Mure

I won this decant in a giveaway that the very kind member Akali held. I don't have any experience with the house of Molinard, and this entry was a pleasant surprise. I am a fan of blackberry to start with, and have a travel spray of L'Occitane's Mure et Musc. I also enjoy Trish McEvoy's Number 9 as well. It seems there are still too few Blackberry centered perfumes available on the market. Molinard's Musc is a transition between these two beauties, with a gentle whisp of the moss and woods of L'Occitane's, and a soft breeze of Number 9's powdery vanilla. For those note acquainted yet with the classics above, the blackberry here isn't syrupy, but it is sweet, like fresh peak of season ripe berries. There is also an herbalness involved, as if you've picked berries from the bush. Like others below noted, Mure is short-lived, although such a delight while it does last. It does require quite an overspray to truly appreciate this perfume, but if you encounter a good deal, don't hesitate to jump on it. I am glad to have this generous decant, I will soak up every bit!

I really like blackberries, powder and flowers. This has all of those. As mentioned in another review here, this is robust. The first notes on me are the amalfi lemon, blackberry and a tad of vanilla. The drydown is a lovely soft musk tempered with the berries and a little vanilla. The flowers add a nice counterpoint that lends this one dimension - those notes make this more than just a berry scent. I don't get a medicinal edge on this one and am curious what the chemistry is behind that. A real plus for me is the longevity (good). It has survived reformulation well.

Maybe I need to let this macerate for awhile because I sprayed it and can't smell it at all. I get the faint hint of blackberry but that's it. Such a bummer because I really was looking forward to it Edit: kinda reminds of an extremely light version of Signorina Mysterioso

This is so lovely...another beautiful creation from Molinard..I have yet to smell a stinky Molinard. The berries and the greenness is amazing! You wouldn't think those two would match. I am just so pleased to have this one... Happy Perfuming! ♥

This is a very muted blackberry fruit EDT , very subtle. In fact so subtle that it doesn't have any longevity - at least on my skin. This is when a full 100 ml bottle comes in handy for extra reapplying...Not worth the money to me though.

I like this frag a lot. On my skin I get blackberry, touch of citrus and some white flowers. No vanilla though. It smells delicious! But does not last long - about an hour on my skin. good thing I bought 100 ml :)

The top is all blackberry then quickly dries into a warm fruity scent tempered with rich vanilla and musk.

Molinard Mure came into my possession some years ago, and for some time it remained stuffed away at the back of my wardrobe half forgotten and unloved. Around a year and a half ago, (realising that Molinard Mure was one of the older scents in my collection), I thought I should start using it up. After the first few wearings I was not convinced, but the more times I wore it the more I came to love it. As someone that's not a huge fan of fruity florals, Molinard Mure ticks all the right boxes. The scent of blackberry is rather naturalistic on my skin. It's juicy but also quite green, smelling like the berry, the leaves and the stem combined. Molinard Mure is one of those versatile scents that can be worn almost all year round. I particularly enjoy wearing it during Spring and Autumn, and this is possibly the reason why I have nearly polished off a full 100ml bottle of Molinard's Mure over the years. The drydown is quite creamy and sweet, almost as if a touch of sugar has been thrown into the composition. The way Mure smells on my skin is to die for, and I have had multiple compliments since I started wearing it regularly. Mure is one of the reasons that Molinard is becoming one of my favourite perfume houses. Their scents are inexpensive yet unique and long lasting. I highly recommend tracking down a bottle of Mure or any Molinard scent for that matter.

I can't decide how I feel about this fragrance! I love the top notes. The bergamot really makes the scent sparkle. The heart is powdery, sweet, and has a medicinal note, which I find very remniscent of Lolita Lempicka - Fleur Defendue. This is where I'm not sure if the fragrance suits me. It works on my skin, so maybe I need to try it again in a different season to see how it changes. UPDATE: After testing Womanity and Fraaagola Saalaaata, I was finally able to determine that the unidentified powdery "medicinal" note is actually a very dominant note of SALT. Salted blackberries. Interesting, maybe bordering on bizarre. But now that I know what I am smelling, I find the fragrance refreshing and beachy. Longevity is mediocre, but this is the best salt fragrance I've found, so I don't mind.

This has soft top notes of citrus, and the blackberry comes out almost immediately. It's a nice robust blackberry not a sweet light one like L'artisan's mure et musc. However I don't think Im a big fan of blackberry perfumes, So i won't be buying this. It gets slightly powdery in the middle, and yes there is something oh so quietly medicinal, don't know what. It didn't last long though and then the drydown is a nice soft musky blackberry, very little vanilla. This would be nice if you like blackberry.

REminds me so much of fall.Halloween pumpkins,TUrkey on the table,falling leaves and picking blackberries off the fence arround our farm.sweet but tart.Not the kind of sweet as in most fumes.THe bergamot is like a burning candle scented with apple spice.The musky drydown is like a bright orange sunset at the end of the day.It just intensifies everything.Great for colder weather.NOn age specific.

I'm not usually a fan of blackberry scents because they all smell like chemical food flavour to my nose, but this one deserves a test. Blackberry is really the star here. All other notes are complimentary. It's a strong blackberry that knows its own! I didn't buy the EdT but I bought a soap with same scent and it's really a pleasure to wash with it!
