Boccioli di Limone

This is honestly a surprise of the summer for me. I was searching for a light, refreshing, realistic citrus scent for this summer which would teleport me to Italy, nothing overcomplicated. I was originally planning to buy Fico di Amalfi or Mandarino di Sicilia from Acqua di Parma which I previously tried, but I was hesitant to spend so much for an EDT. And since this profile generally tends to be fleeting, I went on a hunt for a cheaper alternative. I stumbled upon this and found a good deal for 18EUR. And I am totally loving this. Obviously it is nothing complex, but the scent is happy, juicy, light and realistic. I am initially getting citrus peel and limoncello from the opening, then it becomes more sour, like cutting a fresh lemon open before drying down to greener, sweeter and more subtle. Bottle design is super cute, price is amazing and while performance is not amazing, it is still much better than above mentioned scents. It is a summer love for me!

Loving every moment (or should I say page?) in this book of citrus collection. I was immediately complemented by a stranger when I wore this and in fairness for a lemon citrus fragrance the silage trail on this thing is absolutely massive, at least for the first 30 mins or so...and even beyond that. It does have a sugary quality of lemon drops but always authentic at the same time, there's a fizziness a lightness of touch and depth but without any pissy petitgrain more a touch of delicate white flowers. Monotheme have yet again produced a high quality citrus here which I had no longevity issues with because Boccioli di Limone performed very reasonably indeed. Thumbs up from me, I prefer the orange one because it is just that good...however , this is worthy of even the most hardened enthusiasts wardrobe.

I was determined to spend 135 euros for the new fugazzi no cologne which was finally supposed to give a twist to all citrus fruits with its 30% essential oils, but I wasn't convinced for 2 reasons, the first because such an oily perfume in the summer didn't seem like a great idea to me and then the price... to use it only in August when I go to the beach... by chance from DM a German market I find this citrus collection series and I try them all. This is love at first sight. It's very strange who says it doesn't last... after 5 hours my mom asked me what perfume I had and after 2 arm washes it's still there. Can't wait to use it on the Amalfi coast, home of lemons! performance 8/10 perfume 9/10 brings joy, serenity and energy! w the summer! price 12.50 euros!

به محض اسپری انگار یک عالمه لیمو ترش رو جلوی بینی تون فشار میدن و قطرات آب لیمو و حتی حس تلخ و گازدار پوست لیمو هم به صورت تون برخورد می کنه مثل چلوندن لیمو ترش تو کاسه فالوده وسط تابستون لیمو ترش اینجا از اون لیمو های سبز و کوچولویی هست که بعضا به لیمو شیرازی هم معروفه و نسبت به اون لیمو ترش های درشت و زرد رنگ؛از نظر رایحه و طعم،چند سر و گردن بالا تره کم کم با فروکش کردن فضای مرکباتی؛مجال نمایش به گل ها می رسه که به همراه ترشی به مشام می رسه و رنگ و لعابی سفید و کمی صورتی داره بسیار تر و تازه است و حس شاداب و با طراوت ای داره به درد فول ور کردن بعد از استحمام می خوره یا استفاده توی محیط خونه؛چون پخش و ماندگاری بسیار محدود ای داره فوق العاده است *************** scent:10/10 longevity:4/10 sillage:3/10 purchase value:10/10 ********* overall:6.8/10

A lovely Citrus frag. Very sharp, acidic lemon in the beginning, it evolves being sweeter and brings to mind a lemon custard tart. Really has this sugary feel, like a sweet sherbet if you like. Reminds me of Chopard Lemon Dulci, although i much prefer this one for its outstanding longevity. Boccioli di Limone (meaning lemon buds/blossoms in Italian) has little to nothing of the flower but much of the fruit, especially the peel. I wear it often in the summer season for its refreshingly sensation, it's an instant pick me up. However, the longevity is nil. But for the bargain these fragrances are, overspraying and re-applying is not a problem. I recommend!

Monotheme is my recent accidental discovery and I immediately fell in love! The bottle design and fragrance concept is so similar to Aqua di Parma. As a fan of ADP and citrus, I immediately bought a few bottles from monotheme’s book of citrus collection. This one is indeed like lemon tart, with hint of floral. it smells less soapy and less complicated than monotheme’s Agrumi di Sicilia, slightly more feminine but still unisex. It opens with sharp lemon and dries down with creaminess. Gentle and beautiful, it smells way much more expensive than its price tag.

As a lemon freak I absolutely adore this. Lemon is my favorite scent....freshly slicing an actual lemon is the absolute best fragrance in the world to me. This smells straight up lemon plus sugar so it reminds me of the lemon flavoured Lifesaver's from back in the day (lolly/sweets/candy). I enjoy spraying this on myself after a shower or as refreshing room spray. The longevity is pretty dismal however so its only good for an instant pick me up.

I am obsessed with this fragrance. I got it as a gift for someone else and now I’m ordering myself a bottle. I’m curious about the other options in the collection too. As a citrus lover this is a dream come true. Electricity in a bottle, the first smell is a jolt to the senses. Like all citrus it is fleeting but the more herbaceous lemon blossom dry down is still pleasant, just not as strong. It’s also a steal and the bottle is so cute. 9.5/10

This is THE lemon fragrance 🍋💛 You get a... 1. Realistic, freshly sliced lemon 2. Sweet, but not too sweet, liqueur-like lemon (limoncello) 3. Sourish lemon peel 4. Bit of green/aromatic/gardenesque vibes since this has some lemon blossom which ties it beautifully together. And what a steal, this does not smell cheap at all and the bottle design looks like this could be pricier than it actually is!

Smells like tart, aromatic, bitter (green?) lemon. You get the lemon & lemon blossom, and it’s quite fresh and biting. I don’t get any woodiness in the dry down, thankfully, and it’s not muddled and complicated with unnecessary notes. I really like this one.

Very fresh and refreshing! No sweetness I would say. Don't fully agree that it smells like 'cleaning product' but could definitely see it as something spritzed in a hotel bathroom for example. Longevity is awful on me sadly but a little goes a long way. Good for layering as it's pretty pure lemon citrus! Uncomplicated spring / summer smell I don't often reach for but in the right mood (esp beach day!) it puts a nice lemony pep in my step. Great scent for the price! I think I snagged this for around 10€. Just wish it lasted longer, I feel like it disappears extremely quickly.

Really nice. Smells like lemon candies to me, i.e. lemon citrus but sweet. Very much like 'Strepsils Honey & Lemon Lozenges' sore throat candies, which is a bit odd, but nonetheless a very nice smell. Great for gym. Longevity is only ~1.5 hours though. 4-Month Maturation Update: This has become smoother, less dense, and less punchy. I preferred the punchiness of the lemon candies. It almost smells like it was slightly diluted. However, the new smoothness makes this smell much more expensive than it is.

Very zesty, almost bitter, citrus and greenery. Very realistic. Makes me think of Petitgrain in particular. Energetic and lively, fresh and clean. It lasts a couple hours before it's merely a close skin scent. At this stage it is much smoother, slightly soapy. Still reminds me of Petitgrain. VERY good deal for the price. High quality and cheap

The opening is similar to vervein l'occitane, after a while a minimal hint of floral appears that makes it more feminine but less sweet than l'occitane.Sillage is pretty weak, can't smell anything after 2 hours, it lasts much longer on a test paper though

Smells a bit more like mandarin to me. Its definitely not my favourite but for the price you can’t beat it. I would recommend L’Erbolarios Verbena if you want an even more realistic lemon

Smells a bit like cleaning product depending on your personal tastes, but it's hard to avoid that with a pure citrus. Longevity could be better.

Dupe for Under The Lemon Tree - Replica in my opinion. Very citrus and fresh. I just love it

If your expectations are that this will be a light cheap lemon one note scent then it’s great! It’s my first from this brand, and honestly I would buy others. These are often available for less than 15$ and perfectly fun. It’s one of the first scents I’m trying to layer honestly. Just dipping my toes into layering😁 but I might wear it alone too still testing it out!

The lemon really grabbed me so I bought it instantly, over the next few hours it started smelling like a toilet spray, so I likely won't wear it again. It also left black staining on my skin, which is so weird and has never happened with my other perfumes.

Oh dear. I usually love citrus but this seemed intensely like an alcohol-based lemon cleaning product. Improves as the alcohol evaporates and becomes a little musky. Still, not a winner for me.

You are right emiana, citrus ice-cream. And ines, of course it's a breath of fresh air one can use all the time. The first impression was that of being near a lemon plant and sniff its blossoms, really pleasant. A carefree summer fragrance which doesn't offend anyone.

What are y’all smelling?? This is straight up windex meets cologne. Absolutely not a way I want to smell. Why do I keep falling for this?!?!
