Figue Eau de Parfum

As others have said- a green woody fig with softer sillage. I pick up a fair amount of lemon- a light sweet hint of it that seems to develop the musk a bit with my body chemistry. I find this an intriguing scent that would work well in all seasons in a warmer climate. I think it would layer well with D&G Light Blue if one were to want more lemon (or to add something fruity/woody to LB), or layer with Chanel No5 L'eau if a fizzy development were desired. If/when I try either of those, I'll add that info. EDITED: I have discovered that Figue is my absolute favorite bedtime fragrance. I LOVE how wonderfully COZY this fragrance is and how its longevity performs on fabric. My pajamas keep that cozy Figue scent for a couple days (I still spritz myself with it, though! It's the best!) Five stars for bedtime fragrance quality!! If you like the notes and are trying to find a fragrance that will wrap around you like a well-loved flannel shirt for a bedtime scent, Figue may be for you.

I am sorry, but I must contradict Dingleberries and say that MY experience of Figue is that it lasts slightly over 5 hours on my dry skin, if I apply unscented moisturiser first - and far longer on clothes, as I can smell it on them the following day (albeit very faintly). It is very strong when first sprayed, but does retract to a skin scent after a couple of hours. I'm not prone to lying about MY experience with a fragrance, and it may be that there are batch quality fluctuations. That aside, this is a beautifully fruity, sharp and intense fig scent which bears checking out if that's what dings your dong. This particular version - from Les Elements Collection, which appears to have been a limited edition - is discontinued, but Figue is available in LES ÉLÉMENTS EXCLUSIFS collection instead. I have this version and don't know whether longevity, sillage etc. is improved in the other version.

Beautiful, dry but juicy natural fig with a hint of sweetness. I'm on a fig fragrance binge and have Diptyque Philosykos EDT, ADP Fico di Amalfi, Hermes Jardin de Mediteranee, and Ferrari Noble Fig. They're all very different and good to great in their own way, but I keep coming back to Molinard Figue. It's calm and contemplative like Philosykos, but also bright and refreshing like Fico di Amalfi, while having a personality all it's own. The subdued but persistent lemon brightens things up and keeps it from becoming too introspective. I loved my first fig fragrance Fico, so ordered Figue and initially I thought it was ok, not great. It didn't have the super summery extroverted personality of Fico. But I began to appreciate it on it's own and now I've gone through half a bottle in a month and ordered a 2nd bottle. Absolutely beautiful. Scent: 10 / Sillage: 7 / Longevity: 7

This is a no nonsense, well orchestrated Fig perfume. I have several and this is a clean green, leaf with less wood, on me. I think it’s a safe blind buy for anyone who enjoys the fruit/green side of fig. Less so if you are a Gris Charnel wearer. This fragrance does not develop massively. For all of what it does not do, it is simply beautiful and fresh, lush. The only issue is longevity which I can’t complain too much about given the price point. I just need to remember to wear a neutral body lotion to help hold the fragrance. Great for spring/summer/autumn day or evening.

In the nineties there was a huge fig craze that somehow I never really got into. I'm slowing liking it more, particularly when it is more green. I love the fig leaf notes in Deja La Printemps by Oriza, and I've been hedging on getting a full bottle of Celine's Cologne Francaise. That's how I found this - I went on the discounters and just typed in Fig and this popped up. I bling bought both this and the Patchouli (which I really like too!). I love it - interesting, fresh, green, easy to wear but not pedestrian. And what a value for the money.

Walked into the Molinard boutique on Rue Saint-Honoré and had such a wonderful experience. My son knew that I would probably like the Figue Parfum as I'm a fan of Jardin de Kerylos by Pierre Guillaume. After one spray, I knew I would get it. The scent is very similar, but the Molinard has much better longevity, and at a fraction of the price. Plus, when the staff in the shop are so friendly, it would've been a shame to walk away empty handed! Now every time I wear this, I'm reminded of Paris while shrouded in a cloud of figgy goodness.

This is a gentle but nevertheless woody fig frag from the famous perfume house of Grasse. No need for Cedar, the dominant fig tree does the job. The fruity scent is controlled by the fig leaf & wood. No need for citrus (like in Ellena's Jardin en Mediterranée or ADP's Fico di Amalfi). Though this frag is less floral & powdery than Wasser's Promenade des Anglais, globally it's quite close to it, with the same longevity of 5-6 hours, but a more linear évolution to a lovely skin scent. A very nice and affordable frag for fig lovers only.

This is such a nice fragrance. It's sweet and comforting, but not too "in your face". It's great for the office and casual events. It doesn't have great longevity or sillage, but it smells good all the same. On my skin it disappears within the hour, but it lasts longer on my clothes. I bought it at a big discount, so I'm happy with my purchase. **UPDATE** I wore this with a body cream and the combination increased the longevity exponentially!! It lasted all day. Still close to the skin, but smelling great almost 12 hours later.

This is a transition from a green fig and fig leaves into a ripe sweet fig. Opening is green fig and citrusy flowers, that after a few minutes dry down into a creamy, semi sweet, gentle and delicate fig scent. Amazing for every day and every season. I would say it’s not for every man, so try it out first. In all honesty though, it’s so inn offensive , yet so unique, that most people would love, and for this price it’s just beyond great. 9/10 Fresh, creamy, delicate - in love.

This is a great blend, you can truly pick out each of the notes with green fruity fig and black currant being the most noticeable to me. The only issue is that this wears very light, but it’s cheap enough to overspray or just respray latter, this isn’t going to offend anyone. If you like the sound of the note pyramid definitely pick this up, it’s refreshing and I mean who doesn’t love a purple bottle. :)

Wonderful, fruity fig, but it's been done before many times. However I find Molinard's Figue stays very long on a warm weather, i got 8 hours and it's really a bargain considering the price of this perfume. Get this if you like freshie like DnG Light Blue, Versace Eros, Davidoff Cool Water, or Acqua di Gio, but you are getting tired of the same lemon configuration... Try this.

Gorgeous woody, green, fruity fig. Feels very modern. Barest hint of soap but that doesn't turn me off here, as it normally does. Occasional flashes of lemon. Unfortunately the lasting power is very limited, but because it's on the heavier side, that makes it more wearable for summer. A gorgeous scent if you don't mind reapplying.

This fragrance exceeded all expectations, given the low price point. I was expecting medium longevity but upon a first wearing, it's still projecting after 10 hours. The fig note is incredibly realistic. It strikes the perfect balance between woody, fruity/citrus and creamy. I can highly recommend.

That is a great find for me. Beautiful, natural fresh figue. Definitely unisex. The listed notes are correct and Mr. Nardin has managed to balance them well. Cedar is overwhelming in many scents' base - not in this case. Definite keeper for me and curious about other Molinard stuff.

Love this full bottle worthy treasure. I also have Nirmala, and both have a similar niche vibe. Also has some Miller Harris vibe with the GREEN notes. 112 in Las Vegas today, and this is still evident on my skin after 6 hours. Nice.

Quintessential fig scent. On the sweeter side, but with some greenness as well. Longevity is decent. A simple fragrance that is extremely enjoyable to this fig lover. Would recommend it highly if you can get your hands on a bottle!

Embodies every aspect of fig that I would want captured in a personal fragrance. Initial burst of sweetness quickly followed by lush green notes, then something distinctly spicy upon drydown. I love this.

YES YES YES! Fig(leave) galore, definitely unisex, a blast of fruity fresh woody goodness for many hours! And I got it at a bargain price. This is the 'big sister' of Feuille de Figuier by Roger & Gallet.

This was a blind buy, and I don't regret it one bit. The fig and lemon compliment each other well, and overall it's a nicely constructed fragrance. Daytime, spring and summer wear only.

Uplifting, happy, good quality ... and cheap! Holiday in a bottle. Less relaxed than Philosykos, but c ́mon... Move your ass, leave your towel, and jump into the pool. Whooohoooo!!!

This is very juicy, realistic black currant on me, I don't get fig at all. Sad because I love fig, but I really like this anyway so it's all good.

Big fan of fig fragrances. This is my favorite so far. Less earthy than Fico di Amalfi. Sweeter. And better performance. 7.9/10

The last reviewer inspired me to pitch in. With all due respect, no two frags with dominant fig could be further from each other. Philosykos by Diptyque being woody, metallic-milky, introspective and low-sugar whilst this one from Molinard is a sweet and sparkly floral number. Molinard has gone a bit off-piste here with jasmine addition, Its relatively tame, but it is there and grows a bit powdery over time. There will be unexpected delicious whiffs of lemon merengue, cassis and cotton candy adding some spring to your step throughout the wear. The heeled step that is. I don't see a guy wearing it- would be just a touch too much of a dance in the floral garden. Besides, AdP Fico di Amalfi, Hermes Un Jardin and many others are more unisex. No lack of choice there. Personally, I'm glad Molinard has chosen NOT to create an on-trend thoughtful fig that is busy being cool. Neither another freshie. Instead, it has gone out to organise a garden party in a way only a French house can. Sharing a jug of kir royal with all the friends. It's relatively original fig: chatty and dipsy, but still alludes a classic vibe. The complaints about longevity are valid though. Better to wear on clothes, and re-spritz every 2-3 h.

This fragrance changes over time. At first it was more citrusy and green and it was bit hard to wear as it overwhelmed me if I did more than 1-2 sprays which I did not expect from this light and fresh fragrance but there is some heavy undertone like some succulent earthy pulp. Now the fragrance has become more creamy and the pulp note more balanced. I still would not do more than 1-2 sprays as I find it quite strong even when sprayed on the body not the neck. Now I can see wearing this in fall and afternoon as well. For those considering buying take note it is sweeter and creamier then the notes let on so, especially for men, seeing how this is rated unisex, consider this is you are OK with sweet and creamy fragrances as the fragrance will most likely change after 1-2 years from green fresh citrus to sweet creamy fig pulp. Funny, the fragrance ripened just like a fig. Went from green and astringent to a soft ripe fig. Have to say they nailed the fig just right, now it really reminds me of the soft pink and juicy pulp.

This fragrance is just what it's name implies, it's a fig dominant fragrance with some green facets. I think that that the black currant is what gives the fig the sweeter juicy smell. Its a pretty dry scent. Is it niche quality? i think thats a bit of a stretch but its definitely a pleasant and nice smelling fragrance. The lemon to my nose is very subdued. The florals are not in your face at all, which to me is a good thing. On the dry down, the woods come forward and the fig takes a backseat but is definitely still there. Very unisex. Got a good deal on this tester, sub $40 and for that price, its worth it. Definitely way less challenging and more wearable than Molinard Cuir. This projection after the first 30 minutes is not strong, sillage is not big either. Longevity is average. This is more of an intimate scent, don't expect beast mode Fig unless you totally overspray.

This is good. I like it alot. I feel like it can potentially grow into a love for me. I need to wear it some more. This a creamy fig. Fig can sometimes go in that creamy coconut like direction. It's not a synthetic sunscreen creaminess though, which I'm thankful for. Sometimes I'm iffy on creamy scents because they can overpower the citrus and fruits but this is pretty well balanced. Florals could also be adding that creamy touch. The opening is fig accompanied by lemon and black currant. That fades and into the mid I pick up some leafy green elements. The dry down maintained the creamy fig. I know some guys may be scared of fruity and floral notes but this is perfectly unisex. This is a great quality fig. For the price this probably one of the best niche fig scents.

I rarely sample a fig scent I don't at least like, and this is no exception, although it's by no means a particular favourite. The opening is nice and promising; the fig is sweet and ripe here, and the cassis adds a touch of that green tart/sweetness that I love. Unfortunately, this phase doesn't last at all long, and what follows is much less impressive, at least to my nose. First of all the scent fades so quickly as to be hardly noticeable after an hour or so. And what's worse: what does remain is soon dominated by a particularly synthetic-smelling cedar note. Too bad, but at least I won't be tempted to add another bottle to my collection of fig scents. It's a real shame Molinard didn't keep the wonderful Fleur de Figuier in their range instead!

This is marketed towards women but I like fig so I blind bought it anyway. As a man, I dont feel that this is feminine. Unisex to me. Smells amazing! Fresh, green, juicy fig, and slightly floral but in a good way. Performance is abysmal on my skin. 1-2 hours and its completely gone. I would be disappointed if I payed retail price for this. I only paid $40 so I'm happy. I use it at night before bed and I gotta say, I will be getting my moneys worth using this as a sleeptime fragrance. Very soft and relaxing scent to promote healthy dreams!

Wow, I wasn't expecting much but this is a lovely fig fragrance. I smell sandalwood instead of cedar, and for some reason I'm picking up on other notes not listed: coconut and honey. Applied four hours ago and I can still smell it up. Sillage and projection is soft. I think I could pull this out over three seasons (Spring, Summer, Fall). If you like fig, give this a spin. Beautiful bottle too. Not super unique but I don't think every perfume needs to be. A lot of bang for your buck: I picked it up for a good price on Frangrencenet.

A perfect fragrance for a walk in the woods! So much cedar and greenery after the initial blast of Fig and lemon. I get only a hint of blackcurrant and floral note. Everyone of them enveloped in a veil of musk. A very well balanced fragrance, that more or less stays the same on my skin. There is not a lot of sweetness. I get a real freshness from it that is almost minty, but this could be the cedar. An excellent summer fragrance that I will try to layer with their Jasmin scent.

I grew up in Croatia, we had fig trees everywhere. Waking up in the morning in the summer, going barefoot straight to the garden and picking juicy figs off the tree that are warm from the morning sun...this smell takes me back to those mornings. It's a lovely clean and creamy fig, green and comforting. Very unisex, I actually prefer it on men and find it to be a very sexy scent.

The opening has a definite lemon and fig smell, but it doesn't last too long before turning into a really nice blend of cedar and fig. There is a bit of sweetness from the blackcurrant and jasmine, but it ends up smelling more like an actual fig tree to me. Unisex and seems fine for any weather, day or night. I could probably get away with wearing it to the office.

Fruity, woody fig. A surface spritz of lemon lends it tartness with the undertone of freshly picked flowers, a soft nondescript floral scent replete with green stems and leaves. Plain ol' cedar holds it down in the base. Moderate projection fades to skin over 2-3hr, longevity 5-6hr. A lively, likable fig fragrance.

Oh my! Blind bought based on notes and my love of fig. Huge success! It is a sweet, happy, and uplifting scent. I love the woodiness, sweetness, green notes, and fig. The lemon isn't sour instead it's balanced by sweetness and florals. I can see myself wearing this year round, but especially spring and summer. -

This is great Fig fragrance. Green, fresh, citrusy and fruity. Fig leaves and sweet fig fruit, also some musk and cedar. Great for summer days and nights. Longevity is around 6 hours. projection is average. This will be my everyday fragrance for hot days. refreshing and uplifting. Solid 8/10 for me.

A bright citrus opening and a woody cedar drydown bookend the central and key accord of light fig (partly crushed green leaves still attached) Easy wear and will suited to a summer evening, but oh so short lived and close wearing. Get it at discount and spray like the price you paid doesn't matter!

I love the bottle, it's weighty and quality. The brushed metal cap fits snug. Clean, spicy-woody, and fruity. It sticks to clothes better than skin. White linen summer scent. Great value at $35 USD.

A light, creamy fig fragrance. Could be warn all year round. Pretty linear and not very long lasting. Though it is a pleasant scent.

I love fig fragrances and had high hopes for this. But after a fairly fresh, citrussy opening, it completely disappears on me after about 20 seconds. This is the first time I've experienced this kind of sudden noseblindness. What I can smell, while I can smell it, is safe enough, but it looks like it's not meant to be.

all three top notes are very present and last a good few hours. Sweet, figgy cedar sticks around a day later. I don't catch the florals at all. I like it, but it's unexpectedly masculine on my and I don't think I'll buy another decant.

A very light citrus and clean musk. Do not detect any fig. Poor performance, both longevity and sillage. I like the house of Molinard, but this one is a hit and miss.

Fig with some citrus and woods. Lemony at the beginning, and more cedar towards the end. I had this scent and sold it. It is bascially a fig based scent with WAYY too much Iso-E super. The cedar/ sandalwood scent most are smelling is just Iso-E super. I'm getting really tired of smelling this everywhere, so I just couldn't handle it. There are plenty of better fig scents out there. Noble Fig and Jardin en Mediterranee are both great fig-based scents.

Very harsh & synthetic, especially in the opening. I was looking for a fig note that is more on the sweet side. Unfortunately, with this one all I get is a green unripe fig if at all. The lemon and black currant are quite dominant on me and I also get a lot of wood. I don't mind that it's definitely on the fresh side yet it all seems unbalanced, like it wasn't blended very well. Super masculine. Not for me.

I was very excited to try this, as fig and currant are two of my favorite notes, and I love them even more in combination. Unfortunately, this turns very soapy on me. Not even fig/currant soap either, but lemon soap. So sad!

For the price its an alright scent. On my skin the black currant is ver dominant the fig seems secondary.

Complete and total love. Figue starts with a sweet lemon and fig. As it dries down, it gets progressively more woody. It's never a dry wood, but the green, wet smell of a newly broken branch. The florals are light little whispers that provide contrast. This is categorized as a floral fruity, and that seems misleading. The floral is very, very much in the background. This fragrance has ridiculously long longevity, but not a huge dispersion. Twelve hours later it's still appreciable within a few feet. Of course, you need to love fig to love this one. If fig is your jam, then this one is great.
