Elation

Wow, I LOVE IT! Smells totally like a beach! seriously, it just transported me to my childhood summer holidays, smells like sea shells, hot sand, sun lotion and mediterranean greens all together! It was so much like this that I thought, this is out of place in this grey cold spot of the world, but actually after the dry down I've changed my mind, I think it might work in crispy clear winter days or even on nights out. Maybe not so much if its raining, I think you need to see the sunshine or the stars when wearing this perfume.

This is a really nice warm weather scent. I made the mistake of using it in winter (which is when I bought it). So I was dissapointed at first. Such woody and citrusy ness is far too cold a smell for cold weather. Anyhoo, in a bid to finish it, I took it to my mums when I visited her in april. During my stay I was surprised at how much I was liking it and how it sweetened out in the dry down. Something I could never detect when used in winter. So fresh and long lasting and its so woody that it takes me back to the smell of an old cupboard that used to be at my friends house, and everything she stored in there had that woodsy smell. (I say this in a good way). But again, I think this is one of those perfumes you will either love or hate so try before you buy.

Not my cup of tea if there is some in... it smells like any old deodorant or cheap perfume. I would have expected something more sophisticated from monsoon. Disappointing.
