Iris Eau de Parfum

I got Violette roll-on and got the Iris sample with it. Ended up liking Iris more. This is the kind of softness I was hoping for in the Violette fragrance but Violette turned out fresh and more green. This one is soft and elegant. Iris is blended really nicely here so it's not candy-powdery but is refined. I love Cedar so I think it's thanks to that note, it balances the sweetness of the flowers and makes it a creamy, warm composition. It smells different on paper than on the skin so don't get discouraged, because the paper will give you the kind of a vintage old lady Iris type of smell while it isn't like that at all on the skin. This is a really lovely, beautiful scent. I will have to get a full bottle now. You could try layering it with Violette if you want more of a violet scent.

This is better than expected. A complete blind buy. It opens with* iris and pink pepper. It quickly dries down into a smooth and creamy clean musk scent. I’ll come back and edit this once I can figure out what this reminds me of.

Wow this is delish! Sultry even. Due to this, even though it is sweet and powdery it is unisex, as it has this mature yet light sexy vibe. A real gem. Thank you Molinard!

This is so utterly delicious I will probably buy the full bottle. I blindly bought the travel size roll-on and I'm so glad I did. The iris and the pink pepper pair extremely well, creating a powdery yet sparkling scent with a beautiful musky drydown. It feels youthful, femenine and effortless. Lasting power and sillage are moderate, but I tested it at the gym and I was pleasantly surprised on how well it held, despite sweating profusely. Maybe it's not groundbreaking, but it's a very good scent that fits all my needs. I think it can be worn everywhere, from a job interview to a first date.

Quite pretty. Not groundbreaking, but very pretty. It is an iris fragrance with a touch of violette and pepper. It comes fresher and less woodier than Sonic Flower. Is bright and light, just a little powdery, without being heavy. It doesn't project much, but sits on the skin creating a clean and pretty bubble around you. Very ethereal, like a sheer veil on the skin. It is not a Sonic Flower or Fleur de Peau dupe, it has its own vibe and is worth to have it in your collection.

Wonderful. Breezy fresh iris with violet and rose, some fresh sweetness from pear - no lipstick or powder. Iris is often too dominant and lipsticky for me, but this is a fresh, bright blue iris. Funnily enough, for me this feels like a summer/day version of VC&A Moonlight Patchouli. I guess many think it leans feminine, but I could wear this, so unisex IMO. I get about 7 hours from it, of course a skin scent later on. Smells fantastic on clothes. 4.4 / 5, a great release.

This is the only perfume I bought while I was travelling in Grasse. The pink pepper and iris remind me of the notorious Glossier "You", which I finished the bottle quite recently and couldn't find myself to buy another one. Completely hideous packaging, but does the trick. If you're on the lookout for a fresh, breezy floral perfume that has some crispiness to it, this could be a good choice if you want something pretty cheap and easy.

This reminds me of the Lacoste Pour Femme in a way, almost like the base of Lacoste was taken and a few adjustments were made. Quite an elegant and understated perfume, non offensive yet chic.

It smells like Phlur Father Figure on me! I love it

The fragrance is nice. It opens a bit woody (like Glossier You, Musc K) and becomes more rooty / orris after a while. That's also the time when it is completely non-detectable anymore. The duration is not good, to say the least.

A fresh scent that highlights the various facets of iris: a little powdery, a little floral, a little green. Light and ozonic violet leaf with the pop of pink pepper give it a sort of restrained aggressiveness, a hard bite with soft teeth. Watery pear overtones and a woody base round it out. Soft projection for 2hr at best, longevity 6-8hr. For those who prefer the more floral and less makeup-py aspects of iris. I find it interesting but not the most aligned with my tastes (I like that other kind of iris scent) plus poorly performing. The rose is never terribly prominent, but it comes out a bit in the deep drydown.

I got this as a 10 ml twist-top spray decant with a perfume wholesaler, and I do indeed like it! The casmeran/musk combo is unmistakable -- it's such a mainstay with SOOO MANY iris / violet scents, and whilst I don't HATE it, it is a slight bit done to death. Aside from that, the gentle woodiness and floral elements really help make this a full-bodied, complex scent. I do like it, and I see how many others would too! I'll probs just stick to my 10 mls and use it sparingly -- not a 9 or 10 out of 10, but not far off...

I wish it had more iris instead of cedar and violet leaf, but it is not too bad and quite addictive. Sillage is low but longevity is decent. Restrained and quiet, but very elegant.
