Sweet Peony

I have to give my honest review because this perfumes hasn't many reviews besides from here. I couldn't find a lot on Tiktok neither Youtube. But I just LOVE this perfume and I'm glad that I blind buy this perfume. Just one comment from Tiktok made me give it a try and I'm glad I did. First, I have to tell you that my ph on perfumes is terrible🥹. NONE of the perfumes I had try, owned and wore stays on me the whole day or even leave a sillage/scent trail wish is something important so that way you smell yourself and other can smell you 🥰 but in my case that almost never happened, just one time where I sprayed a perfume on me and after 10 minutes someone ask me for the perfume I was wearing but that time doesn't count 'cause after 20 minutes the scent was gone as always. I had tried really good perfumes that in reviews mentioned they have strong longevity and sillage but even tho, still didn't work for me. I was about to just stop trying to find the perfume that will stay on me long time and leave a scent trail because I was just wasting my money very often. But then this PRECIOUS came around! I definitely can feel the peony, so I don't know why some people say it doesn't have it, you have to remember the peony and rose have similar smell so it's tricky to separate this two. But also it's clear that the rose is stronger in note than the peony in this fragance. But definitely there is both in this bottle. Now, the vanilla and apricot are very present in this fragance, you definitely can smell something warm and at the same time fresh, I use is the vanilla and the clove but believe in a good way the freshness of clove is present 💝. Also the jasmine is present I asume because I smell other flower besides the rose and peony. I can't smell the coco or the coffee which I expected to smell since those are strong notes but I will wait until night to see of I catch those notes later. Talking about the other things... Sweet peony by Montale is definitely a more delicate feminine scent than masculine type. I always say that all perfumes can be used all seasons whatever time of the day. So honestly you can use this perfume any time. I feel this fragrance for an everyday use not because is boring, but because it's a cute fragrance that I believe everyone will like to smell around. I feel like a princess with this fragance, and I think this is a candidate to be my signature perfume but now that I discover Montale world😍 I will try other perfumes in its collection. The longevity and sillage are going strong . I know because I never smell me before and now every time I enter a room or I go upstairs or downstairs I can smell the fragrance 💖💕🥰. I will update after the night to see how it went... Overall, I recommend y'all to try this perfume.

What a gorgeous, powerhouse scent this is! A confused, nuclear mix of caffinated rose/peony, and vanilla assulted me but quickly mellowed to creamy vanilla coffee liberally poured over lush pink peonies and roses with hints of powder. Absolutely lovely! Sillage began explosive but softened to a happy medium. Longevity lasted well over 12 hours on my skin and 24 hours on my clothes from 1 liberal spray. I'm glad to add my first Montale to my collection. My heartfelt thanks to Katrinawhitney for a wonderful swap.

Montale's Sweet Peony is beautiful! When you first spray this fragrance, you are immediately greeted by a crisp breeze and diverse bouquet of fresh flowers. Then it dries down to a softer, more powdery floral that is sweetened by a bit of vanilla. It is beautiful from start to finish. This fragrance is for the feminine, elegant woman. It is the strong but silent, attention getting type. Lovely.

One of the best perfumes I have smelled. I feel I smell so good and clean. Almost like a expencive lotion when the coconut blends softly with all the notes. Beautiful from start to end. Gets a little almost too sweet once but really fresh and feminin all the rest of it. Before and after and when at its sweetest. Very strong. I only need One tiny spray.

Smells like a floral Dove soap bar to me, I may need to try this again to make sure my brain isn't playing tricks. I don't mind it though--- I love the smell of Dove so much I was actually wondering if there was a perfume smelling similar. In short, it smells clean, delicate and floral. Really gentle and subtle!

Very sensual perfume. it seems simple, but in a few minutes a beautiful, sensual peony blends in with the many notes. later a wonderful, soft, powder smell appears on my skin. you need the scent for a while to show how wonderful it is. thanks for the experience. I like to wear the scent.

A beautiful, feminine and powdery scent. I love wearing this during the day when I'm working from home, to go do groceries, meet someone for a lunch date. I get tons of compliments from men when I wear this one. It smells clean and fresh! Full bottle worthy 9/10 ❤

I really like this sweet floral perfume. It is like you mix "miss dior blooming bouquet" with vanilla & peach. Perfect for fall, winter and spring (too bold for summer). Very feminine, I like gourmand and floral scent, so... 9/10

More mixed floral than true peony on top, but very pretty all the same. I would say the peony comes out more as the perfume wears on. Sillage is great on me, despite my very dry skin. Endurance is also very good as well -- lasting 8-12 hours, and on my clothes indefinitely -- which is great, as I really like this scent. I also get compliments on this scent frequently, confirming my suspicions as to its sillage. Overage a more subtle and refined floral stew than flowerbomb, no offense to flowerbomb, lol.

I bought this for my wife and it is so long lasting, very sweet, floral and feminine. She has been wearing it in the heat and it’s not too cloying. I love how it smells on her, very attractive and makes me want to get closer to her when she’s wearing it. In summary it’s a beautiful, well balanced, long lasting fragrance with a fantastic sillage and I would recommend it to any woman.

I deff. get the comparison to Tresor Absolu..but more closer towards the dry down..(the Tresor DNA is there) It's a candied peony rose combo warmed up with some vanilla & woods. It's sweet, seductive & feminine nice if you like gourmands & also like the smell of Tresor..little strong at first but it mellows out like anything.. not bad, but not my favorite.

Very powerful, the quintessence of femininity. Not very original, but formidable in longevity and sillage. Peonia and peach in pole position. Interesting

Very sweet floral, a tiny touch fruity but the base adds some depth and balances it out. It's very feminine and delicate still but not in a juvenile way.

This is a very girly, floral perfume and although i'm usually a fruity or gourmand fan, this one is very nice! Perfect for spring or summer!

This one was just a like for me. I mainly get rose lol. Its not a bad fragrance, just thought there would be more peony in there.

Sweet flowers, I like it ..but nothing special I think

Started with a rose jam, settled into tanning lotion. Disclaimer: not coconut sun-tan cream, just regular lotion-lotion from when I was a kid. Kind of nostalgic, though.

I have 4 peonies bushes growing in the garden. All 4 varieties are fragrant with different smells each. None of them smells like this vanilla candy floss. This perfume is everything but peony. Powder, sugar, candy, vanilla, touch of fruit and flowers. Mostly sugar. There is -not a trace- of peony in it whatsoever. Probably top 3 biggest disappointments from Montale. As a fan of peony smells I was in disbelief how you can give your perfume such a name and not include a hint of the actual peony smell. Do not buy if you are looking for a peony scent and not a candy powder one.

To me this is awful. A big nothing.. It is not sweet,and it hardly smells like peony at all.. it smells like a very cheap synthetic version of miss Dior. I have no clue how they got the name sweet peony

That was a really unpleasant surprise for me. I was hoping for a nice peony scent, which’s one of my favorite notes. What I got was overly sweet, nauseating synthetic fragrance where flowers are barely noticeable. Had to scrub it off almost immediately, so can’t say anything about its performance. I couldn’t smell jasmine, peach or rose. Only super sweet coconut. I definitely do not recommend if you’re looking for photorealistic and/or fresh peony perfume. Try Dior Blooming Bouquet instead, I had to overspray BB hard after scrubbing this one off to fix my senses. Yuck! (Sorry if you love this scent. It’s subjective and I don’t want to hurt anyone feelings, I was just really disappointed with the misleading outcome).

Nice, but really sweet & heavy powdery Yes, it's similar to Girls Can Say Anything IMO it's even closer to NR Narciso Rouge (EDP)

I like the scent. It is a sweet floral. I was afraid of the vanilla because I generally hate that scent but with this perfume it is not overpowering. It's the base but you don't smell it heavily. So, the scent is nice. Unfortunately the sillage and longetivity are really poor. This is one of the worst perfumes in terms of this. Won't be buying this just because it is a really weak fragrance. Maybe if you don't like heavy scents and you only want people to smell you if they are up in your face, eyes shut and doing yoga breathing exercises, this one is for you.

smelled this on the most fabulous man today, paired with shades and an all back fit very laid back . fellas, just pick the florals you like, let the aura do the talking . this is very luxury “pink flower” smelling, & got a compliment from me at least .

This reminds me of a fabric sprayer that your mom use to iron clothes with. It's fruity and floral and it's pleasant to my nose. I would not buy a full bottlr because it's not for me but it's still nice.

Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Damask Rose and a sweet jam of cloves-peach and coconut. Very 90's! Very Christy Turlington walking in an Yves Saint Laurent Tailored Blazer. Go for it!

Why even call it peony? The peonies in my garden would spit on this faker. Back on the hunt for the perfect peony, that actually lasts longer than 5 mins. ...sigh

A blossom love but without the heavy, slightly indolic tocuhes. Perfection
