Magique

I was one of the lucky ones to receive a 10ml rollerball from the giveaway, but I'd like to add that my review is nevertheless uninfluenced by the generosity of the house, since I thought it'd be fairest to write an honest review. That being said - I really adore Magique. I would describe it as a citrus-cedar centered fragrance, since those are the notes that stand out to me the most. However, it is also accompanied by something that smells to me like... Mint! I know it's not mentioned in the notes, but I really get this lovely fresh mint chord, which makes the fragrance less similar to lets say, Dior Addict 2, another citrus-cedar. The longer it sits on my skin, the more the sandalwood leaps through as well and all I can do is to specify it as a carefree yet complex fragrance. It's very unisex; a sparkly addition to anyone's wardrobe. PS: Staying power was great on my sweater, the citrusses stayed on there longer than on my skin. However on my skin the staying power was good as well (the woodiness lingered a long while).

Magique's mix of lemon, mint and cedar creates a very unique, natural accord. Especially the mint, and from me that is quite a compliment. Mint is probably my least favorite note. It never smells like the plant, but always like toothpaste. Not in this perfume! Here the mint is like crushed leaves mixed with lemon over cedar. It's refreshing to wear, and on these hot summer days that's a treat!
