Platinum

One of my most favorite fragrances currently in my collection. The smell is intense and the sillage it leaves is just intoxicating. Whenever I spray this on myself I seriously cannot stop taking big whiffs. This fragrance smells very herbal but in a natural and fresh way; intense and completely unique. It is unlike anything I have smelled before, and definitely not for the average rookie. This scent exudes confidence since it so intense and unique. I feel like after people get used to the scent they will find this fragrance to be very enjoyable. In my experience the opening notes of this fragrance are very herb-like and fresh as if you stepped out of the shower and were immediately wafted and brushed with medicinal herbs. I believe it is the patchouli that is contributing to this herb-y essence that I love and it makes the fragrance feel fresh but in a unique way, unlike other fragrances that simply smell like after shave or shower gels. And while I love the intense herbal scent, the strong herbal scent mellows out rather quickly and blends in with the other floral notes present in the fragrance giving it a sophisticated smell and rich smell. I am surprised at how many fruity top notes are listed for this fragrance because truthfully I do not smell any of them except maybe the bitter citrus from the bergamot, which ends up complimenting the patchouli and floral scents nicely and adding to the freshness of the scent. The base notes of this fragrance push this fragrance to the top tiers for me because it adds an extra layer of complexity to the aroma of this fragrance. The top and middle notes of this do most of the heavy lifting when it comes to radiating outward which makes you think that the scent is fresh, clean and floral BUT it's when someone gets close and smells the fragrances from your skin that the base notes truly shine. When you smell this fragrance up close you finally get suddle notes of sweet vanilla, smoky moss and woody amberwood which completely transforms this fresh scent into a deep and rich aroma that just makes you want to keep taking deeper and deeper whiffs. I am telling you, this fragrance is a gem that no ones seems to have noticed yet, and it definitely gives off a mysterious and sophisticated aura. I would recommend this fragrance for cool sunny weather when it's daytime. It comes off as sophisticated so I would recommend pairing this fragrance with something classy like maybe some jewelry or a nice sweater/cardigan. It is the perfect daytime date fragrance since it can be dressed up or used casually. I imagine that whether if you wear casual clothing or an expensive tux this fragrance can do the job well. And since it is so unique it will definitely make you stand out.

While this may come across initially as another Aventus dupe, further investigating (and wearing) helps it emerge as more of a mashup between Aventus and...Coach Platinum. Putting the bottles side by side provides even more proof of this, as their design couldn't be more similar, except one being in the shape of a champagne bottle, few offerings are shinier. I did a grab and go with this today to go run a few errands. A cashier one register down, stopped in her tracks and said "I have to know; what cologne are you wearing?" You could slowly see the glazed-over look emerging and the struggle to grasp the answer I told her. Then I mentioned it's mostly a clone of Creed Aventus. That one she'd at least heard of, as her facial expression quickly changed from confusion to understanding while she nodded her head. The other cashier joined her in acknowledging her satisfaction with it as she stated it "smelled very good". I sit here about 8 hours after applying, still able to get whiffs of it off my clothes and still a faint bit of it off my skin. I think while there's more than a passing resemblance to Aventus, there's just enough to make it cross with Coach Platinum that make it somewhat interesting, if not unique. It's suitable for almost any time of day, and in any season, except maybe the hotter summer days. AND it's clearly able to get compliments, or at least it does for me. 9/10

Very elegant gentlements e.d.p. with great longevity and silage. I can imagine Sherlock Holmes or Dr.Watson using this one. This is definitely not unisex creation. Have no idea how and why it was labeled as for women as well. Too much masculine, typical pure gentlmens perfume , even brings some classic / vintage colognes vibes. Woody, herbal and geranium notes very well mixed with the rest. I'm not getting much of citrus, fruits ,specifically pineapple notes here. There's one more thing. This is 99% copy of "Notting Hill" by English Laundry brand!. The only difference that Molsheim's creation has impressive staying power and little bit more of pineapple freshness at the beginning, after that they're almost identical. No exactly dupe of Aventus Creed detected here :) ,for classic / vintage colognes fans.

I'd say the first review of aljr14 is really spot on. Fairly unique herbal freshness. Notes smell well blended so nothing really stands out. 4 sprays on my undershirt, 2 on each side. I like the whiffs I'm catching. A little spicy, fresh, herbal goodness. Perhaps a tiny bit sweet. Anyways, a fresh, patchouli, slightly spicy, slightly smokey, herbal concoction that smells quite nice and rich. I don't detect any florals really in here either. Perhaps some fresh linen style note. Pretty good hure lure for the price. Update: Yeah, I'm really digging this. Immediately jumped into my top three faves in my small but growing collection. Best blind buy I've done to date. A woman could wear this I guess but it definitely leans quite masculine. An hour since I wrote the first part of my review and I had to go spray a couple more on my undershirt. The opening is my favorite part, stays pretty linear after that. I can tell its no projection or longevity beast but its not abysmal either. Glad I bought two bottles though. It's just such a calming and alluring scent that smells so well blended. Fantastic frag for the price. Happy spraying fragheadz.

A nice fruity, woody, spicy, natural, casual fragrance that was nicely blended. This definitely have that gentleman aura to it. This doesn't smell unisex, macho manish, or young/juvenile. This cologne is an attention grabber, a panty dropper, & a crowd pleaser. Even if you don't receive any compliments. Believe me that women will stand more closer to you & look in your direction more. This smell similar to "Creed Aventus" but just a little. The longevity is pretty good. But I usually layer my cologne with essential oils to get the performance that I truly desire without having to keep overspraying. I would only reach for this. 1)Job/Office. 2)Running errands. 3)The gym. 4)Hanging with the fellas. 5)Hanging with women. 6)Daytime. 7)Happy Hour. 8)Attending a formal event. 9)Dressing casual or sophisticated. I wouldn't necessarily reach for this. 1)Fall/Winter. 2)Going clubbing/Partying atmosphere. 3)Nights/Evenings. 4)Outdoor activities. 5)Dressing vintage or sporty.
