Captain Intense

شاید اکثریت هم نسلان من تا به حال با واژه ای بنام مولینکس برخورد نداشتند .یا اون دسته از کسانی که خیلی وارد جزئیات دنیای عطر شدند فقط خیلی گذرا اسمش رو شنیدند. ولی اگر از پدران و مادران یا نسل قبل از خودمون بپرسید حتی اگر خیلی اهل عطر بازی نبوده باشند. .بی شک با شنیدن اسم ویور و مولینکس آه میکشند. چند دهه قبل تو مارکت ایرانی قدرت نفوذ و فروش تو چنگال چند اسم و مارک بود. ویور مولینکس در کنار عطرهایی همچون دیوریزیمو و چارلی و عطرهای استی لودر یکه تازی میکرد. . باید بگم که حالا چند دهه از اون ماجرا گذشته و مارک مولینکس از خاطر یادها فراموش شد و حداقل در مارکت ایرانی جایگاهی نداشت تا اینکه چند سال پیش به رسم قدرت طلبی برخی از مارکها که از مارکهای قدیمی برای پیش بردن سود منفعت میبرند اقدام به خرید سهام مارکهای کم توان یا فراموش شده اما قدیمی میکنند. . این بار مارک بردوس که خودش هم مارک قدیمی نچندان مطرحی هست دندان تیز کرد برای تصاحب مولینکس. . از این ماجرا بگذریم که مثنوی هفتاد من است و تمومی نداره. . کپتین اینتنس یکی از آخرین تولیدات مولینکس تو لاین کپتین هست. این ادکلن هم مثل جد خودش (کپتین اصلی)از خانواده بویایی فوژه پیروی میکنه. . . کپتین اینتنس گرچه از اجزای تشکیل دهنده کلاسیک بهره برده ولی رایحه ای که ارائه میده کاملا مدرن و به روز هست .چیزی که جامعه امروز این کار رو میپسنده. . استارت کپتین اینتنس منو بشدت به یاد ادکلن دولچه گابانا پور ام انداخت. پر مایه. غنی .جدی. تصویری تلخ و تند و تاریک با منشا گیاهی. لاوندر ایفاگر نقش اصلی تو این کلون هست. از اول تا آخر بد اخلاق و اخمو و عبوس اما جذاب. با وجود اندک حس سیتروسی باز هم کمکی به تلطیف فضا نمیکنه. لاوندر و چرم با بن مایه تلخ و گزنده و نیمه کلاسیک و رسمی اصرار به همون فضای فوژه دارند. تو این ترکیبات و فضای تلخ پچولی هم نقش آفرینی میکنه. تا حدود یکساعت بعد با کم شدن حس تلخی . فضای نرم تری شکل میگیره که طبق لیست ترکیبات باید از برگ بنفشه باشه. حس مرطوب و تازه اما همچنان تلخ. . از اینجا به بعد حس فوژه تصویری لوکس و شیک به خودش میگیره. مثل یک جنتلمن باوقار و اتو کشیده و مرتب و موهای واکس خورده. . قلب این ادکلن رفته رفته شکل سارتوریال پنهالیگونز به خودش میگیره بدون اون حس سرد و افسرده و فلزیش البته هربال. اسپایسی . چرمی این حس تا پایان مرگ رایحه با کمرنگ شدن قدرت تو پخش بو و ماندگاری تقریبا پابرجاست. . تخریب رایحه اصلا نداره بلکه هر چه میگیره به بلوغ زیبای رایحه میرسه. من این کلون رو خیلی پسندیدم. باتل زیبا و مینیمال در کنار رایحه ای شیک و مردونه و نافذ. ایده ال برای آقایون خوشپوش با پوشش رسمی و بالای ۳۰سال. در مورد پرفورمنس به راحتی میشه بهش امتیاز خوبی داد. پخش بوی انفجاری در دقایق اول و خوب تا ساعتها. ماندگاری هم خیلی خوب بود و راحت از مرز 6ساعت روی پوست من تجاوز کرد . گرچه بعدش اسکین سنت میشه .ولی بازم رایحه ای خوش و با اصالتی از خودش به یادگار میگذاره.

I expected this to be a more woody, citric version of the original Captain. Instead, i got a very faint reminder of the original with an added anise-vanilla sweetness that radiates straight to my nostrils and lasts forever and a day. Not sure this is what i wanted, i bought this to remind me of decades ago, when the original Captain used to sit in my father's room and i used to 'steal' it from him whenever we went out for that zesty citric fragrance. This is very faintly reminded when checking my hands, very close to my nose after some minutes, then the citric/woody makes way to the sweet elements that last forever, sometimes a bit too long. I wore this today for work and I shouldn't have, as it's too strong. Seems to be more of an evening scent, even late night. Nevertheless, it's nice albeit a bit too sweet for my taste. Edited 5 months later: This is a fragrance that grows on you with the passing and wisdom of time. The Intense version is different from its plain sibling by being more bitter, less floral on the opening, a darker scent, probably more suited for autumn or winter time. It grows on you; the more you use it, the more you come to terms with it. I like it. It might be a bit too advanced for the current trends, one of those misunderstood geniuses that are not given recognition until way after they are dead. I like how I smell when I use it, i like how it lingers in your clothes when you wear them again the next day. Definitely, not a crowd pleaser. Wisdom of the crowd does not apply here, it's a special fragrance for special noses. I have one of those, have been told. Other people may say it's sh!t. They know nothing. Stay with your BdC or Dior's Sauvage or Gautier's Le Male or your 1Millions and all their respective flankers. Don't bother us. Don't bother. Don't.

Not your typical blue scent. This is dark, and deep. Nothing "sunny" or "sparkly" here. Lavender, Ginger and Violet are easy to pick individually here. Very well put together, this is a mature but modern scent...surprisingly good and great performance. Definetly a cheapie worth checking out as a night-time frag for the mid-seasons.

In 2015, Captain For Men was relaunched in Eau de Parfum concentration and, in 2017, it gained its first flanker, Captain Intense EDP For Men. Visually, almost nothing has changed, except for the word Intense on the front of the bottle and in the color red. But in terms of composition, the changes were more significant. The output got spicier notes, the body became hotter, and the base became more sensual. In this version, we have sour bergamot, ginger, and cardamom on top. Then, in the body, notes of lavender, violet leaves, and leather. Finally, the base brings notes of amber, vanilla, and tonka beans. Captain Intense EDP For Men touches the skin in a completely different way than its predecessor. A medicinal smell gives the first impact and is not very pleasant and can even spoil a possible sale. In other words, once again, we have an example of a fragrance that needs more time to be appreciated. Here, there is definitely no trace of a cardamom that is green and spicy at the same time. There is an excess of lavender that, somehow, got lost when blended with the bergamot. And the result I don't like! But, once you're aware of this accord on the way out, I guarantee it's worth waiting and giving this ambery fragrance a try. When the lavender loses strength and the body notes start to stand out, Captain Intense proves to be a great scent. The leather is not too dry or too rough and it blends in very well with the metallic tone of violet leaves. At this evolutionary stage, I don't see any trace of kinship with the previous version. Time passes and Captain Intense EDP For Men changes and becomes more sensual. Don't be scared by the vanilla note. Instead, think of a creamier and warmer base, which turned that violet accord into something more nocturnal, a little more intense. This is how the fragrance dries on the skin and gives it a more romantic tone, without necessarily having to be party-like and full of projection. After a few hours, if placed side by side, the fragrances show that the DNA is there and it is easier to see that the elegant and professional style from before remains, however, with a different appeal, more daring and suitable for those who want to escape after work, whether for happy hour or for a date with a girlfriend/boyfriend, for example. Still comparing, when we think in climatic terms, Captain Intense EDP For Men is less versatile than its predecessor. In a simplistic way, this would be the “almondy” version of Captain EDP For Men. On my skin, both performed very well, but this one seems to exude less. Captain Intense EDP For Men will certainly please lovers of violet leaves and tonka beans. If these notes appeal to you, try experimenting; otherwise, better stick with the previous version.
