Orange & Bergamot Eau de Parfum

Have you ever tried a perfume that isn't exactly what you had hoped or wanted want it to be, but you recognize how good it is anyway? This is objectively, a great quality and surprisingly tenacious citrus floral. I really love the citruses, quality neroli and other components used in this perfume. Anyone complaining about about performance of this genre should try this because it balances longevity without smelling like synthetic chemicals. The only reason I don't upgrade from a travel spray to a full bottle is because of the ylang which I really don't want in my citrus fragrances based on my own personal taste. Still, it is objectively an outstanding perfume, and warrants a high score for it's ingredient quality and smooth seamless construction. Even though it leans fem from the ylang (my opinion), I'm still enjoy wearing it, and I'm thinking of purchasing for family members. ××××××××××××××××××××××××××× Scent 90/100 Performance 80/100 ×××××××××××××××××××××××××××

The perfect orange-citrus scent after Diptyque Eau Des Sens! Owned a vial through buying the EDT version and already planning to buy a full bottle. This is a pretty and well-rounded citrus that doesn't screech. Not exactly photorealistic citrus but it sits perfectly on my skin. Combined with its body lotion and boom! It projects even better. Treasuring this for spring and summer days

Molton Brown Orange & Bergamot EDP is a 2015 release and my first actual try on skin from this UK house that sells not only personal fragrance, but also bath & body products, and home fragrance like candles. It’s a fresh burst, as its name might suggest, of mixed citruses, not terribly tart, mostly cleanly citric with some of the fruity sweetness and ripeness a part of the equation. The note breakdown is more complex but I do get hints of resins and petitgrain as well as a woody, musky base. So while it’s surely citrus-heavy and citrus-dominant, it has some semblance of balance in terms of the other elements. I really enjoy it, though part of me still thinks that some might know what they’re getting I was prejudicially skeptical of its performance, given the two eponymous notes being citruses, but while it’s no Profumum Roma beast, it actually performs quite well. It’s reasonably dense on skin to start and doesn’t thin out much at all over the first few hours. Nor does it evolve much, not that that’s a problem when it’s as pleasant and agreeable as it is in the opening. This strikes me as a scent one can wear for 6-8 hours with satisfaction. The Orange & Bergamot collection includes a more modestly priced EDT (and a host of other product types), as well, but this EDP comes in one size, $160 for 100ml retail. I believe Molton Brown products are sold in other retailers in the US like Blue Mercury. It strikes me as a little expensive for what it is, creativity-wise, but at a lower price point, it might be a very workable but still-interesting-enough warm weather or casual scent. 7 out of 10

Clean, fresh with citruses, jasmin and a green touch! Performance is not great, is okish. I guess this is a good option for someone that loves the italian style colognes but to me it's fun but a bit boring!

This is a soft, calming and fresh beautiful scent. I wear it in the morning and the eau de parfum lasts all day .... a refined fragrance that gets me compliments every time !

smells exactly like their other orange bergamot products every so slightly too strong for me- will try edt to see if it's more chill lasts forever tho

Smells very good but seems to be a teeny bit feminine leaning. I have some Dr. Teals orange, sage and bergamot lotion that pairs well with this.

A refined, cultured mingling of citrus, floral & musky woods. Genteel, elegant, olfactory quiet luxury.

Pretty citrus-white floral fragrance revolving around a prominent neroli or orange blossom accord. A polite, clean and very easy to wear scent, to the point that I will gladly finish my sample. However, do not expect to find here something you have never smelled before. 7/10 Update: There is also a bubblegummy feeling, rendering the fragrance more feminine. Since I perceived this bubblegumm accord this fragrance lost its appeal and became all bubbaloo chewing gum for me. I find that pretty irritating. Downgrading to 6/10

Neroli with orange and bergamot. That's it. Those smell nice of course, but I don't find this to be a complex perfume: it's just some nice neroli with orange and bergamot. The thing is though, this is really quite long-lasting for a citrus.

It smells old lady and moth balls on me :( And this, considering I have and love my 12 bottles og orange blossom body soap. This orange blossom and bergamot mixture is just a bad combination.

It has an amazing orange peel note to it from up close, really authentic and beautiful, bitter but not too much. The neroli is elegant and not suffocating like I find it to be in many perfumes. The citric notes are beautifully done and my first impression was great , but I can't get over it smelling very familiar, as for me it is an olfactory journey straight to fancy home decor stores. Somehow they smelled like that some years ago in Europe, maybe they still do, of mixed higher priced home fragrances. And to me this smells strikingly similar.

Happened to read about this in an article about citrusy fresh bergamot scents and thought I’d try it. Well, I get a musky, sweet, resinous orange affair where the bergamot is far in the background, if there at all. Not getting any freshness at all and I could imagine this being quite cloying in heat and/or humidity. I’ll be curious to smell this on my lady (when the weather cools off) to see if my impression changes, as it’s not something I like on me at all.

This is very beautiful! Yes it's a bit bubblegum-ey in the mid but I love this very much and the dry down is beautifully elegant. It doesn't get sweeter in the dry down as 99% other citrus fragrances. Gets creamier and creamier. Smells rich and dense for a citrus fragrance. Will purchase!
