Patchouli Leaves

There are SOO MANY fragrances that BOAST about having insanely good longevity/sillage along with many folks who vouche for that longevity/sillage, yet when I actually try most of those fragrances, they'll have this super strong sillage, and have a very strong opening, buuut, then Ill only get maybe 6/7 hours on my skin with about half of that time being a skin scent! Well, NOT Patchouli Leaves! This stuff SLLLLAPS! I put just one (full) spritz on my arm so I could sniff on it and enjoy it while at work, well the sillage was over powering my "SOTD" being 4 spritzes of Kenzo Homme edp which is also quite beastly! Well, my 8 hr shift is now over, Im back home doing laundry so it's now been like 10 hours since I applied that one spritz on my arm, and I can STILL clearly smell it as Im getting small wafts of it as I'm moving around doing laundry! I mean to the point where I'm so impressed that I've stopped what I was doing so that I could journal the experience.. Meanwhile, My four spritzes of Kenzo Homme edp are completely gone without a trace. Patchouli Leaves is truely a bonified BEAST of a fragrance! Out of my 150 bottle collection it may just be my strongest performer. Ill have to test it against a few others, but DAYAMN YA'LL. its NO JOKE! Plus it smells AMAZE-BALLZ! Beautiful Natural, Earthy/Choclatey Patchouli, and contrary to popular opinion this DOES TRANSITION into a "cleaner" less earthy "Hippie-ish" Patchouli while it lasts and lasts throughout the entire day! I love this fragrance, butI admittedly cannot stand that cannister! I suppose its bc it just feels so light in the hand plus ya can't see how much is left in the cannister. Ive probably worn about 8 spritzes since ive recieved my "Cannister" and although I know its all in my head, I fear that Im RUNNING LOW all bc I can't see how much is left LOL! Now what I can rave about is the excellent Atomizer😉. Again, Patchouli Leaves is super beastly, but fortunately you can control how much you want to wear with each spritz. You can do a small spritz, medium or then ya have the FULL spritz when you simply press firmly on that atomizer...(BEAST!)...... Anyhow, imo Patchouli Leaves has gotta be one of THEE BEST, natural Patchouli BOMBS around, and is MY quintessential ((🍃PATCHOULI🍃)) fragrance of choice!🍃🫠.. Having somewhat come back into the fragrance world again, this was a fragrance I could not forget. I remember from memory how good it was so I bought a big bottle for a very reasonable price. While it was on its way, I found my tiny dab sample of it, which at this point had turned into a very viscous liquid, if you can call it a liquid still. I desperately got what I could on my wrist and I knew from first smell, I made the right choice. This is probably one of the best patchouli-focused fragrances you can buy. Now, the caveat is you must want an amber/vanilla focus as well, and if you do you’ll be transported to a higher plane of existence. The patchouli has many facets when first sprayed. Mentholated, camphorated, earthy, damp, chocolate... just the best kind really. As it dries, the bourbon vanilla starts to come out and mingle, and what a lush, delicious vanilla this is. This is not a sugar candy vanilla, this is a smooth, semi sweet, mature vanilla. Again, the best kind. The story is apparently they soak patchouli leaves in an oak barrel with vanilla for two years to get this scent. I usually don’t buy stories but the quality of this would leave you in belief that this is possible. I’ve owned high end patch fragrances like Patchouly from Profumum Roma & Coromandel, and I’ve smelled countless others in the niche world. When my interest fell in fragrances, I sold those bottles. I can’t imagine ever selling this one, and potentially would be the last one I’d sell. Note: To the reviewer below me, the longevity of mine lasted over 24 hours... Something must be wrong with your bottle.

Based on the comments and reviews I was expecting a damp and earthy fragrance, but those might be the older batches, or different interpretations than mine. As challenging as the opening might be, this is not that polarizing to me, but certainly not for everyone. I really enjoy the notes that comprise this fragrance in general, so take all this with a grain of salt. Patchouli Leaves has a really simple note breakdown and you can really pinpoint the notes, there's this natural patchouli, which if you get really close has this minty feeling, but gets a bit chocolaty, as well. Supporting the chocolaty or slightly sweet feeling are probably the vanilla and amber but it's not too sweet, it's more like a dusty sweetened myrrh or benzoin kind of smell. What really stands out to me is the labdanum, which blends really nicely with the rest of the notes but also gives it this balmy and powdery texture, and also makes it a bit more mature. I haven't smelled a lot of pure patchouli-centric fragrances but I have recently smelled Coromandel and I remember it's much more subtle than Patchouli Leaves, dare I say more mass-appealing, but it's in the same family. Overall, if you like patchouli and labdanum, you will enjoy this. The performance on this one is very good and I think it's a pretty versatile scent, but don't wear this in the high heat. Also, I think this might be a good base fragrance for layering.

I purchased this with a strong patchouli/amber scent in mind. I knew this is how I wanted to smell and I'm so happy the Scent Bar is right next to me, cause they always guide me in the right direction. First off, the staying power of this magical fragrance is ridiculous. Second, the dry down is seriously amazingly beautiful. We go from strong patchouli and amber to soft vanilla with a powder puff of amber surrounding. INCREDIBLE. I always feel the true test is what my husband thinks, before I tell him I already dropped the cash on it, and when he smelled this one, not knowing it was new, he said I smelled incredibly sexy. He also used the words erotic, exotic and intoxicating...along with some other slightly inappropriate adjectives to describe this mesmerizing scent. Well, that just so happens to be EXACTLY how I want to smell...I think I smell a new signature scent coming on! UPDATE: okay, been wearing this for about a month now, and never have I had so many complete, absolute strangers, come up to me and ask me what I'm wearing. I sort of love every second of this. quite literally every day, someone compliments my fragrance and not just a "you smell nice" kind of a compliment, but an almost shocked "whao, what are you wearing?? you smell amazing!" sort. And they ALWAYS want to know where to buy it. Needless to say, I'm in love.

Truly Addictive. Imagine the resinous and dusty depths of an antique wardrobe. Old world delights, forgotten and found. An attic treasure in the best possible way. This scent takes me to a tranquil place, peaceful and still. Beautifully rich patchouli, almost damp and persistent in it's nature is endless in this composition. The amber / labdanum is round and pillowy, giving the vanilla added sweetness and body throughout. The combination feels rustic and just a tad on the chocolaty side. Dark chocolate, no milk, no sugary sweets. This lasts and lasts on me. In the dry down a creamy, honeyed sweetness comes through long into the wearing. I get 16+ hours on my skin. In the air the initial punch is huge, with sillage filling the room. This is a fairly large scent, but once it calms down becomes smooth, delicious, natural, cozy, and warm. This may be my favorite release from the house of Montale yet. Scent 10/10 Sillage 10/10 Longevity 11/10 Tres magnifique 👌

Many of my frags contain patch and fortunately I never get that "stink" or "hippie" or "dirty" smell that so many use to describe this note (as I would find that offensive). That being said, my skin tends to radiate "earthy" notes and I'm always concerned that frags will smell like "mulch, damp roots or fresh twigs" (not my thing). I feared that Patchulli Leaves would be one of those. Well my nose and skin chemistry must like patch b/c again I get nothing "offensive" nor can I use any of the "typical" patch adjectives. This frag has a gentleness about it, not to be mistaken for sheer. Initially there is the soft, balmy amber (love amber), I also get undercurrents of clean sand/soil after a very light rain (not beachy or mossy or mulchy), a barely-there sweetness and a touch of creamy vanilla . . . this is unique, deep and rich but not in a "look at me" way but in a very personal, so relaxing to my senses kind of way. FB worthy.

This is very nice indeed. Slightly medicinal, rural summer cottage smell. Wildflowers, beeswax, old wood. Warming and refreshing at the same time -- has that slightly bitter herbal edge to balance out the sweetness. Off the skin, it appeared somewhat cloying and one-dimensional, but on the skin, it morphed into something deep and satisfying. Basically, it's patchouli oil plus just the right amount of vanillic amber notes that smoothen out the edges. It definitely doesn't conform to any sexy/sensual stereotype, and it doesn't make you "smell wealthy" or anything like that. It's a fragrance for putting you in a reflective mood and for projecting a sense of appreciation for contemplation, long walks in nature, slow thinking, deep reading and stress relief. At least, that's the way I perceive it. Absolutely no issues with performance. Most likely a bee magnet in the summer.

A successful 10/10 blind buy! I have close to a 100 bottles now and the one thing that was lacking was a patchouli forward scent. That being said I can't sample Montale or Mancera fragrances where I live and all the "earthy, ground and dirt" comments had me a bit sceptical. I can say that it does have a earthy reminder, but not nearly as earthy as Encre Noir which gets described with the same words (just where my mind was at reading reviews). There is the faintest of sweetness and chocolate smell from the patchouli and the balance of the fragrance seems perfected. I was on the fence of getting Mugler AMen for a heavy patchouli scent, but where that one is still difficult for me to pull off Montale Patchouli Leaves gives me the perfect balance. It's heavy summer now, can't wait to wear it in the colder seasons. The test spray on my arm was already declaring it's potency.

The Patch bomb I’ve been hunting for forever! I have every currently available lush patchouli fragrance karma, time of the season, LOM and Tank Battle. I also have Angel Muse, patchouli mania from essential perfumes, sole patchouli, sticky fingers, psychedelic, renaissance patchouli, patchouli noisette, molinard patchouli, Portrait of a Woman, Patchouly Profumum Roma and the inimitable Coromandel. I love them all but I wanted something just for me to use for a strong sensory expertise. While by no means a subtle masterpiece this is just patch on patch on patch - green, earthy, at times chocolatey. True beast mode long-lasting and silage for days. I’d prefer a little less vanilla though as it leans a bit sweet. Not a safe blind buy and not safe for work but a guilty pleasure.

I freaking LOVE Patchouli! So much so, I have an alter...errr...cabinet, yes cabinet- devoted to my patchouli fragrances, so why am I the only person here not loving this one? I far prefer Montale’s Vetiver Patchouli to this, and unless my nose has gone off, I’m seriously smelling corn chips wafting up from where I sprayed this. I hate to even leave a negative review on anything with patchouli in it, as it gets enough hate already. LEAVE PATCHOULNEY ALONE!! Lol. Sorry I had to. That being said, I’m going to wear test this for a few more days and hope I can come back to edit this review with better news... Update/ Edit: adding Patchouli Leaves to my collection. It’s a must have. I can’t Leaf Patchoulney Alone.

I have very mixed emotions about Montale's creations. Whilst I like a few especially from the aoud range, most others I find just to rough and with a sort of common edge. This one however is in my opinion one of the best patchouli scents I have ever smelled and anyone can wish for. Spicy and strong with a hint of vanilla, totally sensual in a sexy comforting way. I just love when the amber is coming through in the drydown. This is pure delight. Nowhere near anything from the patchoulis of the sixties. For me it has just the right projection and silage. Longevity is acceptable. I received tons of compliments wearing it. Definitely on my to buy list for a full bottle .

Patchouli Leaves Montale: Oh man, if you're a fan of patchouli, this one's right up your alley. It totally takes me back to those magical morning walks in the woods after a light drizzle the night before. The ground is still damp with dew and rainwater, and the air is filled with the earthy scent of patchouli. As it dries down, the amber and oriental spices start to peek through, adding a touch of warmth and exoticism. And there's also this powdery vanilla that weaves in and out, making it all the more cozy and inviting. The sillage is pretty good too, filling most of the room with its beautiful aroma. I'm seriously liking this one. It's easily a 9 out of 10 for me.

Picked this up because I love patchouli. However, this is not what I was expecting. Patchouli Leaves is a mood, a vibe. It’s dark, dank, morose and rather somber. Wet tobacco, damp almost bitter earth. I detect little, to no sweetness here. In fact I detect no life here. This fragrance reminds me of death, something melancholy and introspective. Not anything I would ever want to smell like, or smell on someone else. Update: 24 hrs later: My word, something smells kind of fantastic. Geez, I can still smell it? Wow. 48 hrs later: Bewitching. What magic is this?? This is an experience. It’s different, unique, I don’t have anything else like it. I need a full bottle.

Damn. Smells like running away from a cold rain shower into a cozy local library going under some small renovations. The smell of books and lacquer is unmistakable and you're not sure if you want to get out or chit chat with the owner. You're offered a hot cocoa and a slice of freshly baked brownies. Yeah, why the hell not. You've got nothing better to do and you like brownies. Even that wet varnish smell is growing on you. It seems like it is going to rain for a while. A fragrance that is aggressive and awkward in the beginning but if you know how to chill out in the moment and let it sit a bit, will grow on you. Also, please, don't wear a tracksuit with this.

A singular creation, a true honoring of the central ingredient. Earthy, chocolate cake, wet-soil, autumn leaves, forest undergrowth, all topped with a sprinkle of melancholy. As said below, this is a mood, a vibe. This is classic patchouli, think Grateful Dead concerts, but elevated/classy/niche. Reminds me of how chefs take peasant dishes and elevate them to new heights. Anyone who doesn't like this just doesn't like patchouli, plain and simple. This is what patchouli is and always has been...it is eternal! The negative comments blow my mind...it's like someone complaining that their chocolate bar is too "chocolatety"...well, then don't eat chocolate! 9.5/10

I am not a fragrance expert. I'm just an average Joe that enjoys fragrances, so I can't tell you about all the subtle nuances of this scent or any other. But—what I can tell you is that the smell of patchouli is an incredible gift from God, and Montale's Patchouli Leaves smells strongly of said gift for many hours. Hippie vibes, earthy, a little chocolately (not full-on "cake" territory), peaceful. If you've got the itch for patchouli, this will scratch it. Also, if anyone else really likes patchouli and has any recommedations of scents where patch plays a prominent role, feel free to DM me.

Holy moly- this is a statement scent. You have to like patchouli to fully appreciate it but it is stunning. There are many types of patchouli- this one is a rich, chocolatey style with a subtle touch of spice (though no spice notes are listed). The vanilla combined with what I am guessing is some nutmeg creates a slight cola effect. However, it is the rich, seductive, sexy patchouli that is the center of this scent and it is a compliment magnet! I wear this in fall and winter and primarily at night. This is not expensive, but it’s so rich!! Try a sample and see for yourself.

Just got this in today (blind buy) and was plesantly surprized by it! Was expecting a churchy, earthy decayed, edgy and weird fragrance, considerring the reviews, however I got a sweet-ish, leathery, patchouli with chocolate undertones that blew me away. My wife also enjoyed it and that says a lot considerring she mostly likes fresh summer scents. Overall a 9.5/10 for me! PS: It is very similar, to my nose, to 1740 Marquis de Sade by Histoires de Parfums. That one is more leather focused and with honey facets.

Room filler. Unapologetically bold and rowdy patchouli. Great if you love strong patchouli scents. Initially, it took me back to when I was bang into thrash metal going to concerts in the early-to-late 80s. That grungy patchouli that could be smelt across arenas. Then a very slight earthy menthol vibe joins before it sweetens with the vanilla. As much as I really enjoy this scent, and it is a fantastic scent, it’s not one I could wear on a night out... ...not unless Sepultura or Anthrax are in town. 👌🏻

interesting. none of the salt or softness of amber none of the fullness or sweetness of vanilla none of the depth of labdanum so much for my expectations. starts off minty in a wintergreen/eucalyptus way and very resinous not a *deep* perfume a wandering smokiness, but not in an incense way more like pine in the fireplace right before the whole room fills with smoke... i like this but it's not wearable for me not inviting almost think-y but a good work of art

+1 from CoffeeCologne. This is a really nice patchouli scent. The patchouli is the star here, but it is surrounded by warm amber and labdanum that powder it down just a tad. The warm vanilla gives it just that hint of sweetness that pulls it out of the dirty earth smell and into a truly beautiful scent. My wife hates patchouli - so I am eager to see what she says when she smells it tonight. I'll update if it's negative.

I have had more a test of this today and a think so a chance to write a proper review. A definite misnomer for my nose. Not getting the patchouli at all come through. I get musk, amber, vanilla and something else. A pleasant flowery mix but a tad on the feminine side. It is the smell of the old vinyl record store with a hint of mould/ musty about it. Glad I sampled first. scent 7/10 sillage 8.5/10 longevity 8.5/10

This is one of the very few fragrances I own where I simply will not apply more than one spray. I've walked into a friends home and their partner commented that she could smell me from upstairs moments after I entered. As for the scent, you really must enjoy patchouli as it's here in all its unrefined glory, only tamed later on by the vanilla and amber which creates a wonderfully wearable chocolate cloud.

It's drop-dead gorgeous. The amber is not synthetic like most ambers. This is a warm, mellow, slightly sweet amber perfume. Patchouli is intense--rich and nutritious like a peat bog. I smell plenty of dark, damp soil, full of partially decayed mosses and leaves. It reminds me of Prada's Amber, but Prada is spicy, and I don't get that spicy quality in Patchouli Leaves. So earthy, yet so heavenly.

This stuff is a nuclear bomb, I swear it lasted a whole week on my shirt with 6 sprays, I think this has the best performance I have ever seen, it even perform better than Zoologist T-Rex for those who knows. It's full patchouli and amber bomb that lasts 10 hours and then after, it smells extremely dusty like you entered an old house It is a bit gothic in a way, I'm I'm love with it

If you like patchouli you will probably like this. Similar to patchouli mania, and real patchouly but IMO done better with Montale, this is smooth, rich, and slightly sweetened. It's not a sweet bomb, but gives enough sweetness to counteract the earthy chocolate. I like this, and I also like montale's patchouli vetiver, so that's 2/2 for patchouli based fragrances from the house.

Hey baby ;) Where have you been all my life? For so long my life was dull and boring looking for others like you! You brought love and happiness into my life by blessing me with your smooth sensuality off the top and I feel in love with your warm creamy dreamy thick vanillic bottom half. Once you are on me I have a hard time getting you to get off me, not that I want you to ;)

I received a sample of this in a miscellaneous box. Luckily I saw past the very basic name and tried it anyway. What an alluring, grounding, earthy unexpected fragrance! Chocolate liquor, patchouli, gorgeous amber, and yet a little airiness to it as well. It's a curious scent that's addictive and perfect for this rainy day at the brink of season change.

This is the Patchouli for true Patchouli fans. It is resinous, deep, rich, dirty, syrupy, and almost edible. It has chocolate in the background but not a sweet chocolate. The vanilla is there but toned down. I have a 2021 batch and it is intensely potent. One spray and that's all that is needed. I have a cloud of yummy, earthy happiness. Brilliant.

This is a patchouliphobe's patchouli! The opening is a tad bit sharp with a heavy earthy headshop patchouli. Within half-hour after application the patchouli becomes chocolatey and a gorgeous vanilla and woods take over adding a luxurious depth to the scent! This is a powerhouse fragrance, for me even two sprays will last days on my clothes.

This is a fabulous labdanum patchouli scent! Resinous, dark, spicy, creamy, its everything I could have ever hoped for in this perfume. If you are not a fan of strong patchouli or amber fragrances this is not for you. The patchouli has a slight dirty undertone but it is not a hippie patchouli scent. Sillage and longevity are amazing.

It starts deep a bit medicinal maybe it's the mixed patchouli, amber, balsamic notes that give such effect, But when it settles down it gives you that warm patchouli amber a bit sweet dry own, Basically if you are a patchouli fan get this because it's mostly about that. The longevity is good about 8 hours, the scent is worth buying.

this is tremendous, thick chocolate cake patchouli. I was deciding between this and Jovoy's Psychedelique, and while the Jovoy smells more refined, it was also a little thin to my nose. This on the other hand, has a real texture to it what i felt was missing from the Jovoy. This and Oud Dream are my favourites from Montale so far.

This might be my second or third review for this one here, I don't know...but, I want to say if I had not said this before, this is an incredible patchouli fragrance. I like it more than I like Psychedelic or Profumum Roma Patchouli, I have all three. One of the best Patchoulis ever put in a bottle.

Are you a patchouli lover? Then you are at the right spot ! A wonderful mixture of patchouli (60%), amber(20%) and vanilla(20%) with good sillage and longevity. A rainy damp day can be at its best with this perfume. This is almost the same as Jovoy Psychedelique but you pay less!

This is very patchouli forward and I like that. The more I wear it the more I like it. I have Leather Patchouli - Patchouli Leaves reminds me of that one; however, it is a softer fragrance. It lasts all day.

You only need to know one thing about this fragrance. It is 100% PATCHOULI AND IT SHOUTS IT FROM THE ROOFTOP. No joke, 48 hours later it is still detectable nose to skin. Faint but immediately recognizable.

Love it! Pure focused patchouli. Earthy and beautiful. Very comforting. Montale has got it right here. A forest alight and aright.

Great patchouly fragrance. Nice

This is kind of a perfume drama for me, in a meaning that I can't really describe. Straight off, I love patchouli and how it is used in perfumery. It's dense, earthy, sweet, 'chocolate like' rich and substantial olfactory qualities gives a very unapologetic and bold experience. In my subjective opinion, as @Vexel mentioned, this is not absolutely authentic patchouli olfactive profile, however the formulation still makes a homage to this particular note, raw material. This is built upon expansive amber raw materials (I can imagine) like Timberol, Norlimbanol, Ambermax, Amber core, maybe Madranol or Amber extreme, or Ambrocenide. The naturals are nicely chosen, I cannot tell it is purely artificial. But aroma-chemicals and their selection (especially ambers and musks) is key in the construction of this, I strongly believe. It seems to be also very Musk heavy, so we probably can expect a complex musk accord here together. maybe with Helvetolide and other linear "top note" Musks to support this expansion of the opening, which you receive directly after application. I mean one spray will fill up your entire room and will be noticeable on the corridor. This is an artistic fragrance for sure. The opening is very rich and luxurious, it pretty reminds me heavy oriental middle eastern perfumery in some degree. The olfactive qualities of Patchouli itself I receive in first hour, personally. The dry-down is quite unique and extraordinary, definitely not mass-appealing, very intense. It reminds me dry fruits like plums in blend with Ambers, Musks, Patchouli. It's quite abstract, I notice some leafy and humid qualities in the smell. I think that this is very much Amber based perfume. Ambers and Musks are indispensable in this, they are more important in the core of the perfume, than Patchouli raw materials. It evokes very strong emotions, a very particular vibe, it's very hard to describe, I totally agree with other reviewers regarding this. Very artistic, sweet, heavy, dense, earthy, humid, with some chocolate nuances. The projection and sillage are not strong, they are atomic, like a nuclear explosion. I think that one spray (2 max.) is absolutely enough. (Be careful xD) I can't be more agree with the fact, that was said here previously, that this will be appreciated by patchouli fans. If you don't like patchouli, you will find this a no go for sure. This is a perfume for a very individual, artistic soul with a trained nose. This perfume is opposite to mass-appeal. Undoubtedly niche, monstrous wall of a fragrance, really well and smoothly blended with nicely selected naturals. Wear it appropriately, or it will wear you and everyone near you as well. Special occasions, night calming bars, jazz clubs - absolutely appropriate. Wear it to a nice outfit. A truly unique smell. Do I like it? Well, personally, I like patchouli very much. But I struggle with this perfume, because there are some facets I love about this and there is also something I don't like that much. I will give it a try, I will try to learn it slightly more. Very difficult to wear, it can transform differently depending from the skin type, I believe. Nonetheless, the perfumer's work is very appreciated here. A staple perfume.

Patchouli is a funny note. I find in some combinations (having tried this with essential oils), I can lose the patchouli and it’s just adding a certain facet, like an earthiness or an herbal camphorousness. In a fragrance like Patchouli Leaves, it eats up all of the other notes and becomes a megapatchouli - you never lose track of it and the other notes here like amber and musk just amp it up. So a natural, earthy/dirty but slightly sweet chocolate lab(danum) patch, of outrageous projection and longevity - I’d be shocked if any other purist patch scents could compete in those departments. The trade-off is a raspy and synthetic note in the (very) late drydown, but I think it’s necessary to have that in there to amp this up to such a huge degree. I find Reminiscence Patchouli more “perfumey”, as in people will identify it as a perfume rather than just an interesting scent, which makes it a bit more feminine to my nose. Patchouli Leaves smells more natural (despite showing its artificial hand after a while) and I do prefer it. The first Montale “wood” category I’ve tried, and I’ll have to try more. They have so many fragrances, even trying one of each category requires invoking the axiom of choice*. * by a wide margin the nerdiest joke I’ve made in all my reviews here. I promise to be good from now on**. ** a lie, obviously.

Very stong on the patchouli note and it heavily morphs through its life on skin. First, it opens with a very dry, moldy, earthy patchouli that does smell a little stale. This lasts at most an hour, then it starts morphing into an ambery, sweet chocolate cake patchouli and it reminds me a lot of Coromandel during this stage, just less sweet and less refined than Coromandel, but pretty similar. The deep drydown I get a very spicy patchouli as if it was mixed with cinnamon and it gives me old hippy retro vibes. This is my least favorite phase and it lasts a few hours. Lastly, in the last phase it regains some sweetness back as it settles into a skin scent. The longevity is incredible, it lasted on my skin until the next day, something that rarely happens on my skin because my skin is a perfume guzzler, unfortunately. I'm a patchouli lover but not for all kinds. I think Patchouli Leaves is indeed a great patchouli fragrance because it shows a few facets of this wonderful plant, however, in general, this is definitely not my favorite patchouli fragrance in a universe of patchouli fragrances. If you don't like patchouli, stay clear, you will not like this at all :)
