Vanille Fruitée

One of my nicest sent. Warm and gentle, nice and pretty. Works every time all over the year. Love it !!!

I don't get all of the notes listed here, but I really like it! To me it smells like sweet warm vanilla and a blend mandarin/tangarine with a touch of caramel. As for jasmine, orchid, & musk? Well not on my skin anyway. I don't get any of the patchouli glitteralex describes, but then again, chemistry. It reminds me of Lolita Lempicka L's dry down but better. Not nearly as sweet, with more vanilla. It could also be classified as a slightly sweeter less "orange" version of Kenzo 7:15am in Bali. I like like 7:15am & L so Vanille Fruitee is right up my alley. On my skin it stays the same from start to finish, which in this case is not at all boring. Long lasting, soft, warm, just the right amount of sillage. If your a fan of L's dry down and would like to skip the sugary introduction, try Vanille Fruitee.

The initial blast of Molinard Vanille Fruitée is not very pleasant: a sugary boozy fruity smell rushes into my nostrils. But once calmed down, the fruit elements seem almost non-existent. On me, Vanille Fruitée is dominated by a slightly smoky vanilla and caramel, with only a soupcon of peach. The fragrance doesn't evolve much throughout, just becomes more milky as the vanilla gradually takes over. The sillage is moderate and the longevity is around 7 hours. I find the first few hours of Vanille Fruitée quite sweet, verging on being cloying if overapplied. However, the vanilla drydown is very cozy and comforting. A relatively simple vanilla composition, but reasonably priced. For an occasional vanilla craving, Vanille Fruitéee could fit the bill.

This, to me, is really rich vanilla ice cream with a tiny dollop of strawberry sauce or a thick, smooth custard. It ́s simple, but delightful and could be used for layering with whatever that one thinks need a yummy, good quality dose of vanilla-caramel. It ́s also very soothing and never headache inducing.

I'm sad to leave a negative review, but I tried Molinard Vanille Fruitee on 2 separate occasions and I just couldn't get away with it. Lately I've been drawn to caramel/vanilla notes such as those in Prada Candy which is a new firm favourite and L de Lolita, so I thought this might be equally as good. After reading so many positive reviews about Vanille Fruitee, I blind bought it......Mistake! I found the initial boozy blast was permeated with a sickly fruity smell, which quickly dried down to an overwhelming vanilla. It actually made me feel so nauseous that I had to wash it off at work. I found the whole fragrance to smell very synthetic, cheap and not at all elegant. On a positive note, to those who might enjoy this fragrance, the silage seemed to be strong, and the lasting power too.......Even after I washed it off, it lingered on my clothes all day :-(
