Vanilla Blossom

So, I found this at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, VA about a month ago when I took my son on a fun pass. I spritzed it, didn't think much about it, until on the way home I kept smelling my arm. I looked up the brand at home and couldn't find it for any cheaper than I did at Busch Gardens ($40). So, compared to my European sisters, it looks like I paid a little more but it is gorgeous! I went back to Busch Garden w/ my son today, went to "Little Italy" and spritzed some to think about it while we walked around. Upon first spritz, it was like a Bailey's Irish Creme smell and I thought-- maybe I don't need it. But as we walked around to shows and rides, it kept developing into a vanilla bean type smell that is intoxicating and warm-- not cheap and synthetic which is how most vanillas smell on me if they're not infused with a spice. I don't get powdery in this but I like powdery, so I own some heavy ones, that others might complain of. This stays pretty close to my skin and I can see wearing it in the evening (maybe adding some oud oil) or during the day to my job as a high school art teacher. When I thought about not getting it to save money (it's back to school time here), my 8 year old who loves it, convinced me by continuing to smell it, telling me I "deserved it". lol. It works great w/ my chemistry but I would consider this a safe blind buy as well.

I recently bought this at chemist warehouse for only 20 dollars Australian and this in my opinion is one of the best vanilla fragrances that I have tried in awhile,I am a massive fan of vanilla perfumes and this has to be one the the most well made and good quality vanilla perfumes out there,it is not that air freshener type vanilla nor is it super sweet but this really lovely natural type of vanilla with just the right amount of sweetness and a little bit of floral and spice to it aswell,it also has really great staying power and will last all day,the bottle is also beautiful and reminds me of the bottles they may have used in the 1920s but overall this is a great example of what a vanilla perfume should be and if you are a fan of vanilla you will love this perfume.

No la conocía, fui a comprar un regalo y la vendedora, con muy buen tino, me hizo probarla, me dijo:" te va a encantar" yo no soy muy amiga de la vainilla, así q pensé que no sería así... al principio sentí una vainilla rica pero nada especial, luego comencé a sentir una orquídea exquisita en mi piel, combinaba con la vainilla y otras notas que fueron apareciendo pero nunca dejó de ser la reina! Que fragancia envolvente y exquisita se convirtió en mi piel, dulce como la vainilla, fresca por algunas notas frutales y brillante y sutil como la orquídea! Me cautivó, terminé de hacer las compras, varias horas después, y la sigo sintiendo! Excelente duración. Ahora tengo que ir a comprarla! 😁 Puede no resultar para las que buscan una vainilla pura!

This is such a light, beautiful scent! For an EDT, it also has remarkable longevity on me. I was still smelling whiffs of it 12 hours after putting it on. It actually reminds me of Van Cleef & Arpels Orchidee Vanille. I smelled them side by side and the scents aren't exactly the same, but still quite similar. Vanilla Blossom is like the lighter, softer, less complex day version, while Orchidee Vanille is the darker, fuller, stronger night version of the same scent. If you wanted a version that's more appropriate for office wear, Vanilla Blossom is it. It's gorgeous, and wears very close to the skin, so somebody has to be standing right beside you to smell it. I got so many compliments on it yesterday.

This vanilla was such a pleasant surprise - smells much more expensive than it costs. Very good value for a generously sized, nice, vintage-look bottle. At first spray it’s a bit syrupy sweet and “too vanilla”, but the sweetness quickly settles giving way to a soft, subtle, true vanilla with a sultry and smoky quality. Not too sweet for me at all (and I am not a fan of sweet things). I love to wear this on a cool night at home, and it’s often my wear-to-bed fragrance. I’ve also layered it with some other scents for some really delightful results and will continue to experiment with this.

This fragrance garnered two lovely compliments from complete strangers, a year apart, in the same shop that I barely ever visit. Weird coincidence. I usually think of it as a filler fragrance, one I wear when I can't decide what to wear, but actually that doesn't do it justice. It's actually a very lovely vanilla, light, slightly powdery, slightly floral, and rather angelic. And come to think of it, it does have more than a touch of Orchidée Vanille by VC&A. It's an elegant and lovely vanilla, but not a gourmand one. Inexpensive but good quality. Lovely vintage style bottle too.

This fragrance depends on skin chemistry. It was sold for 13 Euros at TK Maxx so I didn't hesitate to buy it despite not being a vanilla fan. I sprayed it on my and my sister's wrist and the outcome is very different. On her this fragrance has a light, airy vanilla smell with a hint of floral and coco. Whilst on me it's dry vanilla, powdery-smoky which I find seductive. Either way they're both creamy but not cloying. I think my sister can pull this fragrant off during the summer days while I'd rather use it during colder weather. I'm so glad I blind bought this piece of gem!

I tried this in M&S today. Really nice. Such a shame it is only edt strength. To be fair it does hang around for a good few hours as a skin scent. It's a vanilla floral. No surprise there is vanilla and orchid notes present. There is something a little green and sappy. It's vanilla but with a floral leaning. A natural, smooth creamy sweetness. It kinda makes me think of white chocolate. A great cheapie that smells so natural and sophisticated. Good longevity and average sillage for the first hour and it retracted to skin scent for another few hours.

I definitely got the vanilla kisses by Impulse! Look, for me personally I am only picking up on the tiniest of coumarin.... maybe.... this isn't a competitor for Prada Candy but it's in the sweet gourmand category and I feel it's more light and floral. Kind of what I'd expect a vanilla floral fabric softener to smell like on the drydown. I'm not sure what orchid smells like but I'm picking up on a floral note, possibly Iris or something I've smelled in an iris fragrance in the past.... either way, I love this for bed. It's super super easy to wear.

This is a beautiful and complex vanilla scent - not too sweet so perfectly unisex. It's a great snuggly comforting fragrance, and so very European. At $20 at Chemist Warehouse - this is an excellent buy, it performs beautifully and is a great dupe for Cologne of the Missions Le Couvent des Minimes for women and men. I hope they continue to stock this lovely line - classy looking bottles, great scents and a perfect little treat for a fragrance lover. Stock up now just in case - I have!

For some reason i am obsessed with this perfume, i got it in a random vanilla bundle from another seller and now i have 2 backup bottles. It’s nothing special but so pleasant, you want to keep smelling it. It’s only 10€ for 100 ml which justifies it in every way possible. Lasts about 4 hours on me but im totally ok with it since it’s a daytime perfume. Very different from my beloved vanilla 28 which too has orchid and vanilla but maybe this combination speaks out to me

I blind bought this because I loved the bottle and I am so glad I did... I'm just now getting myself into vanilla fragrances and this was warm, cozy, and a bit boozy. I loved it! On my skin I can barely smell any floral notes and I mainly smell vanilla, but some people here say the opposite— I guess it boils down to skin chemistry. I will say it's not very wearable in the summer, but once winter hits this will be my go-to.

Wasn't expecting to fall in love *but*..tried this and it smells exactly like a deeper version of a vanilla Impulse body spray I used to have in the 90's! (it used to be my fave one). Absolutely gorgeous sweet creamy warm fruity vanilla and lasted at least 8 hours on my wrist kept wafting over me when I moved my arm. WANT!! :) (I had added this review to the wrong perfume, Vanilla Ambree, also from M&S oops got confused)

I bought this as a blind buy - the bottle is cute and I love vanilla so I was sold. It is extremely close to Fragonards Fleur d'Vanille which is one of my favorite perfumes but I wear it sparingly as I don't want to use it all when I can't get it shipped to NZ. It is slightly more powdery and a little fruitier and the sillage is not as strong but overall a pretty close - much cheaper - Dupe.

This is a delightful perfume of Vanilla flowers and a slight green sharpness from the leaves. Opens with a burst of Candy Vanilla and Fresh Green Leaves. Once it warms on your skin it becomes a beautiful mix of creamy Vanilla and warm Musk. Monotheme make some amazing perfumes at a budget price, this would have to be my favourite so far.

I love it, it's not one of those sickeningly sweet vanilla perfumes that smell more like candy. And I think its versatile in a way that it's more floral and light compared to most vanilla fragrances, so you're able to wear it even when the weather is warmer. It's the perfect blend of vanilla and floral notes.

i love this perfume but this 1 is sai thats use only for woman biut there is nothing wrong when man using this vanilla blossom perfume its good and nice smell make my friends wonder whats smell is thats.and its 10000000000000% good for man also..please change the advertisement to man and women..

This smells so good. I am comparing the dry down to Burberry Goddess. It's comforting and has made me feel so good all day. Yes I've done few resprays but for $20 aud its great everyday vanilla. Kind of smells like Palmers Cocoa Butter body lotion which is perfect l.

My father got me this as a gift, LOVE IT! I can't get enough of it in all honesty, it's simply....Ellegant! I feel elegant when I'm wearing it even if I'm in my pyjama

I love this vanilla perfume it is always a pleasure when I smell it.. it does boost my mood up and makes me feel cozy.

Surprisingly good. Not a sweet vanilla. It's smoky and very feminine. Sexy and subtle, with a GREAT price.

A very pleasant surprise. I was decicing whether to buy this one or Comptoir Sud Pacifique's 'Vanilla Extreme'. I picked this one because the latter was too expensive for me to buy and the scent was one-dimensional to me. I was very happy I brought it home with me. A different kind of vanilla, not like the trendy bakery vanilla that is very popular nowadays. It reminded me of Kylie Minogue's 'Darling' without the dirty, earthy plastic note. 'Vanilla Blossom' smelled like vanilla mixed with alcohol. A whiff of children's cough medicine, it's okay because I liked the smell of cough medicine when I was very young! The floral notes made itself known from time-to-time lightly. Regarding the fruity notes I could smell mango. I like this perfume because it's a twist to the traditional vanilla fragrance. I got this at a reasonable price in Marks and Spencer a little more than 10 euros, just like the fragrances you can buy in drugstores (e.g Lace, L'aimant). Recommended buy if you want to try a vanilla fragrance with a boozy mediciny twist at an affordable price.

I received this as a gift set with some hand cream. It's, you know, not bad I guess? Sillage is minimal, and the longevity on me is just okay. Definitely more floral, not at all like a big slug of baking vanilla. I could see this as more of a daytime choice for me or maybe a linen spray but there's nothing inherently Not Evening about it. I like it well enough, but I don't know if I would've purchased this with my own money in this economy and... *touches ear piece* Sorry, I'm just hearing that this was... twenty Aussie dollars. I repeat, twenty pacific pesos. I'm upgrading this review from "y'know, not bad" to "yeah that's alright eh mate". For $20 this is a perfectly decent little edt. Back to you in the studio.

Oh, now Vanilla Blossom is on database! I have had this perfume in a 30ml bottle for ages. I really like it because it's not a candy cotton foody vanilla, rather a sweet floral vanilla with some fruity edge and woody undertones, not without some elegance. I don't wear it very often and not usually to go out, but I find it an uplifting scent that makes me smile when I feel down. I don't consider it an elegant sophisticated multi-faceted vanillic perfume like Shalimar or that kind, but as for a plain vanilla scent it is very nice, long lasting and much better than so many expensive trendy vanillas around! I used to buy it in some department stores, now it has become difficult to find.

This is a vanilla fragrance that is not sweet or sickly. It isn’t a complex perfume. With my body chemistry, it is vanilla without wood or floral. I also have Phlur Vanilla Skin. I prefer the Monotheme. A bonus is Monotheme is amazingly cheap. In Australia, it is $20 for a 100 ml bottle at Chemist Warehouse. I therefore use it freely. I often apply it in the evening when my perfume has faded during the day. Or even on my pyjamas as vanilla is a nice cosy scent to enjoy when settling down to sleep. The sillage and longevity is good on me. It lingers on clothes indefinitely. The bottle is pretty. 8/10

My overall impression is that it is a light, lovely vanilla with a strong orchid note. It's probably not blind buy safe for somebody looking for pure vanilla, but if you love fruity floral gourmands this is pretty safe. I blind-bought it because I wanted a perfume to layer with Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid by Victor and Rolf and so far it is a lovely combination. It isn't the strongest but it's good for a cheap eau de toilette. Edit: my brother said that it smells like creaming soda and I totally agree!

Good perfume if you want a subtle vanilla scent that isn't overly gourmand. On paper, to me, it was powdery and slightly creamy, almost like a creaming soda or an old flaky chocolate sweet found in your mum's handbag. However, on skin the florals are quite prominent- I sadly couldn't smell any wood. After maybe 2 hours it becomes a nice warm vanilla, slightly musky

Upon first spray this smells like pure Vanilla pods, not gourmand at all, just vanilla, and it smells heavenly. I cannot wait to do a full wear test on this. I don ́t like gourmands, but I was on the hunt for a wearable vanilla that was just warm and not gourmand for winter/autumn, but this might work for other seasons too.

I’m not a crazy vanilla fan, but I purchased this today. It’s lighter and fruitier than I was expecting, and settles into a gentle, fluffy vanilla that’s not sickly. The woods are grounding and smooth, without being overpowering. A great work fragrance. I think it is gentle enough to warm up other fragrances also.

A vanilla with sheer, paper-thin petals and dried fruit. It does remind me of how I remember Police Dark Women smelling (a weirdly named fragrance since it's not dark in the least, but I digress). The scent is floral enough for it not to read foody despite the fruitiness. A good candidate for layering.

It's a light, pleasant but plasticky and powdery vanilla. Here are the smells it reminds me of: -Plastic -Cooking vanilla -some floral? -Yakult -Powder It's not too sweet and decent for the price but I want to move on to truer vanillas so I won't buy it again.

This is such a beginner friendly vanilla. If you want to dive into gourmand fragrances but never used a gourmand before definitely start with this. It has the softest vanilla ever and a hint of flowers. AND it's on the cheaper side. Wearable in every season.

I just bought it and I like very much the fragrance! It's a soft, kind and fine vanilla, not too much powedry, it's not a food-style vanilla, just a creamy soft scent! the sillage is soft, right for summer time...

it smells like vanilla ice-cream with a little bit of baileys when first sprayed, when it fades it smells like vanilla flower essence with a milky balm smell to it. if that makes sense?..

This perfume is pure vanilla heaven! It's sweet and cozy without being overwhelming. I love the hint of fruitiness that keeps it interesting. Definitely my new go-to for fall and winter.

This is just vanilla. A sweet halfway vanilla that has a bit of a marshmallowy note but not sickening sweet. No florals. No woods. No fruit. Vanilla. Cooking vanilla. Not boozy either.

i personally do enjoy this fragrance. it’s a sweet vanilla scent with a little floral touch but does not affect the main note. not too sickly and can be good for layering

Sometimes I just want a pretty, soft vanilla floral, and this is perfect. Tends to get "you smell nice" comments and is never overwhelming or sickly.

For the price this is a lovely vanilla. It's like a very faint vanilla extract, mixed with subtle florals. Pretty!

Lets start by saying this is a very cheap fragrance... Just 15 bucks for a 100ml so i did not expect much to be fair. This fragrance in my opinion has very few essential oils inside, not that I expected more to be fair. It has no naturals, pretty sure of it, but still it doesn't come across scratchy or overly synthetic, you just get a very pleasant vanillin with some chemicals reproducing a flower accord (in here is listed Orchid but I don't recognize it easily) and at the base I smell Isosuper. All in all is a very delicate simple sweet fragrance if you want to smell good without spending a fortune is good enough. The name speaks about vanilla but what I smell the most is flowers in here, I honestly would revisit the name to be fair... Perfomances are lacking but for 15 bucks you can't complain being also an EDT.... Sentwise is a 6, Money/scent is a 7.5

This is a faint powdery white floral vanilla. (Definite baby powder/ cosmetic powder feeling.) Feeling-wise it reminds me of Lacoste Pour Femme - but with added vanilla, and minus the characteristic suede / freesia scent of the Lacoste one. At the moment -in the middle of winter-, the scent feels flat and underwhelming. I imagine it may fare better in warmer temperatures

This was a blind buy. I bought it online thinking there might be a chance it smells like Orchidee Vanille. It smells nothing like Orchidee Vanille. My first impression was that it smells like a cheap body spray. After it sits for a bit, it smells like an old floral perfume but a bit watered down. Well, you get what you pay for.

A very weak and therefore a very universal scent - a bit of totally-not-gourmand vanilla with a hint of orchid/ lacquered paper, maybe getting a bit lighter after leaving it on a shelf to macerate. A good blind buy to check if one likes vanilla, worst case scenario it evaporates quickly. I'm using mine before bedtime now.

I expected this to smell strongly of vanilla. Dissapointingly however, the orchid floral scent is what really stands out. The longer it stays it just smells like a lovely sweet floral lotion on your skin. It smells nice but just a lot like an older woman which is not what I'm going for.

Don’t expect a rich gourmand vanilla. This is a lightweight fruity floral blend with vanilla notes teetering in the background ever so slightly , to smooth out any sharpness. It’s pleasant, nothing unique, a great blender fragrance and airy texture is great for summer, or working out.

I’m not getting any vanilla, and it’s definitely not a gourmand. I’m getting citrus and pink flowers (might be vanilla orchid) but nothing edible. It’s a fresh floral, sweet and youthful.
