Bubble Forever

It's not as green as Velvet Vanilla with the leafy intensely green angelica and it's not marshmallow-y as that one. The grapefruit paired with toffee, praline or amber always gives a candy-like scent in perfumes such as in Love Desigual and in Purple Molecule 070.07/ DUA Orchid Molecule 7.0, and it does so in this too. Bubble Forever is truly bubblegum-sweet and it shares the bubblegum sweetness with Love Don't Be Shy, but to me it's not as marshmallow-sweet as the latter and without the soft spicy scent of the coriander. It is a unique bubblegum floral-fruity candy scent from the neroli- grapefruit pairing while the lemon makes it fruity-fresh, genius move to put these notes together. The lemon is also sugared and the base notes make the lemon just a fresh touch and also smooth, not astringent. Along with the bubblegum scent there is a green effect, I smelled my arm countless times to see if my nose tricked me, but I smell something green as an undertone, which makes it more unique for a bubblegum scent. The pear and orange blossom are not obnoxious, how nice and rare since I refrain from these two salty sour notes esp when paired together, so that's possibly where the green element stems from, as they both have a green effect in scents, even in the opening. The rose also comes off dewy, aromatic, slightly deep and green and only slightly balsamic at the drydown, not heady or vintage - so youthful. I also smell a wonderful ethereal, fresh white floral element from the jasmine. They all dance along with the playful bubblegum candy notes. Some cinnamon spice blending with the fizzy orange blossom appears in the mid phase and drydown, all very subtle, cuz the bubblegum candy fruity scent with the white floral fresh aspect and the green undertone are more dominant. I love the subtle green aspect in this, it's like the Angelique Noire/Dua Dark Angelica concept where the sweet notes are paired with green ones with a subtle sour nuance, this one is a different scent though and not as green. The sour part of the scent develops more in the later drydown for me. The mid stage and drydown are still bubblegum-sweet and subtly green, but also musky and slightly amber-y as in warm from the toffee too. The later drydown is sour-amber-y from the pear which is a sour note - I don't smell a sour lemon at this point - while the amber intensifies the warm sour effect and at some point I thought I smell some patchouli, but that's the amber and the green pear. It still remains fruity-sweet with an aromatic rose in the background, but without the bubblegum candied neroli at this later point, so it totally morphs into a different scent than that of the opening-mid and drydown. The sour-sweet musky amber-y later drydown is like Pepe Jeans For Her drydown with the amber-musk, tangerine, but that one is obnoxiously sour like Amo Ferragamo while this is very balanced despite the more sour musky end result. I'd also say it's in the same league as DUA Berry Orange Bubblegum for the most part before it changes on me at the later drydown. I really need a bottle. I am rarely impressed by Montale perfumes and I adore this already.

SOOOO DELICIOUS OMG think i finally found my dream perfume just ordered the real deal but cant stop sniffing my sample!! loveee the fresh clean airyness of the pear and orange and the cinnamon and toffee so perfect for a sweet skin scent when the citrus is gone just UGH I LOVE IT update: bought the real deal (before i had smelled through a LuckyScent sample) and okay to be honest at first like right after u spray its GROSS very much made me want to throw up😭🥲 BUT i stayed hopeful and thankfully the middle and dry down are still very very yummy i will definitely still be wearing this just plug ur nose the first 5 minutes idk💀 hoping this smells better in the fall/winter its kinda gross for summer but good for spring in that its fresh and clean yet gourmand

Bubble Yum or Hubba Bubba fused bubblegum flavors around the same time Converse released Chuck Taylor's in half-and-half colors. Pink on one side, purple on the other. Yellow on one side, green on the other. Pop art styling. This is the best smelling perfume! Strawberry bubblegum on one side and lemonade flavor gum on the other. With the lemonade adding a short tart balance to the sweet bubblegum facets. Comparissons to the more edt like Toy 2 Bubble Gum Moschino are immature, b serious. Plz, this has tuberose and florals to support the bubblegum scent and the dry down is a very feminine citrus floral. You will wonder what smells so good around you without being able to understand it is actually you. That is how dumb good Bubble Forever smells.

I love this! I sprayed this after a shower and when I went back in to the bathroom, my nose was filled with this airy, sweet, cotton candy like pink bubblegum scent. It's very fun, very whimsical. Not very complex but,imo, very nicely executed. It's a bubblegum scent that doesn't just smell like straight up bubblegum, I think the pear and orange blossom give it that more airy, juicy smell. My mouth almost waters when I smell it. Think of when you chew on a juicy bubblegum and get that flow of saliva in your mouth, that's what this envokes for me. It's very long lasting and has incredible silleage as Montale usually does. It definitely leaves a trail behind you. Can't wait to purchase a full bottle! a win for me

Really pleasant orange blossom fragrance. It has a fresh fruity opening with somewhat of a powdery dry down. This is nothing you haven't smelled before but it makes me happy to wear it. It is evocative of bubblegum, but more of an interpretation of that note. I definitely want a small bottle of this.

One of the best new releases from Montale. I was loving Lucky Candy, but like this one even better. It very unique. There is a sweetness, but it's light and airy. The pink, sugary bubblegum mixed with grapefruit is my favorite aspect.

Yes this is LDBS fraiche. Not straight away at the beginning, its starts like sweet fresh lemon ice cream, but then yes later on its the bubblegum cozy scent but much more suitable for summer. Love ❤️

longevity is not very good (3-4 hours) and then it turns into a skin close perfume. But the perfume is very nice, fresh and sweet at the same time. The lemon is very light and not overpowering

At certain points it reminds me of an orange creamsicle and at other times it reminds me of a fizzy orange soda. Super sweet throughout.

I quite like this one, it’s got a nice fresh and sweet smell to it that is actually quite calm and collected. Silliage - It’s good, nothing crazy though. Could smell this in my room when I sprayed but not out of it. Longevity - This one lasted a while, sprayed in my room from a sample and could smell it for quite a while. It also gave me more time to smell and enjoy the fragrance. The scent - Very nice and refined quite sweet with a bit floral and vanilla which complements each other well. It’s kind of like versache Eros but more refined. Price - This one is a bit more pricey than the other móntales with 100 pounds for a 100ml bottle. Silliage - 7.5/10 Longevity - 7.5/10 The scent - 8/10

Trying a sample of this today. Initial spray is orange creamsicle and bubblegum. But it’s nice I enjoy it that’s just exactly what it smells like. It’s 8 hours later and I didn’t really pay attention to it I smelled sweet and citrusy a bit vanilla-y all day but I noticed the deep dry down smells exactly like MFK’s Gentle Fluidity Gold. I have it and I smelled my wrist just now and was like doubting which perfume I put on this morning that’s how similar they are. Not sure if it’s a worthy dupe though because you have to wait for quite a dry down for it to smell like that but if you like sweet vanilla citrus this is up your alley!

My first impression after wearing it for a day is that it really starts out as a pink bubble gum and then settles into a rather warm, rather sweet, somewhat fruity and powdery scent. This is how I want perfumes with toffee notes in them to smell like. Towards the end of the wear, it became this airy ambery toffee. I blind bought this which I don't usually do but it was a good choice. This may be too much for me for hot summer days but I was feeling perfectly fine wearing it in 25 °C. I'll update in case of any substantial changes.

I'm surprised to see it labelled as a unisex fragrance. It's very, VERY sweet. Like a teen girl in early 2000s type of sweet. Candy, bubble gum, you name it. There definitely is a synthetic element to it, but it won't matter to people who don't care for that. Like it states in CONS section - the bubble gum smell fades maybe too quickly than it should. Also the fragrance is literally called Bubble Forever, but bubble doesn't last forever unfortunately. Over all it's a playful and cheerful fragrance.

I'm a guy and got this one as a sample thinking not to much of it, but i tought why shouldn't i try it on. And when i sprayed this one on i instantly felt bubbly and the perfume gave me an uplifting feeling i was feeling energetic. The perfume smells like the color pink, bubblegum mixed with grapefruit . Only downside is that it didn't last long - 5 hours max and the sillage was average at best. If ur a guy dont be shy to try some of the more 'girly' perfumes you might like it

Many things can be true at once. This does not smelled of bubblegum, but it does pass through a bubble bath phase--right after the point where I am convinced I have been duped into purchasing mosquito spray. It does not pass for the ostentacious and stunningly beautiful LDBS, but is somewhere near a 5th well-mannered, considerably less well-off but still pretty cousin. The citrus quickly takes leave and all that is left behind is a soft sweet generic floral.

I think.... I kinda like this It reminds me of Love Don't be Shy, but brighter with more citrus and it doesn't have the civet accord. I didn't care to test this one because smelling like bubble gum isn't particularly something I want to smell like. Overall, this is a sweet fruity candied powdery profile with bubblegum that is pretty linear and easy to wear. She's fun, youthful, and pink! 8/10.

Oh this is gonna be soooooo yummy for spring and summer. Very grapefruit/citrusy and floral forward on me with the gourmand notes more in the back. Def not a heavy gourmand overall, but there is a nice sweetness coming out in the base. A perfect balance of fresh and sweet and very up my alley!

Once the tart citruses calm down, they merge with the orange blossom to create a tart, fruit-laden, orange blossom scent with synthetic, yet sweet undertones. In the dry down this reminds me a lot of Penhaligon’s Solaris. It’s okay, but Solaris is much more refined.

I really like this one! It reminds me somewhat of Oriana. I smell mostly orange blossom and vanilla and it is slightly powdery . I also smell the lemon, but fortunately it is not too sharp. I can understand the bubblegum inspiration but it isn't immature.

Starts off similar to PDM Oriana, very creamy orange. Then turns into a pretty pink bubblegum. I go nose blind after about an hour but I still get compliments throughout an 6-8 hour day. I like it since it’s easy to wear, yummy and inoffensive.

Not a dupe for LDBS, but they're in the same family. I mostly pick up on the orange blossom & neroli. I don't smell any toffee or cinnamon. It's bright, pleasant, feminine, and inoffensive but nothing unique.

This is such a safe thus underwhelming offering from Montale. It`s soapy, sweet scent reminiscent of the bubble gum at the beginning which is kind of cute but quickly becomes rather boring and generic.

a fun bubblegum with white floral undertones - would be a great vacation pick. It’s a bit syrupy but it’s probably supposed to be. Similar to love don’t be shy which i prefer

Shocked I like it due to the grapefruit and lemon! It’s good but I wouldn’t buy a full size as there is a lot of designer fragrances it reminds me of just not as citrusy.

Identical scent to the 'Fruit Stripe' bubblegum from the 90s with the zebra.

My partner fell in love with this at Montale sample rack at Neiman Marcus while I was trying to get him to give my current infatuation, Sensual Instinct, a fair chance. (He didn't and still detests btw😌) As someone who doesn’t love bubblegum perfumes, I wasn't ecstatic when within a week he had a new bottle en route. Nonetheless, I try to strongly encourage his own personal fragrance journey. 😅 Bubble Forever super interestingly utilizes every single quintessential White floral with the help of bright citruses/fruits to comprise an undeniable bubble gum fragrance. This is exclusively a flowery bubble NOT a candy bubble, and I think thats so incredibly important to emphasize. Yes, looking at the notes could very easily and explicitly tell you that, but not all blind buyers check! If I was on the marketing team, this would be called Fleur De Bubble or something along those lines. “Bubble Forever” is too ambiguous, if not a bit cliché, and doesn’t really speak to the on skin wearing experience. The most ideal and on-the-nose perfect case scenario for this is people finishing their bottles of Armani My Way and looking for the next step upwards in the scent world. In the same vein, one could easily be well served by Lattafa’s very competent offering ‘Emaan’ which smells quite like this/My Way for a mere ~$20. This is a beautiful high quality perfume and I appreciate the use of actual real notes to comprise the bubble gum profile. Im a candy over flowers type of nose, so im glad this perfume is for my partner, not for me. Regardless of my relative bubblegum aversion, this type of floral bubble gum wouldn’t be my go to, but I can still give this perfume its flowers; no pun intended...🤠👍🏼

I don’t get bubblegum at all. I get nauseating sweet tarts and synthetic smelling orange blossom. There’s a soapy aldehyde vibe that isn’t listed but makes me think of soap bubbles rather than bubble gum. I wish they had leaned in more to the soap vibe and had less of a candy heart OR leaned into the bubblegum and had some tuber rose or something to give that distinct smell. As is I get a confusing barrage of everything and it’s just a lot. And I want this to be good. I sometimes get overwhelmed by scents like this and maybe that’s the issue. I may just be missing the whole point. Does Parisian bubblegum smell fruity? That might be part of the struggle for me. I want hubba bubba 80s style pink bubblegum smell. Nothing in nature REALLY smells like that but tuber rose and sometimes jasmine get close. But not here. If that’s what you want, IMHO this is not it.

I really wanted to like this. It had such a strong opening, it smelt like cola candies, and bubblegum. A little herbal - herbal jelly in bbt if you've ever had the yummy delicacy. But then it just went so boring, strong floral in vanilla with a little bit of .. not smoke but an amber tinge. I feel like an echo of bubblegum pops into the background from time to time, but so very faint. It's just not for me, I had hoped those opening notes continued for a bit longer. Very strong too fyi. Not headache inducing, but intense. The basement kitchen after church service - older ladies perfumed up and bubblegum given out so you'll keep out of trouble as a kid. Meh :(

Blast of bubble gum at the top, orange blossom, citrus and a bit of pear. Slightly powdery, very sweet. On me, the mid dries down with very dominant sweet & indolic white floral, losing the candy bubble gum, but still retains some sweet citrus in the background. The florals in the mid are, at times, a bit heady for me. In the base, the florals calm down and it seems like a spun sugar musky skin scent. There are moments I liked it, and others where it didn’t settle right on me.

Hmm.. I don't get any bubble gum at all. In the beginning I get a bit of citrus mixed with a smarties candy and powder sugar but then its quickly taken over by florals and ambroxan... It is unique but as of right now I dont love it. I'll let it macerate for a few months and try again.. This was a blind buy since the reviews seemed good. Thankfully I only bought a small travel sized bottle and not the full.. definitely get a sample before purchasing..

Pretty uninteresting perfume. If you want bubblegum buy moscino bubblegum - but it hardly lasts as all bubblegum perfumes do. Generic, reminds of many know. perfume, definately nothing special for the price, longivity very poor. Only the bottle is cute but even that is bloody boring. Next!

big citrus first sniff, immediately followed by sweet fruit bubble gum! its super young and cute!!! and a bit creamy! in the dry down it does turn a bit more florally and toffee like, but at the very end it turns into a very white floral note! its not bad!

The opening for this definitely smells like bubble gum but that is very short lived before it turns very dusty/dirty/green on my skin. The neroli is VERY present and forward in this blend so if you are not a neroli fan you will want to skip this one. The Bulgarian rose also dominates this fragrance on dry down. There is a tiny hint of vanilla in this one but the amber and musk are the more overpowering base notes. I didnt get any cinnamon or toffee with this. This is definitely not what I would call gourmand. The only gourmand part about it is the opening and then it quickly turns to a citrus floral. Has a powdery component too it that is not dominating but it is obviously present. Very. sweet with a hint of sourness. This one is going to be a pass for me. My skin chemistry just does not work with it. It claims to be a unisex fragrance but I feel as though it is very feminine leaning. I received a free sample from a Montale rep at Sephora so I am not out any money. I would definetly not blind buy this.

This was included as part of a Lucky Scent summer vanilla sample set. Unfortunately it’s a synthetic, gross mess; a scent that will announce your arrival several minutes before you enter a room. Bubble Forever indeed, so they got the name accurate. Best described as a sugary, cheap, toffee bomb that doesn’t play nice. If you were hoping for a smooth, complex or classy vanilla, look elsewhere. If you were looking for a tasty gourmand, look elsewhere. If you were looking for anything resembling nature, look elsewhere. It’s persistent, so I’ll give some points for beastly performance. Considering the love for this perfume that is gushing in the reviews below, I doubt my review will last the week. PS: I must call out the reviewer @Verkin (see below): this is nothing like Guerlain’s masterpiece, Angelique Noire. Comparing the two, there are zero similarities.

I think this one is a miss for me. Ordered a travel sized decant of this, thinking it had tuberose for some reason, but apparently I’m mistaken. Was hoping for a bubble gummy tuberose, but it’s decidedly lemony, which is confusing since it smells nothing like bubble gum to me. I’ve heard bubblegum flavoring can vary depending on where you are in the world but this isn’t your classic American bubblegum scent at all. I ended up washing it off because it was irritating me, but will give it another wear to see if I discover anything more pleasant about it.

All I could get is fizzy citrus, a bit sweeter, synthetic citrus, and powdery citrus. It's a citrus overdose at any phase. Also has a weaker sillage than other Montale perfumes.

It's a NO for me! And not for the reasons one may think! It's an absolutely beautiful fragrance - BUT if I am shopping for a bubblegum perfume, I want a completely bubblegum perfume! This starts out bubblegum, and yes I can see the Love Don't Be Shy comparisons...there is a nice orange blossom in here adding a very delicate but present marshmallow-y smell. My complete issue is that the bubblegum does not stay throughout the duration of the fragrance; "BUBBLE FOREVER" and a bright pink bottle made me think this would give me a lasting bubblegum but in conclusion, it does not. This gives me a little bubblegum and then turns into florals. Not bad, but not what I wanted either. I'm thinking of selling this. If anyone is interested, message me. 100mL bottle, sprayed 6 times. Not worn 6 times - sprayed 6 times.

Today I was out in town with a friend and when we got to a counter that had a lot of Montale fragrances, I just grabbed this as my next test without expecting anything of it, but wow. I really adored this! The person behind the counter was so kind to give me a sample of this and I'm really excited to give this a wear test tomorrow. I get why it has that bubble gum association, but this is not overly sweet or cloying or childish to me at all. There are some beautiful florals in here, it smells really summery to me. If I like this, I'm buying a full bottle of this soon for the summer.

the name is incredibly accurate imo - smells exactly like bubble gum- also reminds me a bit of armani my way? except my way is very sharp and a bit headache inducing whereas i feel like bubble forever is a bit smoother and less cloying if that makes literally any sense at all?!? i’ve just bought a bottle bc both days i wore it i got complimented :D and i am a woman of the people :D super girly fun and cute i don’t personally think it lasts that well but maybe i just go nose blind idk :,)

I expected this to be much more fresh and citrusy based on the notes listed. But, the opening actually smells like a very realistic pink bubblegum. If that’s what you’re going for, this is spot on! I notice a distinct drop off in performance around the 1 hour mark, but it could be that I go nose blind to it. This would be a great ‘intro to niche’ type of fragrance, very likable and easy going. It’s not really my style, but I can see lots of people loving it.

The name and the color of the bottle screams 'BUBBLE GUM' ~ yet bubble gum doesn't seem to be the inspiration for the scent itself? Slightly misleading branding/naming, shall we say? That said, I love Montale perfumes, so I will be testing this one! Let's hope, regardless of what the notes indicate, it does smell like bubble gum....

I tested this one recently. I have to say, I was expecting something more potent and sweet. What we have is quite generic Montale fragrance, flowers, hint of fruits. Rather simple and not outstanding, but not bad at all. No suffocating oud here, no oily nasty rose. Just another one OK frag from Montale. For me, it is a pass

I just sampled this and I actually really like this! I swear I get tuberose in it but it must be a mix of other notes. Thinking of picking up a bottle for Spring and Summer! I was excited about Creed Eladaria but it’s getting some meh reviews so far. Still need a bottle for my collection!

I really like this one! Starts out really bubblegummy then dries down a lot more floral than I thought it would. Luckily it's a floral that I like, mostly smelling the orange blossom. I think I will buy if I find it at a good price!
