Wisteria

Clean, fresh florals. Wisteria and Lily of the valley are the main characters. You have to absolutely love floral perfumes to enjoy this one. It can be headache inducing. Moderate longevity (4-5 hours) and low sillage. I'm overspraying it btw. It's absolutely perfect for the price. If you're looking for an easy reach, inoffesinve, quieter everyday scent, this can be your choice. Also you can layer it with other fragrances, especially with the other offerings from this brand. Personally, I've been enjoying the Wisteria and White Musk combo. P.S. I don't know what's going on with the voting on Fragrantica lately. This fragrance does not deserve 2.2 as a rating and I'm sure that most of the people that rated it that low, have not tried it yet.

Slightly spicy, sweet and clean, a pale purple floral. Love it.

Upon first spray this smells like The Flintstones pink chewy vitamins for children, I used to get as a kid in the 90 ́s, which I believe actually had a raspberry flavour, so it ́s quite confusing when looking at the notes and not seeing that there. It does also smell like flowers, but it has that distinct chewy vitamin flavour that overpowers it. Oversprayed this on me to smell the slightest floral, and even after 5 minutes I smell kind of nothing, just watered down florals and a hint of my childhood vitamins. Anosmic to this maybe, or maybe there just no perfume oils in this cologne.

I said I'd come back in Spring, ...but here, wisteria bloom at the end of winter, so I have returned slightly early. The scent of actual wisteria blossoms is a sharply complex medley of grape soda, orris root, lavender, and violets, ...and a musky element too. Yes, I realize most of those ingredients bear some association with various shades of purple. That may look suspicious, but I swear my goal here is accuracy, ...not fanciful whimsy. As such, the scent of Wisteria by Monotheme-Venezia is not a very close match, Rather, it is much more sweetly aquatic, with aspects of fruit and bright greenery. Nuances that the flowers of wisteria do not possess. Of course, this light Wisteria fragrance is certainly pleasant enough for what it is, ...but like so many constructed accords, it falls far short of what it has supposedly been modeled after.

Does Monotheme-Venezia's Wisteria smell like wisteria? Well, it's November, but going by memory, I recall wisteria (the flower) as having a freshly sweet scent with a sharp candy-like aspect, somewhat similar to other fragrant pea flowers, such as sweet pea and black locust. Monotheme-Venezia's Wisteria fragrance does have a similarly bright sweet scent that stays balanced between green-aquatic and powdery with out straying too far into either. The sugary-tart candy aspect does seem less than I recall. So overall, it seems to at least be in the ballpark of familiarity, ...and certainly pleasant enough regardless. To be certain, next Spring I will have to take this and a number of other perfumes outside to various gardens and meadows for some more direct comparisons.

It is not egzactly wisteria, but a very nice sweet floral. At first it is quite aquatic and fresh, but after a few minutes you van smell something clean and sweet. Soliflore but modern.

What's with these ranking & "reminds me of" votes? Makes NO sense.
