Les Roches Noires

This is manly intoxicating fragrance. You will smell unique. I am surprised with the low rating. Not for blind buy though. Not for young audience or novices. It is appreciated more in the GCC than in white countries I guess.

This does remind me of Nuit d’Issey, it does start with a blast of black pepper and later on it fades away and labdanum kicks in and stays till the end. Overall it’s a nice release from Moncler. I do recommend it. 👍

Having in mind This is Him is one of my #10 fragrances this is what Zadig TIH EDP should be. This stuff is intoxicating. Wish if there was a little vanillic touch but this way is more versatile I guess.

Opens very peppery with a fantastic patchouli and geranium open. The mid to dry down becomes more woody with the slightest amber. There is a sweetness from the tonka beans but it's not dominant and only helps with not letting the fragrance get too dark and dry. Not listed, but I get a slight black tea note from this fragrance as well. Very unique and classy scent. Perfect for a black tie or similar formal event. Some enthusiasts may categorize this as a cold weather scent, but I think this can be worn in any weather, so long as it's for night time events. As much I love the smell of this fragrance, it disappoints in performance. I'm not one to complain about performance much, as every fragrance has its place, be it beast mode or light and airy. This fragrance however, gives the impression of a rich and bold fragrance, but the performance is awfully weak. I wish this fragrance was at least moderately good performing, but alas it's merely a skin scent after only 1 to 2 hours of wearing. Had it not been for the underwhelming performance and the ridiculous price tag, this fragrance would have been a love for me. But unfortunately it's a miss.

Pleasant ambery woody aromatic scent that smells natural and can easily be worn in many settings. The scent opens briefly with notes of lemon, black pepper and geranium before going into a dense labdanum heart and settles into powdery patchouli and tonka bean. The masculine leaning scent has moderate projection and good longevity. It’s nothing particularly new but it is a high quality easy reach wear. Enjoy!

Spicy and sweet. I got a almost boozy, rumlike vibe from this one. quite nice.

Leaning smokey leather scent with a hint of the lemon and black pepper. How this is listed as amber I don't get. It is relatively dry, leather hide with a smokey overtone to it, almost vetiver. Longevity is good so an ok to great buy depending on your appreciation for the scent. It isn't the warmest "hug me* scent. It's a little too "grandpa wears cowboy boots and is kind of an a**hole" vibe for me.

A redundant choice if you already have the vanilla based one from the same line I wasn’t expecting anything special from this line And to add to that the whole brand is most probably a cash grab I couldn’t find a single scent that was interesting in any way This line is the closest thing to mainstream fragrances Moncler is definitely not on my radar starting from today

I was expecting more from it. It smells quite artificial - lots of sharp amberwood and dusty spices. Don’t get me wrong, it smells modern and likable, but I just thought it won’t smell so generic. My ig: scent.guide

A cup of a Vanilla Latte, fresh cut Geranium leaves, ground Black Pepper and a resinous Patchoulli oil. Now mix it all in a bottle and surround yourself with a fluffly Moncler jacket: That's Les Roches Noire.

The patchouli here is very similar to Brezza Gentile by Brunello Cucinelli. However, this is milder and lacks the depth of Brunello. A pleasant fragrance, but unfortunately, its longevity is quite poor. 7/10

For me the Moncler brand overall is a statement piece...it is luxury. it is rich and sophisticated. With La Roches Noire I got a delicious hit of amber, a hint of chocolate and a bed of deep forest.

Très bonne qualité de parfum patchouli sombre fumé resemble un peu à myrrhe mystère bien pour l automne et l hiver très bon parfum 9/10

Spicy, woody, ambery, black peppery. A little bit smoky also. It reminds me a lot of Zadig & Voltaire This is Him.
