G Galaxolide Super

My nose definitely can not smell anything on this one. There is a hint of musk on the first spray but it evaporates immediately. I am almost certain that I got a bad batch or a fake one but I guess it's just not for me.

I'm really impressed with this fragrance. It lingers for nearly 24 hours but because it is a solitary scent molecule, it behaves differently than regular fragrances. It likes to play hide and seek and reappear when you least expect it. It isn't as fickle as a lot of other scent molecules, like iso E super. It still has a presence even when it is hiding. The actual smell is super beautiful and musky. It reminds me of Kiehl's musk but it doesn't take so long to settle into your skin. It almost immediately smells lived in which is what I love about it. Musk can sometimes be too intense for me on days, it usually takes around an hour or more to become the intoxicating scent I love. But Monoscent G is immediately cozy and comforting. I would definitely purchase a bottle of this, it is ideal for wearing it on its own and also for layering. I really recommend it to people who love uncomplicated cozy musks.

I wrote the company to get more information about this perfume. Was just reading that Galaxide is a threat to aquatic life and to people as well!! It is not biodegradable...and it can also disrupt the processes of the body. That is scary. I am looking forward to seeing what they say about it.

Absolutely beautiful simple musk. If you are in need of a cuddle you can’t get anything better than this or Dame Perfumery Musc Neutre. Both last forever as skin scents with DP Musc being a tad sweeter. Love both
