Fiery Pink Pepper

This is a review of the Fiery Pink Pepper Pampering Oil, which looks as shown in the main picture (clear bottle with silver cap). I am new to the fragrance world, please pardon my lack of terminology. This was a Blind Buy purchase from the clearance section of my local bargain store. It was sealed and unopened. The royal seal from the Queen caught my eye, and it is made in England. I applied about 2 drops on my wrist, which I then pressed to my other wrist and behind my ears. The sillage of this light application went from strong to intimate, and it lasted 6 hrs. It smells DIVINE! This scent is what made me finally understand all the hype about fragrances, and it led me to this website! It has a light flowery/clean top note with a deeper warmth and spice. Based on how I wear this, the top notes fade after 30min-1hr, but the yummy warm spice base notes last for a long time. The base is unisex. It is warm and inviting, like being wrapped a favorite blanket next to a cozy fire. It has a wide range of application, from a relaxing walk in the park to hanging out with friends to a date night. For me, this can be cloying if too much is applied. Also, IMO, it may be too deep/spicy/inviting for some events. I personally would not wear this to work. But after work, it's perfect! Tl;dr: Pampering Oil has a warm spicy scent. Long lasting. Sillage is intimate to enormous, depending on how much is applied. I highly recommend it!

this perfume is just....cool. fiery, sure. but cool. i was once at a party with glorious, fabulous eccentric beautiful people, where at the end of the evening we congregated in the host's parlor (hi, you know who you are if you're reading this, i love you) full of her extraordinary fragrance collection. for the sake of conversation i pulled this bottle out of my bag to add it to the rotation of the bottles being discussed (i have a new model bottle, not the one photographed here), and on first spray everyone in the room said "WAIT what is THAT". turned out, on a hot july night, everyone wanted to smell of pink peppercorn. it's dry and airy, and will enhance one's personality rather than define it. no one at this party needed help in that regard. just damn cool.

Ok, so rather unusually for me, my review is at odds with pretty much all of the others - I LOVE... as in love, love, LOVE this fragrance!!! It is bold, potent, warm, spicy with a little fruit... I pick up all the notes, with the exception of patchoulli. It is a BIG fragrance.. I do recommend spraying in the air and walking through if you need it to be a little less loud. To be honest, I find pepper very attractive in fragrance anyway, but to me this has a feminine twist. It makes me so happy when I wear this, it gives me confidence when I'm feeling less strong. It sounds so stupid, but wearing this one just lifts me up. It is far from conventional, but if you like spicy this is an utterly fabulous statement fragrance.

Well, what a surprise. I purchased a travel size of this from eBay and wore it all day. This is an almost perfect clone of ELLE EDP by YSL - but not quite as deep or sharp. All day I was smelling my wrist and thinking, where have I smelt this before? And then it hit me! For that reason I may buy a bottle. This has basil and woods in equal measure, but I feel the clean patchouli combined with the citrus gives it that Elleesque burr x

To me, this is a more citrusy version of Gris Dior minus the rose. The tangerine and ginger makes it so refreshing and the pink pepper is very zingy and sparkly! The patchouli is similar to that of Gris Dior’s. I absolutely love it!

My goodness...this is SO GOOD!! It's fresh, invigorating, refreshing and zingy!! This is like that soda "SLICE" in a bottle...or Ginger Lemonade! Loving this!! UPDATE: Backup bottle bought with another incoming...

This is a spicy, well-blended, and refreshing scent, and definitely one for hot weather as it smells too sharp in the cooler months. The citrus blossoms more in the heat. I think this one leans unisex (I wonder if the pink bottle is leaning people towards saying it's feminine?) For an EDT, the longevity is good and about 4 hours on me with 2-3 sprays. Unfortunately, my husband hates this one on me and himself, so I'm parting ways (with the fragrance, not the husband :) ). But I will definitely consider getting the shower gel in this scent again.

Barely ranks but it does. Best combo of pink pepper and tangerine. Of course there’s rhe house’s favorite note: elemi. This smells pretty good, and more so interesting. Like what are you wearing? A but dressed up. More or less mature. This is certainly good, but just good.

First I was like nah. On paper this is 50 % totally my vibe and 50 % not my vibe. I love citrus + woody, but patchouli and elemi are not my favorites. However this has grown on me. I really like it.

I got the lotion as a gift and there was a travel size perfume with it, it's a bit out of my preferences ( I loooove pink pepper perfumes but the gourmand type ones) so this one is a bit mascular on me but the lotion is so different for some reason. Maybe it's the combination with the sweet cotton candy body wash I use that gives it a more mild and sweet undertone, you can definitely do wonders with it if you pair it correctly with a sweet soap and a body spray the longevity is out of this world

There is nothing fiery about Fiery Pink Pepper. It is a simple blend, unremarkable, but nicely done. It has a metallic freshness to it, is slightly sweet, not overly spicy, with a woods-y undertone. It's a pleasant, polite fragrance, easily unisex and well-suited to a spring or summer day.

I really dislike this on my skin. The opening is a mixture of sweet flower and citrus notes, but it’s too overpowering, reminding me on those perfumes from the nineties, that were guaranteed to cause a headache. Of course the pink pepper quickly dominates this perfume, with citrus and wooden notes on the background. The drydown is a fresh wood with citrus hints. Considering it’s EDT, it lasts on my skin for hours (it’s been 5 hours since I sprayed it and I still smell the dry down on my skin if I put my nose on my skin). I would not say this is a perfume for a woman, unless you like to smell like a clean shaved guy. In my opinion it’s more of a men’s fragrance.

As seems to be a trend with their fragrances, this is both light and "polished" - however, unlike the fragrances I've tried so far, this is slightly sharper and with a bit more of a "kick". This is a pepper fragrance so it's not too surprising, but it's something to keep in mind. Despite that, however, this is still quite transparent and inoffensive - very breezy, without much of a body behind it. I actually dislike this one - but take that with a grain of salt, as I tend to dislike an overabundance of pink pepper / patchouli in general, which this seems to lean on a little more. Given the grand total of 0 other reviews, though, hopefully I'll at least help someone. Starts with a blast of citrus and pepper, but the citrus quickly seems to fade to a supporting role to everything else - it adds some "juice" to the fragrance but I wouldn't say it's citrus heavy. Seems to turn slightly sour on me, like a stale spice cabinet - it's (very) light woods, edged with a certain amount of light pepper, but both of these are faint and feel slightly distant. The ginger, too, isn't present in any significant sense - here it's bloodless, a ghost of a ginger root that lived in a kitchen once. The patch then rears its head and adds a memory of dirt behind the whole thing, which is ironic considering this is primarily available as a bodywash. Edited to add: It's worth noting that both the booklet that came with the sample set and the Molton Brown website list "jasmine" as an additional heart note for this fragrance. It's not captured in the accords above, but there is something faintly florally about the whole thing - probably wouldn't have named jasmine specifically and it's not creamy/indolic by any means, but this one is marketed towards women and I'd say they've targeted that audience with good reason. Doesn't seem to project much - hopefully it won't last long, either.

I have this in the body oil. It's very unisex, leaning towards masculine. The combination of notes causes it to smell a bit like it has grapefruit in it, not tangerine and I also smell blackcurrant. Honesty, it's not a love for me. It's kind of basic, as if I had smelled this before somewhere. But!! While I'm not crazy about the scent, the oil it's self is wonderful. It sinks into the skin right away and does not leave my hands greasy.

Love shower gel and body lotion of this. Extremely pleasant. Unisex
