Tuberose

Uma tuberosa com a saída licorosa realmente, consigo sentir a nota cítrica de saída do petitgrain tímido, mais puxada pro cheiro de casca de laranja muito leve que caminha pra floralidade. A saída assusta um pouco mas é deliciosa, inclusive fico o tempo todo cheirando a tampinha do frasco pra senti-la, toda essa parte lembra muito o meu amado e nostálgico Today da Avon. Em italiano menciona a nota de coco e na parte escrita em inglês não, menciona essa tal de "maidens-tears" (???), inclusive, gostaria de sentir mais o coco (do contrário de muita gente que não curte essa nota rs), eu até sinto mas bem leve um cheiro de leite de coco (que me parece também equilibrar a baunilha); "Elegante e femmninile la composizione svela tutta la sua esclusività già nelle note di testa, dove l'esotico COCCO si completa grazie ai frizzanti tocchi di petitgrain. Nel cuore un bouquet di fiori bianchi, voluttuosi e raffinati, accompagna l'ingresso di una magnifica tuberosa, opulenta, ipnotica e seducente. Na minha pele não se comportou bombástico como imaginei que seria, o que me surpreendeu negativamente (a surpresa negativa também a respeito do borrifador), não entendi como aconteceu já que meu corpo é oleoso e quente. Enfim, a apresentação e a cor do líquido são belíssimas, em relação ao perfume em si, é uma composição minimalista, tendo em vista que as poucas notas conversam muito bem entre si, mas esse minimalismo não traduz apenas o simples, há uma elegância que carrega o termo. [ATUALIZAÇÃO] A nota de coco, baunilha e leite ficaram bem mais presentes na secagem pro final, sinto inclusive um cheiro daquele doce de coco caramelizado que vende em shopping e nas portas das estações de metrô, que é feito com o coco, açúcar e a própria água do coco, pois então, cheiro disso com flor, bem doce... chega a ser o limite de doce que consigo usar em perfume mas creio que pra quem é dos gourmand, isso aqui é suavíssimo. Então o final dele fica assim, por vezes sinto doce de coco caramelizado, por vezes sinto cheiro de leite com açúcar ou leite com flor branca, mas tudo delicado numa embalagem que traz um dulçor pra pele, um dulçor que parece que nasceu naturalmente dela.

Just received my bottle in the mail and oh my goodness, do I love it! It reminds me SO MUCH of one of my very favorite fragrances, White Shoulders. If you've ever smelled White Shoulders, this is almost exactly like it! My mom is going to love it! White Shoulders has been her signature scent since before I was born, in 1977, and she still loves it; though the new formula is but a shadow of what it used to be, it is still the most gorgeous white floral fragrance ever (despite it's terrible name). Anyway, Monotheme's Tuberose is so close to WS, it's scary! It's a beautifully feminine and addictive scent. I highly recommend if you're a fan of white flowers like gardenia or jasmine, or even yellow ylang. Tuberose has that wonderfully rich and sweet scent that one loves about white flowers. There's no powder, no metal, no salt, no woods, but it's not boring either. Amber. Amber gives it its depth; a deeply pregnant and soothing, warm depth, while the sweet, heavenly white flowers soar! There is a yummy creaminess that permeates from beginning to end and top to bottom, which isn't to sweet or cloying, but just right. Weirdly enough, I don't smell any coconut at all, not that I would mind, but its not there for my nose. Mainly, and of the utmost import, Tuberose doesn't smell cheap! I don't smell anything synthetic! That was a big worry. I would hate that! But, I don't smell anything like that here; nothing plastic, synthetic, or chemical, thank goodness. I am SO impressed! And the bottle is really pretty. I wish the cap were glass, but if that's my only complaint, I'd say it's a win! Definitely a safe blind buy for anyone who enjoys white flowers, I promise! Tuberose is a crowd pleaser that's inoffensive and can be worn anytime, anywhere. I may need a back-up bottle!

I have been curious about the Monotheme Venezia line for a long time, but could only find their rose and cyclamen scents online--but suddenly one fragrance site is carrying a LOT of their scents now. I was thrilled to find this very reasonable tuberose at such a affordable price and it does NOT disappoint! ( Read through this comment thread--not one negative so far!) Tuberose is not a floral that everyone can wear and love--with my pale dry skin, super sweet white florals have always worked on me--scents like Fracas and Guerlain's Jardin De Bagetelle just smelled magical and wore well for hours. This scent is also beautifully packaged and lasting but not pushy. I am NOT a fan of coconut in fragrances, but I frankly cannot even perceive it in this scent. This is a soft, beautifully romantic super girly fragrance--I am no longer a girl but I still love the way this scent makes me feel!! I plan to try Monotheme's Camellia next, since I have almost finished my Bronnley Camellia, which is now discontinued!

I didn't know Truth or Dare to know about the similarity, but I knew the Klauk dupe of Truth or Dare, and it was because of this dupe that I took a chance on this perfume, which claims to be very similar to Madonna's. And by comparing it to the Klauk one, they really are very similar. It's an amber and vanilla perfume, which gives a super enveloping sweetness to the fragrance, making it warm and sensual. You feel the tuberose at the beginning, but in a fresh way, because it comes along with the coconut and petitgram, so here it doesn't scream, but it envelops, and it becomes super comfortable. It's a somewhat fresh perfume, which as it evolves, becomes fuller and sweeter due to a fresh tuberose, a striking vanilla and the amber that embraces all the other notes, making it an almost creamy perfume. It's delicious, super tasty and striking. I found it to be a perfume with presence and very sexy. I loved it.

This low cost perfume is a must have for tuberose lovers like me: it is a rich tuberose, creamy, intense and narcotic, sweetened by coconut (which however does not distort its essence, on the contrary it enhances it even more), and last many hours. Perfect perfume for the cold and spring period, in summer I see it too opulent and heavy. I don’t find any similarities with Gucci Bloom (which I also love): of course, the raw material is the same (the tuberose, of course), but while in Bloom the tuberose is clear, luminous and delicate, in Monotheme the tuberose is, on the contrary, at the maximum of its intensity and creaminess. It reminds me, rather, the late Truth or Dare of Madonna, now unavailable only online at crazy prices. I love this perfume, very little expense and a lot of yield, in fact it is never missing in my collection: for me the best Monotheme (not to mention the packaging, wonderful)!

This is one of my top favorite fragrances! I love it so much! It is just what I think Marie Antoinette would wear! This scent makes me think of: pearls, lace, blush, pastel colours (specially pink probably due to the bottle), rose garden, girls in puberty and rococo. This perfume makes me feel like a princess blushing and wearing a lovely pastel pink dress full of lace in the beginning of 18th century. This perfume is sweet and buttery. It does remind bubble gum, but I don't like to describe it that way, sounds like it is a cheap perfume, but it is not. I cannot smell the coconut here, honestly. I can smell the tuberose and vanilla. It is perfect for teens, but also for young women. This perfume also reminds me of motherhood. It is very very feminine. I'd not say it is elegant because it is more for young women, so i'd describe it just as feminine and princess-like.

Years ago I went through a 50ml bottle of McQueen and I was very pleasantly surprised of how close it is to Tuberose Monotheme. Maybe not identical, but good 90% similar. Longevity on Tuberose is the same as the McQueen from what I remember and I managed to get it for about £15 from M&S. Would definitely recommend it as an alternative to McQueen, but I haven't tested the rest so can't say how similar it is to them. It is a very fresh Tuberose, I can't smell the coconut, or at least it is not the sweet synthetic kind and it becomes sweeter in the dry down, probably from the vanilla. It is definitely a fresh floral scent and not in any way heavy or sweet. It does make me feel elegant and put together and I think it could be a great day time signature scent.

The first time I discovered this perfume, it was love at first sniff! That was in 2019, and to this day, it's still my signature scent. Even my husband loves it so much that when he and I were long distance for a year, he begged me for a bottle so he could spray it on his sheets at night and imagine me next to him. This smells like the sunset bringing with it a lot of fancies, as it sensually embraces the horizon and paints the skies a captivating reddish-orange. It seductively invites you to an evening of passion and adventure---softly, sweetly and with plenty of mystery.

This is a fantastic dupe for Truth or Dare or Fracas at a fraction of the cost. Creamy, gourmand, decadent. Could be unisex. Loud upon first spray, whoosh straight up your nose, tuberose is heavy & overwhelming but in a good way, the dry down is heaven. Floral bomb! With a slightly foodie tinge. I am delighted with my purchase. I could buy 8 or 9 bottles for the price of one bottle of Fracas as 100ml Bottle of Robert Piguet Fracas cost £175.00. £19 in M & S! I cannot praise Monotheme Range Highly enough. Highly recommended. Don't just try it, buy it x 😘🙏❤️

This is a beautiful and affordable perfume considering the cost of its similar tuberose-centric cousins (Fracas, the now discontinued Truth or Dare, Carnal Flower). It's warm with a hint of coconut, but not too sweet. Some slight vanilla. A warm tuberose, gentle and in a generous sized bottle to use as a hair scent and over clothes. I honestly think this is a steal for the scent you get. If you like tuberose and want to alternate to something more expensive like Fracas, or don't want to invest in Fracas, this is a good dupe. The bottle is lovely too.

Oh I really adore this! I had spotted this Monotheme range in Marks & Spencer but thought it looked a bit bland. Silly me. I do love tuberose and you really do have to love it to get on board with this. Its fresh and blousy, creamy and warm. I don't really get any salt or coconut from it but they are in the blend (apparently). I love to have a few puffs of this after my evening shower, its comforting. Probably one of my best buys so far this year, got it on Notino for around £12 for 100ml which is incredible value.

As a general hater of tuberose, I am deeply thrilled by this scent - while it is actually tuberose-dominant! It smells both narcotic and grounding, like a premium quality natural oil that I would love to taste, and is likely poisonous. I am tempted to buy this scent, it feels so lush and spiritual... if only I could get through the fact that I deeply dislike tuberose. :') Update: Needless to say, I got it and I overspray it because I want to bathe in it, it's that good, it's really that decadently good.

I love Tom Ford Jasmine Rouge (my fav from TF but can't afford the price tag) and I also love Alexander McQueen, now sadly discontinued so I'm saving my bottle. While this is not an exact match, it's close enough for me to enjoy more regularly. I paid under £20 for this EDT from Marks and Spencer, and will be stocking up as this is a beautiful, heady, white floral that opens sharp and green and becomes sweet and soft. Longevity is great for the price and I get about 4+ from it.

I really do think this is a masterpiece. It’s a deep wintry gothic tuberose, sweet and creamy as many other reviewers describe it. Smells a lot like Steve McQueen pour femme EDP but whereas that one dries down into a light powdery scent, this tuberose note really does linger and lasts around 7 hours on my skin (not clothes, skin) which is pretty much unheard of for me! Got it for an absolute bargain price, and I love it, especially for evening/night-time.

I came here because of Truth or Dare. Wouldn't call it a dupe. Reminds me of Dalia by L'Erbolario but it does not have its wet, aquatic touch. I like the fragrance and the way it wears during the day. My skin is a bit dryish and yet it stays with me for hours. Feminine, flowery, a bit powdery, lady-like with a touch of careless elegance. A bit sweet, just to add warmth without turning the scent cosy or gourmand.

Astonishingly good tuberose for the price. It opens quite green and then becomes sweeter. Sillage is excellent and longevity is very good too. If you like tuberose or you want to test a tuberose and you don’t want to spend a lot of money this is an excellent choice.

Such an excellent fragrance for what it provides. An intense authentic fresh tuberose scent with a slight sweetness. The coconut - a note I do not like - never takes over nor makes it topical. Very good longevity and projection, and most importantly, a great price.

I love it. Maybe it's going to my favourites. It starts like a meadow of white flowers, very tuberose forward, after 20' you get coconut. So good. I do get a little of the bubble gummy of the tuberose (which I absolutely love!!!)

I do get the bubblegummy tuberose in this that I don’t get in Fracas or Juicy Couture. I even get a little spicyness. Really good price point for the great quality of the fragrance, which comes in an adorable bottle too.

Many people testing perfume with their noses ruined, and slandering this perfume, this masterpiece of the gods , pure niche TUBEROUS scent, you need to like the note and don't come and slander other people's perfume, oh!
