Honeysuckle

On my skin it smells akin to Le Temps de Reves by Annick Goutal but weaker. They're not the same but it's the fragrant that crossed my mind straight away after it settled a bit on my skin. Slightly soapy, very feminine.

To me, it does smell like a heady honeysuckle. I know this from smelling a Japanese honeysuckle that bloomed in the neighbourhood fairly recently. Honeyed lime blossom also comes to mind.

On me it’s a very delicate skin scent - smells like a classy lotion. Something you can wear to bed or spray in the morning before breakfast. Demands little.

As with most Monotheme perfumes I’ve tried, this one is soapy. I’ve no idea why they’d call this honeysuckle because that note is so drowned by the intensely strong and soapy orange blossom and jasmine. So disappointing since I ordered it specifically looking for a good honeysuckle. I don’t get Burberry London from this as there’s far more honeysuckle in that one and it’s way more syrupy. What I get is a hint of Pure Poison. Like a green and more bitter, citrusy Pure Poison, with all the soapyness but less of the creamy sweetness. Pure Poison eau fraiche sort of thing. Pure Poison scented hand soap or bathroom cleaner. This just sort of smells like most of the Monotheme’s in that come in the orange bottles. All of those were drowned by orange blossom, neroli or petitgrain so I got rid of them all. I should have know this one would be the same! Oh well, never mind!
