Le Solstice

Le Solstice is a true skin scent. Its projection is low, but its longevity is phenomenal. Even a day after wearing it, I occasionally catch whiffs of it on myself. My husband only caught the scent when he leaned in close, but I noticed him lingering to smell it for a long time. It remains largely unchanged; I could say it is a bit linear. But while linearity in a perfume normally feels cheap, in Le Solstice, it evokes nobility. Like an unchanging elegance. Quiet but never insignificant, it is the scent of the marble-smooth and water-transparent skin of a noble Roman princess, confident simply in the way she is. A remnant left to you from a faint dream. I do not have a signature scent. For me, there are the scents of dreams and memories. Whichever memory my mood is caught up in that day, or whichever dream I am clinging to, I wear the perfume that evokes it. This perfume is not my signature; it is the signature of that princess.

Oh wow this is beautiful! In three words: sweet iris and sandalwood. Somewhat similar to f*ing fabulous by tom ford or black nirvana, but honestly better quality (the scent is extremely refined and have a nice power too it while staying skin scent). I haven’t smelled other scents that it’s compared to here so can’t tell about them. It's feminine leaning but I for sure would like to smell this on a guy as well(this is more feminine because of the this powdery sweetness). Edit: This was a blind buy. Please don’t do that, I completely discourage blind buying. But honestly this is one of the most beautiful scents in my collection! So comforting, extremely smooth and non screechy skin scent. Sweet without being gourmand (quite frankly Im so tired from gourmands at this point), slightly powdery but not dusty or baby powder, more like fluffy blanket. And iris and sandalwood add a character to the scent. AMAZING!

I was dreaming about this fragrance since the first time I sprayed it on me at the store. Now it for sure is my signature scent. As mentioned below - smells like color Blue (maybe little blue/purple). It evokes spring foggy dusk moment. Soft powdery iris-musk combo, with little candy-sweet yet very fresh violet and touch of the smooth santal...so fluffy, clean, comforting yet still fresh scent, especially in the dry down. Though, in the opening, I smell fairly sharp carrot seeds notes - they are not listed but I believe they're there (combination of carrot seeds and iris is quite common). Reminds me a bit of Hungarian baths. There are days when I smell the carrot as very sharp and puts me a bit off, other days it's rather fresh carrot that goes away fast. Unisex for sure, but leaning more feminine to my nose. Longevity is bomb! Staying on my clothes until washed. Projection is okay, ideal for office fx.

I found this at Bloomingdale's and instantly fell in love. This fragrance is so unique and elegant. It's what I'd been searching forever! This became my favorite and signature scent. I'm not able to explain notes very well, but this smells like rich purple flowers with a slight woodiness to me, perfectly balanced. No sweetness or citrus that I can detect. I am usually peculiar about wearing certain scents in certain seasons, since where I live is hot and humid for 3/4 of the year, so I don't like to wear anything too warm or sweet during the really hot months because it makes me feel even more sticky as soon as I walk outside. This is the only fragrance I know that I feel goes with any season, any temperature, sunny or rainy. It is just that perfectly made. I have never smelled anything like it and so glad I came across this beauty!!

I was at a large department store yesterday and in the mood to be wooed, so I asked for "something special for an iris lover" and was offered to try Le Solstice Moncler. It was a warm and dry day and although the two sprays on the arm lasted for a good few hours, the scent remained rather linear from start to finish. It is a very pleasant, calming, and elegant scent with low to medium sillage. A universal non-offender that you could probably wear anywhere and everywhere, if it wasn't so easy to get bored with. In terms of composition, it is basically a variation to the Tears of Iris by Gucci, just tone down the sandalwood and replace the angelica with violet, and you'll get Le Soltice. Bottom line, if you like iris all-rounders like Tears of Iris or Infusion d'Iris, you'll like Le Solstice, but it won't be a novelty.

This is SPECTACULAR. Powdery and very slightly sweet to take the edge off the iris. Soft white musk. Very creamy sandalwood. This is absolutely lovely. It is literally 50/50 unisex to me. I would like to bathe in this stuff. Longevity and Projection are average. Sillage is above average. As a lover of both iris and violet fragrances, this is the best blind buy of my life. If you like iris, and you don't want something too bitter like Serge Lutens' Iris Silver Mist or too feminine and sweet like Miller Harris Violet Ida, this is a perfect, elegant, gorgeous and rich happy medium. Le Solstice is a 10/10 for me. I am very impressed with the Moncler Le Sommets Collection.

Beautiful scent. Sprayed it and was instantly hooked and had to get a bottle. Was debating between this and Haute Montagne. Got this fragrance because it was different from my other fragrance collection.It’s light and airy. This isn’t beast mode and disappears quickly when sprayed on my skin, but I can smell hints of it on clothes. I’ve been gravitating to this fragrance lately.I’m a teacher and my kiddos tell me I smell nice every time ( kids will randomly lay their heads on me when I’m sitting down). Even been spraying it on my bedding 😂. I’ve been obsessing over it. Sad people have been kind of sleeping on this Moncler collection.

This is one of my favourite iris scents in my collection. I have never even heard of Moncler and I am so happy that I took a chance and got this. Gorgeous iris sandalwood musk that is classy and elegant. It's clean and classy. You will feel put together with this stunning scent. This also lasts and has a gentle sillage. I think it will be stunning layered with any of the Nishane's Meant To Be Seen, Chanel Comete, Morrocan Oil Le Parfum, TF White Suede, Chanel Venise. It is also really affordable too Two big thumbs up from me. Soooo good.

I stumbled upon this beautiful while shopping at Bloomingdales and I knew I had to add it to my collection. I love the scent profile. It really is an elegant scent and is def signature scent worthy. The only problem is that it is a timid scent and is not beast mode enough for me. That said and for what it is worth, this scent is def worth getting your nose on and having in your collection. So refined and classy.

This is one of the most delicious iris and sandalwood fragrances I've ever smelled. Probably also the most masculine take on iris (yes, even more so than Dior Homme Parfum & Intense). Burst of powdery iris at first followed by the creamiest, most sensual sandalwood. The sexiness factor in this is next level good. Great longevity and projection is just enough to not overpower. BIG love!

I looove this. Such a cozy, clean, elegant scent. Definitely iris and sandalwood forward at first (I also get a suede-like note), dries down to a nice powdery vanilla (not listed as a note, but that's what I get from it). Better for the cold seasons. Leans more feminine, but my boyfriend occasionally steals it and I think it's totally wearable by men as well.

So cosy and relaxing like a hug at a beautiful sensual spa, worth the price tag 100% The Best Cosy, Creamy yet so sensual sandalwood fragrance I have ever tried. This is the one you wear when the weather is cold or gloomy and feel sexy under the sheets I can't wait to add this to my collection, obsessed!!

Sprayed this on my date this weekend on Saturday night. He was enamoured and smitten by this! And it's still apparently on his necklace (it's Tuesday!). This doesnt project like crazy but it creates a lovely scent bubble and lasts a really long time. And the scent... omg it's to dieeee for!

This is beautiful iris with the hint of something sharpy and leathery to my nose which is good, probably from violet leafs and sandalwood. On my skin is intimate sillage and low projection but that doesnt mean it should be rated low. It is beautiful powdery lipsticky fragrance.

mannnn I cant stop smelling this fragrance, I absolutely lovee itt, even before I go to sleep I go and smell this and it makes me feel good seriously lol, I just love it and I highly recomend it

I realy like this smell, because for me it is light musk suitable for every day, office frendly.The smell reminds me a fresh printed book or magazine (paper print).

Powdery, purple, elegant & soft spoken. I feel like it’d be a great fancy date night perfume! I’d buy a full size if the price point wasn’t so high.

It’s nice. I like it for a man. It’s got depth and a tad powdery over top. I as a woman wouldn’t wear it but for a man I love. Not because it isn’t unisex but because personally would like to smell this on a man. Okay edit : I’m growing to really really love this. It’s quite calming and beautiful. Defined full bottle worthy. Worn it about three times now and I like it more and more. Smells like a sensual smooth and moody deep blue color... feels mystical and like a flowing river at night. Adore it now.

This one is on the good side of this line On initial spray it smells of the make up iris scents very reminiscent of Dior Homme Intense And then the iris starts to fade away giving the stage for the main note the sandalwood It wraps up around you very softly but never too weak Just pleasantly present to remind you of it’s presence Performance was very good And it projects nicely My issue was that I’m mainly not a sandalwood guy So testing it was enough for me

Very powdery and nice. I don't get the whole "vintage makeup" feel but I understand why some may feel that way. Still pretty, though. That said, there's nothing about this composition that justifies a hefty price tag. It reminds me a lot of other soft powdery scents like This Is Her! Undressed. I have a bunch of the same scent profile and tbh this adds nothing new. Rea is much more polarising and imo interesting.

Ay! Que maravilla! Cuando lo espraye por primera vez me hizo recordar mucho a Gris Charmel de BDK. El secado es tan elegante. Tan de cercanía. En mi piel no se siente tan atacado. Se siente más como cálido y limpio. Esperaba más violeta pero casi ni se siente. Cómo amante de la violeta me hubiese gustado sentir más ese halo empolvado y aterciopelado .

Soft powdery floral woody musk built around a central note of Iris and violet leaf. As the central notes dries, one gets some sandalwood and synthetic musk. The slight feminine leaning scent has moderate projection and longevity. It is discreet and classy and can be worn unobtrusively. Enjoy!

At the start i was obsessed with the subtle powdery scent that it came with however, overall it dosent really perform the best on my skin and doesn't project as much as id like to.

I've been on the quest for the perfect scent for quite some time now, and I believe I've finally discovered it. This fragrance is wonderfully subtle yet continuously reveals a new layer hour by hour. Its longevity is impressive (2 sprays more than enough for office days), and while it gets many compliments, I wouldn't say it suits everyone's taste. Nevertheless, I love it!

Its like wearing simple iris fragrance on a knitted sweater briefly before taking it off to the washing machine to be cleaned with a generic detergant and blue bottle dawny comforter .. Le Solstice smells like that sweater at the end .. Iris naunces on warm laundery its inoffensive , clean and cuddly but very basic , honestly does not live up to the price tag

Very nice bottle. very nice smell, actually impressed by it, as an iris lover. Violet, iris, musk and sandalwood. It goes in the direction of "your skin, but better", just like Glossier. But the composition here is very subtle, yet present, but can be too fem for some guys. If you want your skin to smell like smooth iris and musk, go for it.

Well, I don't perceive the mentioned similarities, and although it doesn't sound like something completely new, it's still different in a very beautiful way. On my cold skin it leans more feminine than unisex with slightly pronounced accord of violet rather than iris. Exceptionally lasting one even though it stands close like an aura.

Powdery cosmetic violets with lots of sweetness underneath. It reminds me of violet fragrances from 00s - glamorous but still a little dated. For some reason I would imagine Stifler's Mom should smell like that hehe My ig: scent.guide

Sun-glistened icicles viewed from the snugness of your luxury wooden cabin in a chic ski-resort. Smooth, powdery iris hugs cool violet and buoyantly radiant musk. It’s sipping Champagne wearing fluffy slippers time!

I'm a man and I wear it with pleasure :) This is such a niche version of Prada L'Homme. It feels like the perfume is based on absolutes. Very airy and diffuse, plays with its pure notes.

Very Irisy and powdery. It is a lot like Prada L’Homme but made for women. It’s pretty nice. 7.5/10

The drydown is very similar to VCA Bois D'iris and Dior Bois D'Argent. Has that salty quality.

It has that nuance of santal 33 plus the strong note of wet cardboard box. A pass for me.

Start off too papery, drydown wayyyy to vegetal! I don't like this!😩
