Lily & Magnolia Blossom Eau de Toilette

an impulse purchase i kinda regret. It smelled delicious and fresh, but the tea is surprisingly overpowering to me. The lily and magnolia took a backseat in this fragrance despite the name. Smelled like tea florals and not floral with tea. once it dried down, I can smell the bitterness from the tea accord, like the aftertaste of an english breakfast. Really beautiful scent, the kind you smell when you enter an expensive luxurious 5-star hotel lobby, but not the one i want myself to smell like. My brother loved it so much, unlike me, he is a fan of tea fragrances. I just felt a little bamboozled by the unexpected tea notes, which are stronger and more prominent than I expected. I love magnolia scents, but I hardly smell it here. The creamy, soft, soapy quality of magnolia did not have a chance to shine. Still well worth the try; just don't be fooled by what the name suggests, and always wait for the dry-down before purchase to avoid making the same mistake I did. I gifted my bottle to my brother, who will appreciate it more than i do.
