I went to the Molinard HQ in Grasse. This is the one I had to pick a full bottle of. It's a curious one. "To a Bronzed Body"... I think the nose's brother has a habit of sunbathing? And it does have that "human skin but better" quality to it in the long run. Initially I get cinnamon and glazed pear along with some white rum - but not gourmand nor feminine. I think it has akigalawood to give it the airiness. There's some sexy and utterly masculine ambroxan in the base, but I don't get it every time. In fact I think this is very anosmic - it lasts really long, but sometimes seems to disappear only to come back much later - I often wake up smelling this on my skin from the evening before. And it smells plain fantastic. Unique, very versatile, all day, all year round. Would make for a great signature scent. Don't sleep on this. Or do, and let me have it.

This is an incredibly beautiful scent that's become my autumn signature fragrance. I discovered this on a vacation to Grasse this summer where I visited Molinard's headquarters & store and it is a showstopper! The heart of this fragrance is a well-blended woody, rum & amber essence. It dries down to a powdery wood scent that's quite pleasant. I'm a woman, but could see this working well for a man too. I find that the scent fades from my skin after ~3 hours but hangs onto clothing much longer (24+ hours). When I purchased the 90ml bottled it came with a travel rollerball, likely because re-application is needed for an all day scent. Overall, this is a strong 9.2/10 for me. It smells much more expensive than what it costs and is a perfect fall-winter day or night fragrance. Run don't walk to buy this one.

This is a major disappointment. I bllind bought it because the notes seemed great and I found it for a good price. I rarely blind buy and when I do I don't bat much better than .500. I should have known better. It smells very medicinal ... in a bad way. Maybe it is wonderful for some people, but not me. This is NOT BLIND BUY SAFE.

Medicinal in the best possible way. Love it. I can’t tell notes apart, can’t feel any strict leather, just an intoxicaring syrup i wish keep smell but don’t wanna project onto others as not necessarily pleasing
