Pink Extasy

for some reason when i first tried this perfume, immediately after i received it, i could not bare the scent. it was repulsive and too strong. there was a sharp note in it (maybe the tangerine?) that repelled me away from using this. it's now been almost a year since i purchased it, and upon trying it again, there is much more of a lipstick vibe than before. there is an undeniable old-school makeup scent to this that places this perfume in my signature fragrances list for good. i think raspberry and peach aren't commonly found within base notes of perfumes (not entirely sure), so with this fragrance you will be getting a girlier-than-usual perfume that lasts as such throughout wear, not progressing toward the expected warmer drydowns we normally get with perfumes. this can be a good or bad thing i suppose and makes this not so much of an easy wear. it is syrupy sweet, sickeningly sweet rather, and extremely lipsticky and synthetic and somewhat powdery. if that just happens to be what you're looking for, you'll love pink exstasy because the peach and raspberry and iris are quite prominent here. pink exstasy has these like tart, sharp and fruity qualities which bring this out of the specifically lipsticky perfume category and yes much like some of the reviews mention, adds a cleaning supply sort of resemblance. i don't really mind it, but don't overspray this one or you'll be smelling it on your nostril hairs for at least a week. one of my favorite signature scents now and definitely a unique perfume for sure. i have never smelled anything like this and i'm super happy i blind-bought. i love montale, there is like an oud quality or something to each of their fragrances, their signature quality, that secret note they don't disclose but whatever it is, if you like exotic perfumes, you just can't go wrong with montale. i definitely recommend pink exstasy to some, but not to most. it is way too specifically a certain vibe of fragrance and not suitable for many because it can smell a bit obnoxious if this isn't exactly what you're looking for. i absolutely adore this fragrance. 🩷✨️💬🗝🍵

one of my favorite desserts is pêches flambées, melba style with grand marnier and served à la mode. Pink Extasy Montale completely captures every delicious nuance of the molten table-side vanilla cream exactly. Hints of butter to glaze the copper sauté pan, the first five minutes of high-pitched citrus sizzle and fizz from the peppery orange alcohol carmelizing the peaches, slightly mastic melba raspberry rose turkish delight, and the carmelized butter crunch edges of the flambé meeting the cold vanilla ice cream. The Iris provides an ambient background of fumed clientele and tuxed staff handling the heat. What a wonderful gourmand! Great, just really so great. Questionable whether one would be able to live without it.

This really is a "pink" scent in its nature, being sweet, sugary, with raspberry, rose and iris in it. The orange and tangerine combination prevents the fragrance from being a purely powdery/waxy lipstick scent (it makes the perfume slightly sour, citrus smelling in the opening), but it gives it a nice, juicy fruitiness. I really like this scent, one of those better sweet and fruity perfumes I smelled. In the beginning it reminded me of some cosmetic product for little kids (maybe a pink fruity toothpaste?), but now I find it kind of mature and overally beautiful.

It is strange that no one mentioned that this perfume has lipstick note in it! And if youlike lipstik-make up like perfumes its a must to trie! What i like the most about Pink Extasy is that it doesnt go lipstick straight away (like Lipstick Rose by Frederic Male, though it is also nice:) it also has nice'n sweet backround, which makes this perfume deep and luring! It is very girly, flirty and the same time it makes me feel polished (that makeupy note ;)!

This is the ultimate barbiecore pink perfume. Loud, beautiful, clean and sweet with a pinch of nostalgia I can't quite put my finger on. The Iris & raspberry combo was my main reason for blind buying this and I am very pleased. Citrus does the heavy lifting at first and mellows out to a dainty powdery sweet iris !

I understand how it might feel too cloying by the opening i mean most Montale perfumes are but i dont get the downvote. This is the first full bottle of them that i got. Sweet fruity with musky powdery at the base made this a very girly perfume. Love how it projects and stays on my skin.

Sweet, even gourmand, loaded with different sweet notes. Candy scent. Can't smell Any citrus whatsoever. Vanilla, raspberry, powder and sweet rose are definitely there though. A good bit of iris is present too, it starts showing properly after an hour or so. A pinch of musk. The rose is not medicinal/old fashioned, not the "rose water" type- it's a likeable sweet scent. I can see why the "detergent" comments are there but it's not that bad, (take Tom Ford's Peach- the most flat chemical on the planet but has so many fans) ;) I personally do not dislike this note in Pink Ecstasy, it's quite comforting. Overall- it's a candy. Very sweet, very feminine, no sudden rough notes. A bit different from Montale's usual spices, oud, leather etc notes and unisex vibe. This is just extra sugary and super feminine.

Another Montale blind buy for me, but I'm impressed again! I am a sucker for sweet, fruity white flowers, and this absolutely encapsulates that for me. I have always been attracted to the extremes of scent, and I think this perfume rides the line perfectly. It's a fantastic fruity floral that has a lot of staying power, with strong projection and sillage even after the dry-down (my jacket still had notes of raspberry and vanilla after coming out of the wash). Complex, potent, and succulent orange, peach, and raspberry dominate while rosy white flowers stay skintimate and fresh. Polarizing, but delicious enough to take the plunge. If you want to smell unique, fruity, sweet and feminine, this is an easy go-to!

Pink Extasy belongs to the same family as Guerlain Insolence EDT and JHAG Miss Charming. Very pink and feminine, but not girly and frilly. I smell a lot of juicy raspberry and a sweet rose, and a dewy iris right behind them. It has a powdery edge, but not as much as Insolence EDT, and it's more a lipstick vibe than baby powder vibe. It does have the same violet candy sensation as Insolence, but with the juiciness of Miss Charming. Pink Extasy is super strong (as I would expect for a Montale) but not heavy or syrupy. It smells like spring!

A typical lipstick-like fragrance of sweet raspberries, powdery iris and rose, with some extra peach and musk that the others don't have. This could be a nice scent, but unfortunately it has an unpleasant, harsh background noise that reminds me of plastic and wet paper and totally ruins it for me. Maybe this is what reads as buttery to others, but unfortunately that's not how I would describe it on my skin. No idea which notes might cause this. So, yes, this perfume reminds me of the color pink, but I feel no extasy when I smell it. The plasticy note slowly calms down after a couple of hours and gets replaced by vanilla. At this point Pink Extasy becomes likeable. The far drydown is warm and balanced with layers of fruit and powder. Ultimately there are many fragrances on the market that fall into this "fruity lipstick" category and I wouldn't chose this one out of them. I guess it's still worth a try for fans of the genre, because it might work differently on other skin types. The drydown is quite pretty after all. Performance-wise is fine, but not as extreme as some other Montales.

The first smell that came to my mind right after spraying it was - Toilet cleaner. The base notes are okay, but i just cant smell like the top and middlenotes.

This is okay, but there is a "buttery" depth I can't get behind. I don't know how else to explain it. The fruit is drowned out by whatever that is (florals?).

It has the same vibe as Vanderbilt Gloria Vanderbilt IMO. Heavy iris, mixed with rose and vanilla, '80s vibes. Smells pinky indeed 💗

This perfume is not the most disgusting one by Montale, but I don't like it at all. Only Mango Manga is worse than this. I can't really say what it smells like, I only sense jasmine and uncertain fruity scent. There are few perfumes that are truly unbearable I think this one is one of them. Sweet, sticky, synthetic smelling, not good in any way. It's not worth a try in my opinion.

Maybe if you are a very young girl... ? On second thought, it might colour their olfactory futures forever in a crippling way.

At first I kind of smelled insolence and really liked it, but quickly, within seconds, it dried down to cleaning smells.

Yup, cheap air freshener smell... Just not good

Very clean, very soapy. Normally I detest soapy scents but this is a very unique soap that I actually developed an addiction to it. Doesn't have that hospital medicinal like smell that many Montales tend to have. Also lasts for hours on skin and days on clothes. I smelled this on my clothes a month after it was sprayed. It's very rare to find a clean scent that lasts ages. Longevity: 9/10- 9 hours on skin at least Sillage: 5/10- Don't think there is much of a trail with this Projection: 7/10- Projects out a few feet Smell- 7/10- It's not a genre I usually like but I liked this one. A unique one for Montale which creates rose/oud heavy scents.

Opens up with a fruity juicy aroma to it. Very juicy, peachy cocktail. At the heart of this fragrance is a heavily sweetened, fresh pink rose, with a glazy, slightly aquatic texture to it (something like hard candy). I get a flush of white flowers underneath this, that add lift and freshness to the rose. I don't really get the raspberry, or the lipstick tinge many people talk about. However, the fragrance does seem to get a bit stale late in the dry down though. Like very late, potentially next day; which I would link to the musk (a poor choice in musk here). Not for long-term use, but very nice attributes otherwise.

Holy smoke. This is just pure strawberry bubblegum of the worse kind, vile and vulgar. There is nothing worth mentioning really, buy yourself a pink bubblegum for under U$ 1 and will be about the same. A big NO.
