Mirea

Miréa is an interesting scent that falls into my top 5 favorites from Molinard. This fragrance opens with a plethora of juicy tart berries and citrus. The opening is exceptionally sour, but in a pleasant and refreshing way. As it dries down, the sweet toffee emerges and softens the sourness of the fruit, giving it a candy-like feel. The floral notes are not obvious in the fragrance. I couldn't detect them under the other notes...fruit and toffee dominated on my skin. This is a gourmand scent that smells very natural, and very beautiful. Very wearable too, especially in the summer, but also in the cooler months too. I find this has pretty good sillage and lasts 5-6 hours on my skin. Definitely worth a try for anyone who enjoys a tangy but sweet perfume.

If I read notes before testing Mirea I would have skipped it, but I didn't! Too many berries for me in the list. Instead the result on my skin is softly berrish with a good mix of floral notes that makes this scent wearable also for a non-fruity person like me. It is gourmand indeed, but not cloying at all! Iris keeps it quite kicking. Honestly I don't smell toffee. Anyway it was difficult to notice every feature in a perfume while walking around a room full of aromas! The staying power is average.

One of my first favourites I discovered in Grasse when I moved to Provence. It brings back the times I spent there, and this scent matched that perfectly... Light-heartedness and youthfulness... with that obligatory French touch of elegance and being different. The bottle I had in the early 2000s was different.

On me this vanished very quickly. I would recommend it for young women who like a mix of berries and vanilla. It's on the gourmand side. I gave my bottle away because it wasn't my kind of scent.

Really a pretty and sweet scent, very natural smelling, simply delicious, like a candy full of berries, Molinard didnt make it candy sweet, more like berryjuicy sweet!! longevity is nice, but my bottle turned bad quite fast!!
