Roses Elixir

This opens as a bubbly citrus before smoothly fading into a soft rose aura backed by strawberry. It's fresh, uplifting and carefree. Pink and feminine but not necessarily girly. I really like strawberry as a note and don't think it's used as much as it should be. The rose and strawberry combination makes it slightly jammy but it's not really gourmand. It's undeniably happy and reminds me of Miss Dior Cherie in a way that I didn't think possible. I love Miss Dior Cherie and was devastated when I heard it was discontinued so when I smelt this I knew that I simply had to buy a bottle. It has that same girly shopping champagne cheer to it. It's adorable and fun. I think it's softer than and not as 'harsh' as Miss Dior Cherie which I like - infact I think I like Rose's Elixir more out of the two. It's very musky and light almost like a breeze. It's a perfume you wear when dancing, drinking or picnicking with your friends. It feels like a spring perfume with flowers and bubbles around you. It feels almost like a guilty pleasure perfume that allows you to have fun and give into girly urges. It IS sweet (as I'm sure you were expecting) but not so much so and it loses it's sweetness as it goes on. It gathers a sort of depth when it settles into it's warm base of amber and vanilla. It's slightly powdery and I get a lovely, particularly strong, amber. It has an almost Victorian lace feel. I really like how Montale does the note of Rose and this feels like a distinctly them perfume. It reminds me of their Intense Cafe of which I love. I find the sillage average but around the four hour mark it turns into a skin scent.

Well! This IS the twin sister of Cherie, no doubt about it! As for all twin pairs, tiny differences distinguish them - so here the musk is more pronounced and sleek than in Cherie. As for projection, Cherie could be the more extroverted of the two - Rose is a bit more demure. Longevity is again Cherie's thing, because Rose cannot be bothered - let's be honest - to stay around too long. She leaves after some 2-3 hours to cozy up as skin scent. BUT. What an absolute delight to have found a long lost love in this twin!!!! A must, and again a well deserved 9/10 for Mr. Montale - because Cherie, my dears, has that bolder, bubblier personality I love, but I don't mind his sister's company one bit! Try to believe, the two are one and the same stamp, with tiny, pleasurable difference which renders them just about recognizable from one another. What a pair! Rejoice lovers of Cherie, in her twin you can find solace from her absence! Perfect for day, any season, and office too (with moderation). Sharing a bed with Rose is a tender, lovely affair for sure!!! Update: I decide to go for a double test, side to side. Cherie is actually subtler and more refined (with that amazing popcorn note!), but Rose Elixir has incredible projection. I own originals and remembered Cherie for being projecting very far, but side to side is a win hands down for Rose - when it goes to skin scent, it is still the stronger between the two. Perhaps skin PH changes with ageing, affecting how perfume reacts with ours. In any case, they are almost identical, so I'm very pleased!!!

Sparkling strawberry-rose fruit-chouli scent... Rose is definitely present, but strawberry is the star of the show here, and it's a sweet, ripe, sparkling, citrus-y & fruitchouli strawberry. By contrast, rose is the velvety, musky & powdery substance that carries and projects the strawberry. Does remind me of Miss Dior Cherie 2005, however it's been awhile since I had my nose on Miss Dior Cherie after my bottle was stolen from a hotel room on a class trip to Puerta Vallarta over spring-break. After that, the reformulated versions never quite cut it for me, and always seemed to be missing something, so that I ended up giving them away. I probably still have a miniature of the 2012 but that's it. Whatever it was that the reformulated versions were missing, this has it - that je ne sais quoi. It doesn't have the popcorn or caramel, but it does go quite sweet in the drydown. With Montale powerhouse performance, it's beautiful & luxurious. Update 02/05/25: Sprayed this on today, and it's gotten even better. I was on the fence for awhile about whether to put this in storage for a few years, but I pulled it out today because a good scent is a good scent, period. I'm really appreciating the white-florals here as well as the strawberry-rose fruit-chouli. Layered it over Bodycology Strawberry Cheesecake lotion, and I'm currently in heaven.

As a huge fan of the long-discontinued Miss Dior Cherie, I was so excited to get my hands on this perfume as a possible replacement. I'm very pleased to say Rose Elixir actually exceeded my expectations! From first spray it's immediately recognizable as being very similar to Miss Dior Cherie, but there are some slight variations. The top notes are a bit more sharp, with a fizzy kind of green sweetness that cushions the jammy strawberry and prevents it from becoming too cloying. This perfume is less warm than Miss Dior Cherie - though it is still very sweet it has more of a floral/woody vibe (probably from the namesake rose note). It seems to have more patchouli, and more of a fruity sweetness than the caramel popcorn gourmand notes in MDC. As a bonus, the lasting power and sillage is NUTS, I will catch whiffs of this on my clothes literally days after I've sprayed it. Overall, I think this is a very good replacement for Miss Dior Cherie but not an exact dupe. I actually think I like this one better, it smells a bit more flirty and slightly edgy while Miss Dior Cherie smells more demure and elegant.

I've had this for a couple of years and find myself wearing it mostly in spring. It's good in heat, but I hesitate to wear this in high heat. My skin really pushes this to an atomic level. I've knocked a few friends out with this one before. Go easy on the trigger. I very much enjoy the dry down, but the initial spray is really synthetic and borderline cloying. It can come across as a bit on the grape syrup side of things. Once it cools down it's really pretty. I overall like how clean it is in my skin. I saw someone in the comments mention noticing a metallic note. I do as well, but on my skin it really works, especially if I sweat. This one is definitely synthetic and very much on the youthful side. I've found that I really like it in my hair. I feel like it's a really sexy/flirty hair scent, as well as on skin. This one lasts around 10+ hours and I will often smell it lightly humming on my wrist the next morning. If you spray it on clothes it's forever. Overall, it's really pleasant, but definitely has a time and place for me. Longevity 10/10 Originality 5/10 Playfulness 100%

I was on a hunt for a replacement of one of my everlasting loves, Dior - Miss Dior Cherie, for some time now. Through Fragrantica I found Montale's fragrance so I bought it, without testing it before. Got also a great deal online. It definitely reminds me a lot of MDC, and somehow it has filled an empty space, after Dior discontinued its fragrance. I completely agree with the reviews saying it is a happy and cheerful fragrance. You get strawberries, citruses, musk, jasmine and especially crisp, natural roses. The distinctive note in Rose Elixir is the rose, in all its glory (its name says it all...), a very special rose that can be found in many of Montale's fragrances. If you like Miss Dior Cherie, you will enjoy this fragrance. Not similar, but very much there...For those who are looking for deep, oriental, dark rose, this will disappoint. For me, this was a huge hit, because it was exactly what I was looking for. Needless to say, it's a great performer, two-four sprays of this is enough to fill a room, for more than 12 hours.

This is dee-liiiiiicious! Strawberries, beautiful florals, and just traces of vanilla and musk. Strawberry for grown ups, for women who were once little girls who loved Strawberry Shortcake (the character, not the dessert) like I did! I still have my bottle of Miss Dior Cherie from when it was first launched, and I must say that I am very happy at the resemblance. I am always afraid my bottle will turn rancid, and then what would I do? I am going to hurry and buy a bottle of Roses Elixir while I can! They are not identical, but they share enough of the same notes and characteristics. I think Roses Elixir smells less complex yet also smells a bit darker, more syrupy, like a strawberry cordial. I do get that bit of green too, which prevents the perfume from being too candy-like. I would prefer to try Roses Elixir in the wintertime. It seems more heavy than fresh. Delicious, just DELICIOUS!

Like smelling a field of roses with a tart mouth watering strawberry lemon candy in your mouth. Ultra girly and feminine! A happy bright fragrance for an instant mood lift. I could see this working on all ages but especially someone in their 20s. It’s tart and candied with a sweet dry down- just a very hint of patchouli adds some depth to ground the tartness. I would pick for spring day time with a big smile on your face. For those commenting about it being synthetic or screechy, I agree if you’re putting your nose right on/above the skin you sprayed in on, but I find the silage and smell in the air (what others would smell) to not have that. I love testing on myself but then having someone else test it so I can understand what it smells like to other people in the air. If wearing this for a night out I bet you’re sure to get a lot compliments from both sexes.

This little gem is pure magic on my skin. Terrible when first applied, overwhelming, sharp, intrusive, chaotic. Not pleasant at all! But after 15-20 minutes something magical happens. It turns into something completely different. It's soft, sweet, well composed, sophisticated, very feminine. The strawberries and roses takes center stage. There's vanilla perfectly lingering in the back. It keeps changing through the day, where different notes comes to the forefront, after a while other note gets more prominent. It's like music, a symphony. It's strong and has great sillage, but not sharp and it lasts forever. This perfume is something different from anything I've smelled before. It seems to work perfectly with my chemistry, and people around me loves it. I'm sure this isn't for everyone, and a tester might be a good idea before buying a full bottle.

I just LOVE this perfume! To me it's a mystical blend of roses, musk, white flowers, vanilla and amber. It's so fresh and uplifting yet it's still classy and elegant and beautiful. When I wear it a lot of heads turn, and I get asked a lot about it ;) It's also sweet makes u feel so special like a princess ;) It's strange but I don't smell as much strawberry in it.. To me it's more floral and musky. It's staying power is great! It's one of few perfumes which can actually linger around and stay on you clothes for a whole week!! WOW The scent greets you upon opening your closet! (if you hadn't washed the perfumed piece yet) On my skin it stays all day and sometimes to the next morning (until I shower!) I LOVE YOU Roses Elixir! THANK YOU Montale! This is my first Montale perfume and it won't be the last :)

I just received my sample of this and boy am I in love! This is a wonderful blend of sweet roses and fresh fruit, it's gourmand and yet manages to remain watery and oh just so good. It also reminds me of a Fragonard I smelled a while back, but can't seem to pin point the name of it. But it definetely is the closest I've got until now to the original Miss Dior Cherie, it has that strongness and spicy stickiness and rosey cheekiness, which the new one doesn't have, but Roses Elixir doesn't lose its character. To me, it's like a brunnette walking along in the park with her significant other, talking about antique furniture and drinking black coffee in a cool breezy afternoon. Worth to try it, expect nothing, and you'll get a dream in a tiny spritz.

It is ever so interesting to read how different people's views are on a fragrance. If I had just read RosaMilena's I would have never even sampled this because I am not a huge fruity/strawberry fan. But I didn't and what I got from this was completely different (though her review is AMAZING!) I got the blast of rose from this right away and its not your typical rose scent, it is more creamy/pungent rose I don't know which. But I love the citrus note that I get right after. When it warms up on my skin I git a very sugary vibe which I will attribute to the vanilla. I put it on this morning and I can still smell it all around me so far I am looking at 5 hours now. That's pretty good in my book. I really am pleased with this find.

I miss Miss Dior Chérie so much, so when I heard it smells the same I ran to buy Rose Elixir. when I received it, I spray the perfume on me just before leaving my house, TWO people told I smell nice in an hour!! This is beast mode everyone can smell you and it last ! I still smell my perfume in my house the next day And yes, it is very very very similar to Miss Dior Cherie ! Specially when the perfume set so after a good 1.30-2h .. This perfume give the feeling that everything is pink, and I have the feeling to be a princess, that I smell precious and expensive I am so happy cause I was so sad about the discontinuation of MDC but now I am the happiest person on earth I finally got my signature scent back

Let me start by saying I never had full bottle or use to wear OG Miss Dior Cherie, but lovely generous friend of mine sent me a small decant and i loved it so much but could find a bottle for a decent price and after 2 failed Ebay purchases I bought Montale Rose Elixir. And WOW, it did not disappoint. Im so happy with it, it smell like 95% like MDC. A bit muskier. Longevity is much better and I actually love it more to. I find myself reaching for it quite often. That is a lot considering I do have a large perfume collection. Plus I actually found Montale that I love. Never thought that would happen since Im not the biggest fan of the brand and strongly dislike there bottles.

I love this perfume! It’s light, feminine and sophisticated. I could imagine a stylish and put together girl wearing this with a House of CB sundress and a cute bag. To me this isn’t sexy or flashy but is flirty. It’s not super mature or youthful, it’s somewhere in between. I think of light pink roses on cream satin sheets. I would wear this during the day in the city or at night. It’s not really a grocery shopping or doing errands kind of scent for me. I think it’s a safe blind buy if you enjoy the notes.

All day enjoying wearing my sample of Roses Elixir I have been reminded of some scent I used to wear long ago -- but was unable to identify until just now: Spiritual Sky Strawberry Perfume Oil! This Montale is a beautiful, upscale, wonderfully-made, rich and lovely scent similar to that sweet, cheap oil. That said, I DO love it but would only wear it in private for my inner flower child; roses and strawberries are not what I equate with sophistication or allure! Peace,love and harmony, though, absolutely!

The opening to this is very harsh and instilled fear in me that I'd made a terrible blind buy purchase, but don't fret! That synthetic harshness disappears after about 10 minutes and blooms into a beautiful, fruity-tinged floral. I strangely get much more tangerine than I do strawberries. It feels much more citrus-oriented, but thankfully lasts longer than most citrus fragrances! A real gem with great longevity and performance. A must-try if you enjoy fruity rose scents like I do.

This is wonderful. I've always liked the miss dior cherie's but something about the strawberry note/musk gave me a sickly stuck in the throat feeling. With montale I am free of that sensation and I get a very nice strawberry rose patchouli scent. A little still goes a long way for me as I did two small sprays in the cleavage with a small decant and really couldn't imagine wearing more. If you wish you loved miss dior cherie but find something off you should really try this.

@herculano describes it perfectly. I had Cherie when it first came out but unfortunately didn’t work on me and I got rid of it BIG MISTAKE, because now I miss it. Ok back to this, I really like it and I get the rose and patch very early on my skin. I am glad I own it and will be wearing a lot this summer. It is a mature scent and longevity is also very good. The projection is good and you will get noticed. I have always loved Montale fragrances. Highly recommended 10/10

The best Montale for me. It doesn't take itself too seriously but it's a highly attractive scent. I concur with the other reviewers that it's very similar to Miss Dior Cherie, only softer and with less patchouli, yet it somehow manages to be even more addictive. I'm contemplating whether I should get Pure Gold, and the only thing stopping me from buying it is that it pales in comparison with Roses Elixir. Idk, maybe I should get a back-up bottle of Roses Elixir instead.

Sweet and slightly boozy, Roses Elixir is an energetic, bright fragrance. This is my favorite "vacationey" rose, perfect for days when you don't want to take anything seriously. It starts out bright and citrusy, but after a few minutes it develops into to an almost chocolately, creamy warmth. It makes me think of chocolate covered strawberries, fresh roses, and champagne! It hints of La Rose Angel, occasionally, which I love, but this is unique, and perfectly fun.

I bought it because people said it makes similar to the discontinued Miss Dior EDT 2013 which was my signature to be honest it does similar similar this is the closest dupe of the Miss Dior Cherie and the dry down is amazing not a big fan of the opening though. This perfume is out of this world so long lasting feminine and fresh. My Aunt asked what I was wearing when I went to my grandfathers funeral because it lingered in my dress even a day after the funeral

....It`s called Rose Elixir, not RoseS Elixir..would not show it to me under the correct name. Feminine, powdery fruity rose. This is not a cold medicinal rose, it`s warm and sweet, and reminds of Signorina by Salvatore Ferragamo or indeed Miss Dior. While the rose is clearly present it is not the dominating note here among all the fruit and flowers. Well-layered, velvety, charming, sweet, feminine.

I blind bought this because of the Dior Miss Cherie comparisons. I’m so glad I did. At first it smells nothing like it as it’s sharp and a bit strong but it settles into a beautiful scent which does resemble my beloved Miss Cherie. Nothing will ever be like Dior but this is the closest I’ve found to the 2011 version. It lasts a really long time and I get asked what I’m wearing a lot.

On opening especially, this is significantly similar to Miss Dior Cherie 2011. Roses Elixir has a bit more of a green scent (maybe the strawberry leaves) and is a bit more woody. It also seems stronger. MDC is a little sweeter and fresher, but they are remarkably similar. I already have MDC so won't be seeking a bottle of this though it is nice.

This is what a seductive woman smells like. Beautiful and she knows what she wants, namely to be loved, cared for and pampered. I shudder when I smell this perfume. It is so much like my inner image of a super feminine woman! Love rose, strawberry and musk in it. But even more the ideal image it conjures up in my head.

I actually didn't expect to like the notes as much as i did. it's actuallz turned into one of my signature scents. it's very subtle and you may well use it for everyday-wear, but it also has a bit of an edge. i enjoy it so so much and reach for it on days i'd like to feel a bit ..different, eccentric even.

I love this. Velvety smooth, warm, sweet, ultra feminine. It's truly a wonderful sub for Miss Dior Cherie (albeit cleaner), which I wore often when my children were younger.. When I asked my daughter to smell it, she made that connection right away, adding, "yeah, this smells like you". ♥

Happiness and joy. These are the two words that describe this gem of a perfume. Delicious strawberries surrounded by a freshly picked rose bouquet and a bit of musk, which adds depth and color to this fragrance. My favorite Montale so far. Serotonin in a bottle!

This perfume is right up my alley. Girly, uplifting, bright and great performance I agree with the comments saying it smells like Soap and Glory products, this is also how I remember their body butter smelling. Would highly recommend

Sweet, bubbly, I can see some resemblance between this and Miss Dior, that same light champagne sweetness mingling with florals, I would say this is a little lighter, and obviously features a more prominent rose, a happy pink scent.

The closest to miss dior cherie 2005 ive smelled. Fresh and gorgeous like a spring day🥰 Its just magical and the first time since the 2005 miss dior cherie i got the same feeling it gave me. (even if nothing will ever beat MDC)

This scent is so underrated! I've never smelt anything like this scent. I don't get roses but I do get strawberries which is very rare to find in perfume. Nothing in collection smells anything like this scent and very unique.

After the initial blast of high-pitched fruitiness, this settles and develops beautifully. Strawberry, rose, vanilla, musk and amber. It just smells good. And it lasts several hours on skin and days on clothes.

I love it soooo..but not by itself ..I pair it with NR Musk Noir Rose , and I have people chasing me and asking what is it I wear :))

A lot of strawberry-roses-citric fruits! Lovely, clean, not so sweet that I expected, but is a cute and very feminine scent.

It’s different fun perfume, really feminine.. It s hard to describe it: citrus, synthetic strawberry and the rose.

This is the one that should be called Roses Musk! I don't get any ressemblance with Mukhallat - with its incensey smokey and powdery notes, Mukhallat is fire/air, but here it's a floral/aquatic quality. These two are different in textures - Mukhallat is asperous/powdery, Roses Élixir is silky smooth. I get what reminds people of Miss Dior Chérie - it's a fruity, musky, ambery frag. Linear, like the few other Montale fragrances I've tested, I'd say it's an everyday girly and fun perfume. Maybe not as complex or as elegant as Dior, but still pretty. The jasmine+amber does have a solar quality like in Alien/Mugler (to me it smells a bit like tea), and the orange blossom does give a clean-ish note. Strawberry is only prominent in the beginning, as is the rose. For me it's a white or sherbet lilac coloured scent, not pink. Like with the other Montale, it's the kind of scent that grows on you. I found it too strong and artificial smelling at first, but it settles really nicely. I guess it's a must test, and if your skin gets along with the specific musky notes Montale uses, it's a match!

This scent is such an oddball, I had a bottle of this years ago and just recently found myself missing it again so I snagged a 15ml decant. When I say oddball I mean that solely based on my perception..sometimes I find this scent to be to screechy and in your face and if overly applied gaggy.. but also find it so addictive pleasant and uplifting when done right. I layer this with jo malones nectarine blossom to to tame the rose and make it more fruity and yummy, the mix makes me feel sexy and interesting. Roses elixir is in no way a masculine scent but I’m gay and I’m drawn to it’s fruity sweet playfulness. Like others stated extreme heat and a heavy finger may bring on the gags but in cooler weather and done lightly it’s magic. :) Side note: I do get the Miss Dior comparison..but to me the toilette (pink juice) which I love..not the parfum which I find too sticky sweet.

I am in love with Montale as a perfume brand as they have very unique scents and are incredibly long lasting. This was actually my first perfume that I owned from Montale, which I first purchased about 2 years ago. I loved it back then and still love this scent, however I feel that I have outgrown it. I have used it halfway and in the meantime I have found other scents from Montale, specifically Roses Musk and Dark Plum that I found slightly more mature but still sweet and loved it more than this. I passed this one on to my younger sister who loves it ! The scent is very girly and young. I think it is one of the youngest fruity scents from the Montale range. Very sweet, the strawberry is definitely dominant. I also smell sweet candy. There is a soft rose throughout, which makes it even more girly. Soft musk and vanilla in the dry down.

Rose Elixir opens and cruises through the central notes with a bucket full of candied strawberry fruit compote. A dash of roses, a bit of fruit juice, a tiny whiff of orange blossom round out the strawberry dessert. I happen to like strawberries which is a good thing. There is no gourmand excess other than this particular event thankfully. The vanilla is reasonably restrained. The ambergris and musk bolster the entire decadently rich fruitiness into a marginally elegant drydown. But really it's all about strawberries. It could easily be a fruity chypre if they just threw in some oakmoss and a tad of patchouli. This actually reminds me a great deal of Miss Dior Cherie EDP 2011 with it's stewed strawberries as well. As fruity florals go, it's an excellent fruity floral. Those who truly enjoy strawberry will love this.

This has got to be my most complimented fragrance. It smells fruity, it's fresh and playful. I have to say that I don't really smell the roses. This one makes everyone go crazy whenever I wear this! I used to wear this in the summer at night when I was going out with my friends and they even wore it too! I must admit that I have outworn this. Before I became a fragrance freak this used to be one of the few perfumes I owned. and I even rebought this and kept wearing it everyday for a year or two straight. I bought this one when I was 18 and now im 22 and my taste in perfumes has changed completely. Today, its still one of my most loved fragrances but I don't wear this as much as I got more into the dry amber/ white flower scents. But this fragrance stays in my heart forever <3

Rose Elixir is a fresh, vibrant, bright, uplifting, cheerful, and energizing scent. It’s sweet and tart like a juicy strawberry, with a helping of fresh and light rose. The hair mist lasts an entire day and into the next, and the edp lasts nearly as long and together they're wonderful (and smell identical). I wasn't really looking for a new love, and frankly I wouldn't have thought of this as a contender, but here I am, pleasantly surprised at how much I’m enjoying this! As others have said, this is a scent that puts a spring in your step and a smile on your face. And like every other Montale I've tested, it has the potential to fill a room so a little goes a long way although it's hard to hold back because it's just so darn pretty!

This is one of my first fragrances I have ever bought. I immediately fell in love with this after smelling this in a fragrance shop in Egypt. I bought it because we didn't have this brand in Holland a few years ago. It was my go to night out/clubbing fragrance. Very juicy, loud (in a good way) and sexy. You barely smell any roses, it is just a lot of strawberry and a bit synthetic to me. This has to be my most complimented fragrance ever. I always get compliments whenever I wear this! People just go crazy! I have nearly finished up my second bottle but I think I have outworn this fragrance. Also, my taste has changed a lot! But definitely give this a sniff :)

I don't find this overly sweet at all. I actually really smell the earthiness of the strawberry leaves at first. The rose is prominent but quite green, then the musk, a hint of white florals. It is actually a smidgen like Victoria's Secret Strawberries and Champagne in the beginning. There is a slightly dry bittersweetness that I would liken to a rose wine or a sparkling white maybe, or perhaps a mixture of both. Pulpy earthy strawberry. The notes are blended very well. Wow, the musk gets very lovely as it wears on. Very very gorgeous slightly sweet natural muskiness. Mmm. It has really nice sillage. You'd only need a spritz or two. The drydown is beautiful.

Definitely smells sweet, sweet, sweet at the beginning. I'm fine with it though, because it's fruity-sweet, not sugary-sickly sweet. Over time the fruity smells abate, and I'm left with more of the rose. It's a very pretty rose, actually, and you can smell the other florals in there as well. Compared to other fruity-floral perfumes, this is far more based in the fruity smell rather than the floral, but it's a nice change from most other floral-fruity perfumes. It doesn't smell department-store to me, honestly, the layering of the fruity smells is just too rich for that.

Roses Elixir is a beautiful combination of roses and strawberries with some green notes and a musky base. Stranglely I can't smell any vanilla or amber. I don't find it particularly sweet as many other reviewers do but rather fresh and bit tart. I don't get the similarity with Miss Dior Chérie either... Actually to my nose MDC smells like caramelized strawberries with strong patchouli notes whereas Roses Elixir is a very fruity floral. The star is strawberry, really. You have to be a fan of strawberries to fully enjoy this composition.

One of the most feminine perfumes in my collection. I got it mainly for the strawberry notes, since I've been looking for a strawberry perfume for a while, but it's only noticeable after a little while (important to those wanting to get it for the strawberry). The initial scent is simply rose, fitting for the name. But as the perfume dries down it becomes sweeter, enanching the fruity notes, especially strawberries. Not as strong of a perfume as I thought it would be, but definitely lasts a long time. I really like it overall (:

I can't compare Roses Elixir to Miss Dior Cherie as I've never had the pleasure of smelling MDC, but I can say that this bares a striking resemblance to Miss Dior (new). The main difference is that the clean, dark green patchouli note of MD is not present in Roses Elixir. Other than that, they are essentially the same to my nose: an almost aquatic feeling citrus rose musk with indistinct fruitiness and spiciness. Upbeat, optimistic and radiant. The kind of fragrance that smells good on just about anyone.
