Quartz Je T'aime

This is a completly perfect combo of Vani and Tangerine that makes any girls look and smells pretty of course. Calm, feminine, cute and easy to wear which makes it a perfect day scent. Lovely bottle and the color of the juice matchs what it brings to the nose. Nice!

Oui, je t'aime . ...moi non plus ...ok, so maybe that's kind of/like totally clickbait: as this perfume is actually not in any way a 'sexy' (Jane Birkin /Serge Gainsbourg kind of perfume) but more of a Doris Day/ Cole Porter "I love Paris in the Springtime" kind of fragrance. Romantic, flirtacious,light and feminine: quite innocent and youthful. A nearly bittersweet citrus (which reads to me as neroli rather than pure tangerine) and a soft, almost-but-not-quite-ambergris-salty-animalic-musk combine to make a pleasant (and affordable) scent for the young and young-at-heart.....However, all quips aside,I would really love to see Maison Berdoues do something totally radical with this house and its paradoxical, innovative history... (Irish and Anglo- Irish; British and Roman Catholic; cosmopolitan and rural; militaristic and peaceful; traditional and modern.... contradictory and cool...) not unlike Quartz itself....?

I bought this blind, only for the bottle and the juice colour. I thought I would not like it, due to the comparisons to Nina. Well, it is not like Nina at all, and I like it better than I thought. Nina is to me a cloying structureless conconction. This fragrance is complex, quite bitter and sharp. What it reminds me of is Ralph Lauren’s Romance, although bitter rather than acidic and less sharp. I find it quite interesting. It does also have a minty edge which I love. It is not a common scent. Unfortunately, the fragrance pink colour in my bottle is not as deep as the one in the picture, but paler.
