet SWEET! Pure starchy vanilla. This is such a lovely, smooth, almost juvenile playful smell. And yes, it does smell like white rabbit candy. Perfect for layering!

Super sweet creamy white rice. Smells kind of like kheer. Fragrance is definitely for the young in mind. Overly sweet fragrances if not balanced by something else make me think this is what diabetic ketoacidosis smells like on the skin even though on breath it is supposed to be more fruity. Anyway I sometimes link sweet with either disease or decay so my tendency is to avoid. In small doses it is a lovely scent but I don't think I could do a whole day of this. Mochiglow is definitely perfect if you are say 13. Even a young twenty something could pull it off. Or the very young at heart. I however am a crabby old lady who is waiting to tell the kids to get off my lawn. And it just doesn't fit old shrew.

It starts off as a really heavy almost complex caramel with some noticeable rice notes and then it dries down to a caramel vanilla milkshake. When I met up with my friends after spraying it on they said I smelled like cake.

This is straight up artificial "birthday cake" scent. The one used in mass produced candles sold at TJMaxx that end up at goodwill. No complexity, nuance, sophistication, or uniqueness. It has an artificial butter note that is somewhat unpleasant. Too sweet for me, but would probably be a lot of people's thing. I wish it was more rice and paper. And more creamy note forward. But it's very salted caramel vanilla dominant. Fades to a sugar cookie type scent.

This is overly sweet cloying sweet vanilla with maybe a tiny whiff of rice. I find a lot of Mochiglow scents to be synthetic. Since I grew up eating white rabbit candy this perfume doesn’t remind me of the candy at all, it’s more like a sweetened condense milk. I find it a bit cloying. Longevity isn’t great either

I have the old packaging & i guess formula(?) for this scent. I havent tried it since they upped the price from $30 to $55, changed the packaging & i guess changed the formula (per the site). I am going to try once im finished with my bottle & i hope it didnt change much bc this scent is really good! I get a homemade rice crispie treat from this, it’s sweet, warm & gooey smelling with hints of a “roasted” scent to it. I do get asked if im wearing some super sweet cocoa butter when i wear this lol

this actually had a very similar vibe to sunday by arielle shoshana and taipei by one day, but without the complexity of either of those fragrances. i can mostly detect rice and musky woods. it's not too sweet or cloying, nor is it overly savory in way that makes it challenging (which is an issue i've had with other rice perfumes). it's a good, safe option for someone looking to dip their toes into approachable rice fragrances.

Less of a milky scent and more like a light vanilla frosting. It's not an overwhelming or heavy gourmand, instead it is like a cloud of candy and cake. I wish it leaned a bit more towards the lactonic notes but overall it is a safe blind buy!

This was the most disappointing to me. It sure what I was expecting but this smells like sweet cream, almost like condensed milk but not as heavy. There’s also something that give me a plastic or rubbery smell like dolls.

Very authentic! Smells just like the sweet. Definitely could be very nostalgic and take you back to your childhood. Very heavy on the milky caramel.
