Almond

Almond is my first Monotheme fragrance. And I love it. Upon the first spray I was knocked by a very strong medicinal vibe that I wasnt expecting. It wasnt off putting, I liked it. Then my fragrance memory mind was activated.....Ive experienced this particular type of almond before..... .....Dior....that's it !!! Ive only had one Dior perfume before which was Hypnotic Poison. I gave it away but years later regretted it. Its pretty much exactly the same as Hypnotic or close to, and for a fraction of the price so Im happy. Longevity is about 2 hours on me. Nice for after a shower and just relaxing after a busy day. Its lovely.

A lovely linear fragrance that I purchased as a blind buy. I’m so glad I did as it smells so lovely and it goes beautifully with Monotheme‘s Vanilla although it’s perfectly acceptable on its own. Hubby tells me I always smell fresh when I wear this and I love how affordable it is so when I run out I’m not breaking the bank. Gorgeous vintage bottles and something I will continue to have in my perfume collection. An excellent perfume for summer and winter.

Such a beautiful, affordable perfume. I put it on in the morning then did some DIY work around the house and it really came alive in the heat. Absolutely recommend if you love warm scents.

Oddly, this is one of my favorite perfumes. It goes with everything and is great on its own, as well as a room/ linen/drawer spray. Simple yet rare linear almond.

Love it! I get almond and new plastic from it and slight vanilla undertones.

Wow its crazy how much this transforms on skin, when i first sprayed it i was like what the hell is this, a pungent chemical smell and i couldn't detect any almond. After 2 minutes it had completely transformed into a light powdery almond scent Half an hour later I was noticing the scent more and more wafting around me, seemed the vanilla had joined the party. It does remind me a little of HP and a few other HP dupes but this is definitely more of a powdery medicinal almond and there's not much sweetness to it. I think its great of you're into almond scents and I also think this would be great for layering!

She’s not complex but she’s sweet and uplifting. A comforting scent that hands down beats Lush’s almond fragrance. Nothing bitter and powdery here, thanks to the warming vanilla notes. Doesn’t smell cheap or expensive, just smells sort of natural on the skin (!?) A sweet treat for a low price!

I think this is a lovely fragrance, suitable for every day use. To me, it smells like a face cream but in the best way. For $15 Au, I would prefer to purchase this than a 'knock off' of a designer brand.

Straight up almond, best for layering with other fragrances when you want an almond under vibe... thumbs up here. For the price you can’t go wrong... bought a couple of bottles as I’m an almond fiend...

For AUD$25 (Or less on sale) it is a nice scent with nothing complex. It starts with this sweet almondy-vanilla and dies down to a sweet almond with a hint of floral.

This is a true almond scent. It's almost bitter and unfortunately don't detect any kind of vanilla to give it warmth. I blind bought this and I will keep it for layering for sure. It does not remind me of hypnotic poison.

Just picked this one up from Chemist Warehouse. Has definite Dior Hypnotic Poison Vibes!I was expecting (and hoping for!) the same creamy almond note that is in Elie Saab Girl of Now, instead it's the same type as HP or Missguided Babe Power. Not a fan, but I can see a lot of people liking it due to its similarities with the higher end perfume. Will update on longevity in a few hours. Lasted 9 hours on my skin. Was detectable to others for around 4 hours. Quite linear, doesn't really change from the first spray.

It is definitely not my favorite. Too sweet for me to wear. I have to combine with Monotheme Nymphaea to soothe the smell. I didn't expect it mix so well but it is nice when i layer Nymphaea with 3 shots. I will not buy it again.

Lots of ppl compare this with hypnotic poison. For me I can see the almond note (obviously), and the play dough-y feel, however this is wayyy sharp and synthetic smelling. Conclusion: if you’re looking for a cheap dupe for Dior HP, this is not it. But for the price this is not a bad fragrance, good for winter/fall layering.

Very strange that they few perfumes from Monotheme Venezia are not available. Never had this problem before. By the way in case anyone is interested , Chemist warehouse is located in Australia and it doesn't accept purchases from the United States. Bummer.

One of the worst perfumes I've personally smelt. Very sickening.
