Rendez-vous à Milan

This could be a tropical flanker to Intense Café! It smells very Montale, with the same coffee note as Intense Café, the characteristic rose note that I would describe as hot pink and metallic, and a base of creamy white musk and vanilla. The rose is toned down in comparison to IC and other Montales though. If you find Montale scents screechy, this won't be the exception. Luckily I don't have this problem and generally enjoy Montale. Rendez-vous a Milan is a really nice addition to the lineup. Besides the notes I mentioned above, I get a lot of the yellow fruit notes they added. To me it mainly smells like mango, with a touch of peach and orange. I sometimes find mango notes too sour, but this one is sweet and juicy like a perfectly ripe mango. The basil note is subtly blended into the fruits, so this isn't a very green or herbal scent. I'm a big fan of Intense Café, but I wouldn't wear it in summer. This could work on summer nights and basically year round. The fresh tropical fruits make it different enough from other IC-like fragrances, and it simply smells very uplifting and good.

Now this is niche. Very original scent. Rendez-vous a Milan is like nothing that I have ever smelled before, not even similar to anything. The opening is very unique and (to my nose) not in a good way. I was ready to cast it off as a regret buy, but wait for about five minutes and this strange coffee with basil smell goes away revealing a very refreshing and pleasant scent. This fragrance will be very refreshing in the spring and summer, but is also bright and catchy in winter. It performed surprisingly well on my cool skin and in cold weather making any day instantly brighter, just get past those first five minutes that (to me) are pretty unpleasant. To me this leans feminine. I have tried this on my husband and we both agree that it smells way better on a woman, but I think some men will be able to rock this fragrance as well. Very unique and not a safe blind buy. Test first and give it some time, do not cast off based on the first few minutes.

One of the best fragrances I have bought lately. The basil is the great power in this composition. The coffee and rose are more on the back ground. Beautiful Caramel in the drydown. Totally unisex. Performance and longlivety is good, not too strong, but acceptable.

this actually lasts 10 to 12 hours with 3 sprays, godly projection at first but kinda falls out after a few hours, fills up rooms almost immediately on the first hours though , one of my favorite fragrances rn

Opens very, very green, like rose leaves and stems green, then transitions to basil with a little sweetness, then I get the spices, much later comes the coffee. I don’t care for the opening. After that it is a very pleasant fragrance that evolves nicely. But it is delicate and feminine not unisex. I want to smell this on my wife, not me.

Imagine you have sprayed Intense Cafe, and you are sitting on the balcony, sipping an espresso with 1 cube of brown sugar, and there is a basil shrub on the porch and the neighbors roses are wafting occassionally in the breeze.

To me this literally smells like pesto. 1 to 1. And i do not want to smell like pesto 💀

Smells like sisha ,sisha bar ,the smell is almost identical,to the point you really start asking yourself if the author was really trying to mock us all,😅 like " I bet I can put the sisha smell wrapped in a Montale bottle and sell it for 120 euros , usually I'm the first who disapproves harsh reviews,but I don't find any other words,I don't doubt the quality of some of the Montale fragrances ,but putting out over 200 in less than couple of years,sounds like a good money scheme to me, not to mention having a daughter company who those parfums are just paste copying the Montale ones

Disgusting and very synthetic!! It reminds me of burned hookah tobacco with a cheap caramel coffee scent. I’m a huge Montale fan, but this one is really a big NO GO🤢🤢🤮🤮👎🏼👎🏼

The smell reminded me of the ashy green shell bean dish from my old school cafeteria, couldn't stand it.

Rendez-vous à Milan feels like an extremely toned-down version of Intense Café, infused with a fresh, green twist. It’s green, yet still carries a feminine touch. It’s as if someone sitting at a distance sprayed Intense Café in a garden just after the grass was cut. The scent is lightly spicy and green, with a delicate hint of basil—subtle yet distinctive. An interesting blend, but not quite my taste.

The opening is very strong on the basil almost overpowering the coffee but it’s a nice mix of notes. The dry down is absolutely to die for! Lasts for ages and I’m pleased to have it in my collection

Why dont i see this on the Montale website, but instead see a Rendez Vouz a Paris which is a completely different fragrance which isnt on Fragrantica?

Peach-basil-vanilla ice cream. Very Sweet. I'd say 100% feminine. It's kinda cool and unique, but I don't really like it.

At first, smell exactly like Intense cafe with a hint of basil. But afterwards smells like rotten fruit🥲

Love the bottle design and love the notes but since this is a Montale you probably smelled this already.

is it just me or all Montale perfumes smell more or less the same? Sugary rose and vanilla
