Vintage With Elderflower

Hello, I was a big fan of shower gel with this scent, just love-love especially in summer. Finally, I found the perfume and I can say it's one of the great smell I have. Not offensive, calm, just like elderflower tea. The perfume leaves clean tray, not very sweet, perfect for everyday use. I feel like it's great for all season, but fall would be more appropriate because I have association with elderflower blooming and fall. Regards

Clean and bright on the opening and eventually settling down into something a little like a brighter, drier, sweeter Encre noire. It’s very nice to wear, you have a nice little bubble of that fruity opening with 5 sprays for a few hours that is very noticeable, and never too sweet. Almost like a berry wine sort of quality. Personally for me I prefer the simpler, cleaner smell of Encre Noire, but this is still a very nice perfume. The bottle and packaging looks really cool as well. It does seem like each spray only puts out a small amount of liquid, so it seems like it’ll go a long way. It does seem very expensive at RRP, but you can find people selling it in various places for more reasonable prices.

Citrusy, fresh, youthful yet nostalgic. This scent reminds me of hair spray in the early 2000s. An easy reach for warmer weather. For the price not FB worthy in my opinion.

When I first smelled my Surrender to Chance sample of MB’s Vintage with Elderflower up close on the cavity of my elbow, the scent was familiar. Yet I couldn’t pinpoint the kissing cousin. The next time I wore this citrus forward EDT, I dabbled the juice on my chest. It hit me. I use to date this perfume except the bottle read CK One instead. Now, as I walked around on this unusually warm February day, Vintage with Elderflower felt dustier, a little warmer with more hints of sweetness pulsating infrequently than that unisex fragrance icon of the 90’s. It’s a smoother, sweeter, bubblier and more sophisticated CK One. It’s as if CK One is wearing half a ball gown and half a tuxedo, and not the usual jeans and tee or sundress and jean jacket. My wife likes it on me which is always a plus but I’m not sure I need or want an adult version of CK One. Do I want to dance at a formal with an old flame, a grown up flame with more eloquence and elegance? Do I say yes? Do I lead or follow? Or do I politely refuse? I have an unopened 100 ml bottle, discounted heavily at purchase, teetering on a seesaw of “keep” or “return”. I have a couple of more weeks to decide.

This is quite lovely. As per the Molton Brown style, it's quite light. It's sweeter than some of their other options, with, yes, a distinct elderflower overlay. Think elderflower tea or lemonade served in a spring garden. It's a white-sundress, carefree-day type of scent - and yes, it does smell like the shower gel!
