Extrait d'Iris

I adore this! What can be better than a combination of jasmine, iris, and violet? It also has a talc/powder scent to it (but it doesn't smell like baby powder). I want to note that, for all three of the Monotheme Venezia fragrances I've tried, I would say they are more like a body spray or body mist. I spray several sprays all over and also on my pillows at bedtime, and it just envelops me in a cloud that is so soft and comforting. I have their "Talc Douceur," too, but my bottle is almost empty and I haven't been able to find a replacement (so sad, as that is also such a lovely, soothing bedtime scent). And, finally, I also have their "Sweet Violet," and since I'm treasuring my last bit of "Talc Douceur," I like to alternate between the Violet and the Iris at bedtime right now (but I'm even using the Violet sparingly, too, because I haven't found a backup bottle of that anywhere, either. It's a very natural violet - not overly sweet or "candy-ish" - it actually reminds me of Penhaligon's Violetta, at a fraction of the cost). Anyway, the Extrait D'Iris is just wonderful and was such a great find for me (a blind buy that had a positively positive outcome! *smiles*), and I guarantee sweet dreams with this beautiful, soft, and comforting cloud of a scent from Monotheme Fine Fragrances Venezia. xo
