Les Fleurs Jasmin

This morning I have been marveling at the simple beauty of Molinard JASMIN. Somehow it presents the perfect balance of creaminess, darkness, and gorgeous jasmine in all its natural beauty. Some jasmine perfumes are loud and obtrusive; some are too green or harsh; others are stinkily indolic to the point of exceeding my comfort zone. Molinard JASMIN, in contrast, is perfect. Nothing is sharp or strident or screechy in this composition. I love it. In fact, this may be my favorite jasmine soliflore! I cannot imagine that any true aficionado of jasmine would not fall immediately in love with this perfume. It is basically the opposite of designer chemical soup, but because it is made by a somewhat obscure, historical house--dating back more than a century and a half--people today are much more apt to don something by Parlux or Procter & Gamble! Ironic.

This is an impressive Soliflore. My bottle is a few years old. I still find it hard to comprehend that it is edt strength. It's as strong as Montale Jasmin Full but doesn't smell so obviously chemically. Jasmin Full gives me migraines but this does not. I have to handle florals with care as they can easily trigger migraines. This smells really true to the jasmine scent. I have two climbers in my gardens because I love the scent. Its heaven to smell when you walk through a summer garden at night. Good longevity and sillage. Quite beautiful.

part of my very perfume backbone. an essential. i love its magnetic quality and the heady, dazzling jasmin entering through my mind and advancing to the heart, less calming than moving.

On me it has a killer sillage.....I think it is the strongest among Le Fleurs Molinard series. Very beautiful and natural smelling jasmine....reminded me of Joy EDT right away.

A beautiful fresh watery jasmine almost has a lilac quality to it. Very beautiful for spring. Edit: 9/26/25 A kind friend here gave me what was left of her decant to try. I was going to save it for spring because it has such a lovely lilac quality to it but the decant is leaking just a tad so I will wear it tomorrow. Besides it still feels like summer here anyway. I have 2 blooms on one of my lilac bushes right now. This fragrance will fit right in with the weather and how I am feeling. I just don't feel like autumn fragrances right now..... Take me back to spring. I really enjoy this fragrance, these jasmines w/ the lilac quality to them.

Not my type. I was into jasmin perfumes for a while, using Aqua Alegoria Jasminora from Guerlain at the time. Molinard's perfume is a bit too citrus-acid for my taste. I wanted a gentle feminine smell. I think it's quite long lasting and imponent, not any woman can wear it, and rather classic than modern kind of smell. I passes it to my mother.

Jasmine minus the usual mothballs, with other florals to mellow it into a nice, lush white floral with some interest and depth. A touch tart, sweetly creamy, not overpowering. Sillage is minimal and it fades rather quickly. Almost gone in an hour. Too bad, it's pretty
