Bergamotto

Monotheme fragrances have a special place in my heart, not only are they great value but they deliver the goods too. These orange bottle ones are not just one note, rather a perfect compliment to bring out the featured note. Here it's bergamot and a great representation it is, lovely fresh opening with a touch of woods and white florals, and even a tiny hint of vanilla in the drydown. This is not particularly long lasting, but you get a couple of hours of really well crafted fragrance.

I received this perfume as a gift from a friend and I simply loved it. It's my favorite everyday perfume. I wasn't familiar with the brand and I've never seen it in Ireland. I want to try other scents.

It's inexpensive and summery, doesn't last very long because it is made entirely of top note. But enjoyable all the same

This is my first Monotheme perfume. Not surprisingly for a perfume with one note and the name Bergamotto, it smells of Bergamot and pretty much only Bergamot. Is there a moment of florals in there? Not sure whether that's my imagination at work or not. I'd say it projects moderately for the first half hour or so and then settles to a skin scent. I find it lasts between 4 and 5 hours on me. It's a nice cologne and suitable for any time of day or year. It's a good refresher. I'd say it's reasonable value for its price and I rather like the bottle design. If you're looking for a Bergamot cologne with a little more complexity but with the same gentility and elegance, I'd suggest you try The Different Company's Bergamote which is a Jean-Claude Ellena creation. Simple bergamot. Lovely and fresh.

Amazing, fresh and bittery citrusy bergamot scent, no longevity whatsoever. Top notes, I get it. Still. Maybe on clothes you can catch a glimpse after a few hours, but that's all. I still like it, it's an instant mood-booster after taking a shower. Probably not gonna repurchase it, but inspired enough to look for something similar, but with better performance.

I bought the whole collection of the book of citrusses 4 months ago. Bergamotto was one of my absolute favourites of the book of citrusses collection. Bought 2 bottles last week. Reformulated beyond belief... Batchcode: 60127303 awesome! Newer batchcode: 60315302 terrible... Another one down the drain. Won't buy again.

Bergamotto. Bergamota. Bergamot. (Citrus bergamia) Good ol' bergamot, of Earl Grey fame, ...as well as the indisputably most popular citrus note in perfumery. Monotheme Venezia's Bergamotto is indeed a true solifruct of the note. There is no reason to do more than add unobtrusive fixatives to a decent serving of bergamot essential oil. Smelling it now on my wrist i am reminded how remarkably similar bergamot is to the bouquet of winter daphne (Daphne odora). Of course the reason for this is clear, both scents are rich in the aromachemical, linalool. So if anyone desires another simple, light cologne for their wardrobe, one with a most classically floral citric nature, do consider annointing yourself in nothing but essence of bergamot. Sometimes less is indeed more.

Bergamotto Monotheme Venezia offers an affordable and straightforward bergamot scent that is bright and slightly spicy. Despite its short longevity, it has a subtle presence ideal for personal use. It's value makes it a great choice for fresh summer fragrance seekers. It is similar to well-known bergamot colognes, providing familiarity for fans of this scent type.

The best two minutes of your life... Pleasantly perfumed. Mature, juicy and bitter zest of bergamot. Fresh, not sweet. I like keeping mine in the fridge and bathing in it after a shower. You feel clean. Oh so clean.

Top notes almost identical to 4711 classic cologne. Drydown interesting, unisex but quality scent. Doesn't last long.

It would be a good cheapie if it had at least like 30mins of longevity. Save your money and get something decent.

I saw one in Milano airport and bought it as a souvenir... thesmel is very fresh but very weak.

This perfume smells like a very cheap, plastic, sticky bergamot.
