And was making a trade with Lee99 and ask if I could get a decant of this, with the trade...And he said sure(Thanks Lee99). Man, I finally tried this fruit pie scent(Yes I said fruit pie)... This is a new staple in my top favorite fragrances... It's a Fruity, Foral(hence the floral notes aren't overpowering, just enough to be noticeable), Sweet gourmand(Amazing). I used four sprays...both wrist(One spray and then tap wrist together), the front of my neck, chest and on my shirt. Would I buy this again? Yes(Getting a full bottle)! Does this fragrance enter BEAST MODE, good, just okay or weak sauce at best? BEAST MODE!(Went to work & back, woke up got ready for work, showered... reached work and got a compliment from a co-worker "Yo what are you wearing, it smells really nice", thanks...But I didn't put anything on...yet...Very awkward) Took me a while to pick up the scent... and i was like, oh! not a fan of the start, at first spray I was speechless by what it reminded me of right off all I had in my mind was bathroom something in a bathroom then I realized what it is if you sprinkled vanilla over baby wipes you would know exactly what this smells like how ever I like the skin scent but that is no longer projecting :( so if you don't have kids you will not have to worry about it reminding you of changing diapers. how ever I doubt the opposite sex will find this sexy if they have kids or done alot of baby sitting but who knows the right lady that really wants a kid might find it sexy in some really weird way not trying to scare any one from this it is actually nice smelling but your warned of what it smells like! I love the bottle!!! it's such a beautiful color!! will be getting figue or cuir next UPDATE; I learned not to let this get on my clothing to avoid that babywipe smell!! and find it much nicer only on my skin!! actually coming to love this one very fast after giving it a chance, it also last a very long time on me, I did notice catching it's scent alot even though I thought it settled to a skin scent (so thats Awesome!!!) I still get it 2-3inches off my skin last I remember spraying my wrist yesterday and it is 7:00pm now!!! thats quite the staying power!!! on my skin it's not so babywipes! it's even a hint of smokey-ness but very lite and inoffensive!, think it's going to be a main stay!

The notes on this site are wrong, those from the 1998 version are still current according to the official Molinard website... And according to my nose, too. They are: Top - Bergamot, Carnation Heart - Raspberry, Heliotrope, Orchid Base - Vanilla Bean, White Musks, Benzoin Vanilla is, of course, the most important note here. Together with the benzoin it smells creamy and rich like caramel. Heliotrope adds a light layer of doll-skin powder. The raspberry note is delicious and multifaceted, one the one hand it's syrupy, but on the other it also smells like a fresh natural raspberry at a perfect state of ripeness. But what really makes me love this is the carnation. It's a realistic, sweet and powdery rendition of the flower, completely with the lightly slightly spice edge carnations have in real life, but without the strong clove that is often used in combination with carnation. This carnation is here to lend a charming vintage touch to an otherwise modern gourmand, and I find it quite special. The overall impression of the scent is soft, sweet and girly, very inviting and cozy. I don't associate this with a specific season, this could be a good allrounder scent. It's true to the name, but there's more to it. If they wanted to describe it fully, it should have been named "Vanille fruitée poudrée fleurie" - which obviously doesn't roll off the tongue quite as well.

Burnt firewood + vanilla + smoke + caramel + a tinge of something flowery and fruity Same great longevity and sillage as Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille for a fraction of the price, it's an almost identical twin with the stuffy wax note replaced by a realistic and persistent burnt firewood - like an updated and improved version of the vanilla powerhouse! My - almost - holy grail of a vanilla fragrance! It is more striking, assertive and masculine than Guerlain Spiritueuse Double, which smells like an almost too pretty and docile domestic goddess. This would be By The Fireplace with its chestnut replaced by vanilla. It precisely sealed up a smoking firewood vanilla shaped gaping hole in my collection, vigorously scratched that itch with a firm bandaid put on it. Price is exactly right for a body fragrance as opposed to a rare piece of art. Wow! Almost too good to be true. A perfume dream came true?

Even though I still need to test this perfume a little bit more, I would like to share my first impression with you. In all honesty, I haven ́t had a gourmand scent that good in a long time. :) It smells like vanilla cookies & caramel on the surface, but underneath I get this beautiful layer of something reminding me of a grape candy, with a hint of peach, too. Delicious fruity candies...It also reminds me of a syrup (but don ́t worry, you won ́t smell like a cough syrup for children, the note is very light) or something from my childhood, too. I can smell it around myself now. It ́s very delicious and very addictive. I am really happy I grabbed one of the last two bottles online. :) The scent is sweet but to me it ́s also interesting and not just "another of those sweet perfumes". To conclude, if you love sweets, this is something you may really like. :)

I blind bought this (I blind buy most of my perfumes because of where I live, and well Corona). The first spray smells funky..the fruitee part smells like cough syrup for sure as another reviewer said. But for me, that funky/syrupy smell subsides within 5-10 minutes revealing the most scrumptious vanilla/fruit combo. It’s sooo good-its so worth it to bear it out for that first 10 mins. As the day goes on and the fruit fades away, you are left with a gorgeous sweet caramel vanilla that still has decent silage at the 6 hour mark. And at the 10-12 hour mark you can still smell it faintly on your skin, and somewhat strong on your clothes! This perfume is just awesome. Buy it already. It’s on fragrancebuy.ca for pretty cheap.

This is extremely gourmand and sweet. It’s heavy on the vanilla and caramel although apparently caramel is not listed on the official site, my belief is that the benzoin with vanilla gives it that caramel smell. I remember when I got this around christmas last year, my boyfriend asked me if I just ate pandoro (italian sweet bread) an hour after I sprayed myself with this fragrance. I did not eat pandoro that day but I realised that it does indeed smell exactly like that. That’s also the reason I feel like this is more of a cold weather fragrance because it reminds me of christmas and the sweets we get to eat in europe at that time. The longetivity of this perfume is ok, you get around 4-5 hours of wear.

No fruitiness here I’m pleased to report. A gentle waft of creamy vanilla, not a lot of character but perfectly acceptable for every day wear. Becomes a skin scent sooner than I would prefer, and because it lacks sweetness it’s a fragrance I wouldn’t mind experiencing a little longer on my skin. I see the notes listed show sweetness as the main player, I don’t think that’s right. If you can pick this up from a discount site for a good price, it’s a winner.

Honestly loved it. Very sweet, feminine, delicious, smell like a sweet candy. It lasts incredibly well, specially for the price, the sillage is strong in my opinion, like around you might smell you. I didn't get grape, just sweet sweet vanilla, caramel, peach, and maybe osmanthus. Also wouldn't call it a summer fragrance, not at all, can be used all around tho. If you want a very sweet vanilla that's borderline edible, that's for you.

Purchased this online and untested. I already have Molinard Vanille and I really like it. This one is so nice. The vanille shines through and some sweet caramel notes and the fruity notes. Can't really describe it as well as other reviewers, but I will say it's a pleasure to wear from beginning to end. I will definitely purchase another bottle. And look forward to getting to more fragrances from Molinard

I blind bought this fragrance a few weeks ago and haven't stopped wearing it since. I love it! I wasn't sure about VF at first but something about it drew me in. To me its a cozy vanilla scent thats not too sweet. It has an incentsy vibe to it which kind of reminds of the smell of a nicely browned marshmallow. Caramel notes with fruit too. All good. Longevity is long lasting. Sillage moderate.

Went to a perfumery a month ago and spritzed this on a piece of paper. I bring it everywhere with me as all is left is a warm caramel scent. I'm addicted!! So I bought it online today and hopefully it gets here quickly so I can bathe in it

Simply can't get enough of this! Opens up with " exactly what it says on the tin"-Vanille Fruitee - so round, comforting and gourmand yummy , dry down is a perfect fruit cup cake, a warm boulangerie scent - Addictive!!!!

I blind bought this & it is now my favorite in my collection!! After the initial strong spritz, you’re left with a beautiful juicy warm sweet scent. Very very pleasant, feminine, & comforting. I love wearing this to bed

Delicious peach opening, dries down to a flowery caramel vanilla. Performance is great too.

What a nice discovery !! I like it, I really like it !! I'm even on the verge to love it (but to tell it I will have to test it as a spray in my neck (sample is a vial without spray so I could only dab it on my wrist). I need to say that the abovementioned notes are not correct. Here is its correct olfactive pyramid (from Molinard official website) : Head : Bergamot, Carnation Heart : Raspberry, Heliotrope, Orchid Base : Vanilla bean, White musk, Benzoin This scent is delicious : it has a saccharine note that I adore, which, in the opening, is almost a bit too Dragibus candy-like but soon settles down into a delicious saccharine vanilla. It is quite linear (by no means this is a disadvantage : I like it) : in the opening, orchid is a little bit detectable (but hopefully then vanishes to leave a scrumptious vanilla with sugared raspberry notes), bergamot also but a very tiny amount. Then comes the delightful vanilla with rapsberry, undisturbed notes, maybe just amped up by benzoin to give them roundness. There is no sharp notes : such a pleasure, just vanilla, saccharine and rapsberry. Félicitations à Molinard pour cette délicieuse vanille !! <3 Longevity is good : I let some scent flow from the vial on my wrist at 8 o' clock AM and it is currently 6Pm and I can still very distinctly smell the delicious scent on my wrist. Projection seems to be good also (my mother could smell it) but I have to spray it in my neck to determine it accurately. Molinard customer service is amazing : I wrote them and they sent me free samples (I still need to review "Vanille") from France to Belgium. The only negative point would be that the samples are sprays and very dfficult to open (I broke the very upper part of the "Vanille" one because I tried to take out the tap with my teeth because I tried in any possible way with my hands and nails but I couldn't open it. I fortunately managed to put everything into temporary place using aluminium. So please be careful). Edit : More than 24 hours after, this one still deliciously lingers on my wrist !! <3 And yes, it does has a delectable syrupy vibe. :-)

Pyramid according to Molinard: Top notes: Bergamot, carnation Heart notes: Raspberry, heliotrope, orchid Base notes: Vanilla bean, white musk, benzoin I'm troubled by the difference between the Fragrantica and Molinard pyramids. My first impression when spraying the juice on my skin was “fruity, exotic and sweet vanilla”. If vanilla and bergamot seem completely obvious to me, I don't know where this sensation of exotic perfume comes from as Molinard describes it as "oriental" (ah?). The ylang-ylang and apricot scent of osmanthus proposed here seem entirely reasonable to me. Anyway, this perfume was a mini crush and as its name suggests we are really on a fruity vanilla. We are promised an “unexpected, sparkling and delicious” fragrance and that’s exactly it. A pretty little treat, with a very pleasant vanilla, which joins my wishlist in a completely “unexpected” way. N.B: my impression is closer to the pyramid of the 98 bottle which speaks of “solar notes” and “sugar”. However, it was obviously the purple bottle that I was able to smell at the store. Not sure then that the pyramid given by Molinard is complete...

It smells pretty synthetic, but I like it. Luckily I just catch a hint of grape. That grape aroma can ruin a perfume for me. I don’t believe I’ve smelled a vanilla dominant perfume that smells like it so it is unique, but it does somewhat give me Zara Hypnotic Vanilla vibes with vanilla instead of almond. They both share vanilla, jasmine and caramel notes. These come out the most in V. Fruitee along with a hint of grape. I think I prefer Zara HV over this. Recently I sampled 4 vanilla perfumes that all smelled very similar including Lalique le Parfum and YSL Black Opium le Parfum so this was refreshing. I’m not sure if I would buy a full bottle, but may consider it. It reminds me of something, a candy or dessert, but can’t pin point it, maybe the cream filling in those Cadbury eggs or vanilla tootsie rolls so someday I may treat myself to a bottle.

Caramelised vanilla with an infusion of juicy peach on opening; a completely uncharacteristic perfume for me and an olfactory adventure into unexplored territory. A mist of gentle florals surge up through the toasted marshmallow after 10 minutes creating a quintessentially girly perfume I'd visualise as pink, flouncy and optimistically beaming. I developed serious interest in this as soon as the osmanthus emerged after 30 minutes, illuminating the caramelised-vanilla with it's deep-peach beauty, adding a grown-up note to the mix. There's a touch of grape along with the peach, but it's quite subtle and not clamouring for my attention. Hugely enjoyable! Distillation: the scent of comfort toasted marshmallow and peach creating good vibes

For some reason Vanille Fruitee is not fruity at all on me. I get just a hint of caramel and grapes in the beginning but then it quickly turns into the same linear Molinard Vanille, maybe slightly more caramel and a bit synthetic. It’s pleasant but disappears in 2 hours on me. I blind bought it and will keep it only to be my bed scent or to experiment with layering. Molinard’s Patchouli has eaten it up though. To me - once it gets to Vanille - it’s almost the same as Bare Vanilla body mist by Victoria’s Secret. I’d say that Bare Vanilla has better longevity and is cheaper. It also has a similar vibe to Orchidee Vanille by Van Cleef & Arpels. Orchidee Vanille is less synthetic and overally better blended though.

This is nice but odd. It doesn't smell at all of rose or lemon, yet for some reason it makes me think of eating turkish delight in a spa?! There's that rich sweetness that's slightly fruity,cand a strong clean eater note, note chlorine and not calone or whatever that blue note is that gets overused in water fragrances. Just, clean clear water and something sweet

A blast of nostalgia for childhood and summer hit me, this fragrance is the smell of vanilla ice cream with red fruit sauce on top. I don't get the peach or caramel, as much as this reminds me of raspberry and I must say I enjoy it. Although I'm not sure I want to smell like that. But it is pleasant and lasts well with decent projection, my skin likes it.

6.5/10 It smells exactly like a condensed milk. The scent is rich, dense, and tooth-achingly sweet. It's a perfect pick for those who look for a vanilla scent with milk undertones. I wore the perfume for a bit during winter, but I quickly got bored smelling similarly to Vanilla Cookie Yankee Candle. Where’s some feminine mystery?

Beautiful powdery vanilla with peach. It is quite sweet and the florals give it a tropical, almost sunscreen vibe but in a pleasant way. Overall balanced and well blended, nothing screechy or overpowering. It is not too loud so don't expect it to project a lot, and the price is acceptable.

Oddly the fruit and vanilla notes drown out the florals for the first hour, comes together for a short while and then it all fades away to a grape jam musky whisper. My gripe is that it's all so synthetic instead of full bodied and yet I don't hate it.

Very nice vanille so infinitely much better than any other vanille from, say, Comptoir Sud Pacifique. Vanille is definitely the center, but all around it there's a lovely combination of gourmand and exotic notes. A great scent for vanilla lover.

Delicious and mouthwatering ripe fruits :grapes, berries, peaches dipped in vanilla ice-cream. It's not complex or multi-layered, but smells soo good! A great gourmand, indeed. If you crave sweets in perfumery, give this one a try.

There is some similarity to Montale Sweet Vanilla, but this is more floral with weaker vanilla. I wish I could get the grape note others are describing.

I’m not going to do a super-detailed review of the Vanille Fruitée EdP. I have the 1998 EdT version and the reformulated 2015, i ended up selling the 2015 version as it’s just really boring compared to the 1998. The 1998 is actually a beautiful blend of Vanille and Miss Habanita; it takes you on a journey through a summer fruit orchard followed by a warm, comforting vanilla-heliotrope accord with an amber-benzoin-musk dry down. It’s very long lasting on me as well! The reformulation is an EdP and I thought it would be even stronger and last longer but nope, it’s much weaker than the 1998 EdT. It’s a very bland composition, and the vanilla accord isn’t as present as in the 1998 version. If you want a boring fragrance this is it. Very disappointing. I listed my bottle earlier today lol. If you like Miss Habanita and the dried summer fruit accords then you’re going to love the original Molinard Vanille Fruitée, there are still bottles to be had on the resale market (mainly testers, but they’re fine) I love the 1998 Vanille Fruitée a lot more than Miss Habanita in fact.

I really wanted to love this one but alas, it’s just not for me! Upon initial spray, I get the strong smell of alcohol, smoke, and plastic. Once it dries down it becomes a bit smoother and slightly sweeter, less smoky with more of the vanilla I was hoping for. That said, it never fully turns into the sweet, slightly fruity, caramel/vanilla fragrance I was hoping for. It remains a skin scent at best, which I don’t mind. I much prefer my Van Cleef & Arpels Orchidee Vanille. Molinard Vanille Fruitee is a “meh” from me, dawg.

I wish I hadn't blind bought this, first impression slightly sweet baby powder and play-doh. I will test it on skin for longer because I was hoping for a fruity vanilla :( I only got it because ppl were comparing it to sweet vanilla by Montale

Caramel w/ grape, and a mélange of sugary fruits. Not much else to add. A candle type of fragrance or something a young girl would like. It's not unpleasant but rather dull.

I am not one to write a review if I don't like a fragrance because it is subjective and I don't want to yuck anyone's yum, but there is something about this perfume that I don't get. I'm not picking up sweet, fruity, vanilla. My nose is picking up diaper wipes. Scented powdery wipes. It's not a bad scent, but it's not one I want to smell like. I waited after the initial spray to see if the scent would change any, but no. It's pretty linear on my skin. I'd say it's not a safe blind buy.

I’m in the minority, I’m not a fan. There’s an odd note in here and I can’t escape it. This pungent note is very strong in the opening but also persistent through the drydown. I pick up the odd note with a dose of vanilla and sweetness. Everything else forms a singular scent, I can’t distinguish the individual notes.

It should be called floral vanilla not fruitee vanilla. Ugh this smells bad, watery vanilla with floral undertones. So many beautiful vanillas out there, don’t want to waste time on this one.

Oooh I like this! It smells like a more alcohol-y lovechild of Montale’s Sweet Vanilla and Mancera’s Black Vanilla. At first spray, you will smell a tiny bit of alcohol but that’ll quickly settle and what you’re left with is a really sweet & fruity vanilla (like Montale Sweet Vanilla). In the dry down, it smells super similar to Mancera Black Vanilla (hard to describe, but that one’s like a sweet floral + caramely/chocolatey vanilla...teeny bit similar to Al Rehab Choco Musk). Like, this smells 90% similar to Black Vanilla. Really good value for money and has good performance too (if you spray more than 3x ☺️)

Honestly, I don't feel the carnation and that amazes me the most!!! How can I not feel exactly the carnation? Well, I take things as they are and move on. I have never encountered such a delicious fragrance. It's like a super refined vanilla cream with fragrant rosee grapes. It has powdery ethereal accords, fruity osmanthus nuances and floral undertones. PS He has a moderate sillage and I would like it to be more bold and strong. 💜💜💜💜

Looks like a lot of people don't agree that this is Orchidee Vanille in a cheaper version, but that's what I get. I adore Orchidee Vanille but it's expensive, so I dram out my decant only at bedtime when I want that comfort. Admittedly, Vanille Fruitee doens't start at all like OV, but the dry down is very much like it. The middle notes have a powdery milky vibe that makes me like it less than Orchide Vanille, just a touch, but it will be a good substitute if I run out of OV and can't afford the next installment. I also might have to try the plain Molinard Vanille a try.

I put off buying this for a few years as the reviews here were quite mixed. I was afraid it would be too similar to Mancera Black Vanille (it's not to my nose) or that it would be too fruity (peach and/or grape) or cough-syrup like (it's not). What I get from this, after the initial alcohol blast wears off, is vanilla chocolate wafts. A little powdery but not too much. I like it a lot and received quite a few compliments hours after I had put it on so it seems longevity and sillage are both good. Price was very good for this little gem from Molinard. Highly recommend.

I really don't get much fruitiness from this. The sprayer is brief/sputtering/not great. Then at first sniff there is a blast of alcohol and then it quickly dries down to a slightly powdery vanilla-caramel marshmallow scent. This absolutely reminds me of something and I just can’t put my finger on it. There is something plasticky in a nostalgic way and when I do figure it out I will Update! Really pleasant inoffensive fume that could be worn anytime anywhere... probably will be worn to bed and around the house or when I don’t want to stand out too much.

I just come across this one on the street on a blond lady dressed like right out of a 80s dance club... :) omg i simply crushed!! and couldn't help myself asking this lady who was quite in a hurry, what perfume that was! And she gave me this name... only thing i can say from my very brief exposure, it's definitely a 'doll scent' it remained me my childhood, a plastic doll smells like this, in a best way possible... i cannot wait to go a store to check properly... to see if it would smell that good on a bronzer skin tone rather than pale like hers :)

Starts out with a big alcohol blast that lasts around a minute or so, then the real scent emerges. It's a super sweet vanilla extract smell with a small hint of fruits far in the background that I find keep it from getting overly cloying. I still find it can be pretty cloying and thick, but the touch of fruitiness keeps it from going too overboard. I'd say it's moreso a heady and warm vanilla with a hint of nondescript fruitiness peeking around it. Very gourmand, more cake-like than super sugary sweet.

I was just going to order this, based on its very good reviews here, but then I noticed that the notes listed in fragrantica and those listed on Molinard's website differ greatly. So now I'm confused. I wanted caramel, but there's no caramel in Molinard's notes. Neither is there white peach or grapes. Molinard notes: Bergamot Rasberry Vanila Pod Carnation Heliotrope White Musk Orchid Benzoin Fragrantica's notes: vanilla caramel white peach orchid jasmine ylang-ylang grapes osmanthus citron

Although released in 2015, this smells just like the EdT Vanille Fruitee version, released in 1998 (just lasts longer, as an EdP should)...Very nice vanilla, and a descent price too. I am reminded of something from the 90s when I smell this one, but my youth was in the 90s, so I don't mind it at all! It's nice...not sure if I will order a FB to add to my vanilla collection, but it is definitely worth a try for those who like vanillas.

The listed notes and accords of this one are basically my ideal. So considering the price point, blind buying a full bottle was a no brainer for me. Reading the other reviews, and then testing the fragrance.. I thought I was missing something. But the cons apparently show that some others have had a smile at experience to me.. let this one macerate as long as possible. Smells super synthetic at first.

Not sure where the fresh comes from, as on me it is sticky, sweet, deep and intense. Mostly buttery caramel and vanilla, with some fruit running through. Slightly powdery too. Really creamy, beautiful yet subtle, just wraps you up in this sweet aura without screaming out hysterically 'notice me'. Nice, present and memorable. Monster silage and longevity.

Definately not a full review, but this makes me so happy. After hesitating to blind buy for over a year, I finally found a pretty perfect Cupcake doll scent from the 90s, so nostalgic and comforting. To me, it is quite similar to Montale's vanille absolu but with just a little added fruit, dries down to a really feminine vanilla and caramel.
